The house was Great for our needs. We would rent this house again. We come every year for the Chowder Walk. The ocean view WOW.
The only challenge was using the key pad to unlock the door.It was not user friendly It did not have a spare key to lock the door so it was locked from the inside and he ran out the garage opening to get out.

Communications to and from Vacasa staff were excellent! On arrival to our rental accommodation, the door cypher code allowed easy access. The home was spacious and well furnished -- very comfortable for 5-6 people. The kitchen was clean, all appliances worked great. For the cooks in the group, this kitchen provided everything you need to be a creative cook! That's a definite highlight. The ocean view was, of course, breathtaking! The home was very clean, and the floor plan was perfect. We would definitely stay at this home in future visits, and would recommend to others! Awesome home!

Woke up Friday and 7 year old grandson said he saw a mouse in bathroom. Didn’t give it much thought till I saw a mouse in kitchen about 5 pm on Friday
Called the 800 number and was told local rep would call me in 15 minutes. No call at 7 pm my wife calls back and gets hung up on. I call back at 8 pm and am told someone will call me by 9 am Saturday. I rummage thru garage and find 5 mice traps I set them all and catch 2 mice sometime before 7 am Saturday. Took pictures and sent to Vacas reply was thanks for the pictures. I finally had enough and I called the 800 number and spoke to a guy in Florida. I told Him the issue isn’t really the mice but the lack of a phone call back to have Vacasa fix the issue not me. I have a vacation rental in Tahoe and never would this happen. I would fire the rental agency. So caught 3 mice by Saturday night and no more

This is a lovely, large home with great beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The neighboring houses are close and the area has the feel of a subdivision rather than a neighborhood. There are plenty of hikes and beaches nearby, but only within driving distance. There were some cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and dirty placemats, but otherwise it was quite clean. My sister loved the place and plans to go again with her adult kids.

Everything was great for our girls weekend trip. Loved the access to the beach trail, house was clean, kitchen had all of the essentials. Enjoyed everything about this property, would definitely stay here again!

The good: the home has a panoramic view from Point Reyes National Seashore to Bodega Head, is spacious and well located.
The bad: it is dated, the beds did not get high marks on comfort from my group and it needs a detailed cleaning.
Would recommend with caveats.

Bodega Bay is a beautiful section of the coast, great hiking and views. The location of this house is great - two trail heads in easy walking distance, both take you on trails that wander down to the ocean. The water views are pretty, with the morning fog moving in and out of the shoreline. The bright pink blanket of flowers surrounding the house was lovely and inviting. The house inside was comfortable and “friendly” with cozy furnishings amid much eclectic varied shore art - great for a relaxing fun getaway. While the house had a very clean kitchen, bathrooms, and such, we deducted stars for the light layer of dust that was noticeable on several furniture surfaces. We advised the rental agent right after we left, so it could be attended to — an easy fix. Would we stay again? Yes.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacle Peak house. We enjoyed hiking, beach combing, wine tasting, good restaurant meals in Bodega Bay and browsing art galleries in the town of Bodega.
Furnishings were nice and the kitchen was especially well-appointed.
The only glitch was the front door lock. The keyless lock didn't work well and we ended up having to contact Vacasa who helped us access a key which was better but the lock was still problematic. It needs to be repaired or replaced.

We loved the view, the space, the peace and quiet. We loved the way the big windows let in the light and the sky lights gave a view of the moon.

Generally this is a nice property in a great location. The set-up could have been more user friendly like instructions for TV, dishwasher and maps and area details in an easy-to-find location. We had to move a small piece of furniture and found quite a bit of dirt underneath, Many of the dishes in cupboards were unclean and had to be washed before use. Those small things add a degree of frustration that a vacationer is looking to avoid.

Four siblings aged 70+ found the property perfect for our mini vacation. Property is all one level with three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living room with multiple sofas and a wrap around window with a view of the ocean! What more could we ask 😁The kitchen table also gave us a two-sided ocean view and the golf course to enjoy with our coffee and breakfast. We definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants to relax and partake in conversations with others in your party.

We felt cozy and enjoyed the property. The water heater should be turned down a little, because one could get scalded if they aren't careful.

Wonderful Home
This is one of the best coastal vacation homes that we've rented. The views are outstanding, the kitchen fully stocked, a very comfortable and cozy living room, and comfortable bed. It's too bad that they are not dog friendly. Otherwise, it's a great house.

Suggestions which were communicated to hosts was to provide a fee basic food items such as packets of mayo, mustard, ketchup and butter. Had to make a store run for these basics.

Great little spot walking distance to pinnacle gulch trail that leads to a beautiful beach. Kids loved it. Home is a little outdated but still has that homey feel. Will definitely book again.

We checked in for 2 nights during a rainstorm and turned the heat on immediately. 3 hours later as we ate takeout dinner, it still was only 62 degrees inside so we wore outerwear all evening. 6 hours after check in, around 10 pm it began to be comfortable. Unacceptable given how expensive it is to rent here. Small things like broken window shades, molding that fell off when we closed the front door, need fixing. I contacted the manager the night we came home and they said the local manager would be in touch. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing. We won’t stay here again.

The house is spacious and homey with a wraparound view of the bay and ocean. Its elevated location is a definite plus for sunrise and sunset viewing. The house is well-stocked with many amenities.
