We stayed here for our daughter's Blithewold wedding. This was the most pleasant surprise of the wedding! Almost did not do it because it was just one more expense...as anyone hosting a wedding knows - thank heavens we rented this spot! It was fabulous. Photos don't do it justice. House so well stocked - had EVERYTHING you could even imagine needing. Location was wonderful. Everything was spotless. The bride and bridesmaids walked across the street for photos (unexpected bonus - no limo). Added bonus, everything you forget is a quick walk away and you don't need to bring "emergency" items to the venue. Tons of space to get ready, lots of bathrooms, mirrors, etc. Also, there is a separate suite area which was so nice that our bride/groom checked out of their local hotel and stayed with us our last night because the house was nicer. Owners were wonderful and accommodating. This was like borrowing a friend house rather than a short term rental. 11 out of 10.

Had a great weekend at this location! The house is pristine, and you can tell the owners really care that their guests feel like family when staying! They have thought of everything! The pool is wonderful and it was really great to have 2 kitchens! The house is also in a wonderful location!

This property was amazing and had everyone you need for a vacation! Between the check-in process, the communication, the amenities. This place was a dream, and I would highly recommend for those looking to have the best of both worlds, a pool at home and a drive to Newport/the beach!

Our family had a fantastic stay in Bristol. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable. Donna met us to show us the property and explain how things work. We were able to utilize the spacious home and manicured garden and pool. There were even toys available for my young son. We were visiting the area to attend a wedding at Blithewold Mansion and we were the luckiest guests because the house couldnt have been closer to the venue. All we had to do was walk across the street. Accessing the historic portion of Bristol was also convenient. It was an approximately five minute drive.

Great house! Accommodates many guest. Backyard is gorgeous and house is extremely clean. The 2 full kitchens, many bedrooms, and washer and dryer were also a great bonus! Location is great and not a far ride from Newport!

The perfect location in Bristol for easy access to Blithewold, Portsmouth and downtown Bristol. Not only were the rooms and furniture beautiful and comfortable, but there was plenty of space for our family and an abundance of amenities. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. A true pleasure after a day in the sun and humidity. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were extremely helpful and responsive, and provided us with recommendations in the area. We hope we can visit again in the future!

Home was lovely, there was an abundance of kitchen and general supplies that were extremely handy. Beds were firm but comfortable, all bedrooms and bathrooms were so well appointed and made you feel indulgent! Property managers were available for questions or instructions (there was a technical glitch with the hot tub pump and pool waterfall was out of order during our stay). One note, if staying with small children, many doors lead out to pool/jacuzzi and there is no safety fence around the pool/jacuzzi itself. Would absolutely recommend to anyone for a great vacation.

Excellent location for son’s wedding at Blithewold. A sanctuary of comfort and luxury. The home features spaciousness and every amenity. 2 “Primary Bedrooms” - king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms: tile showers, tubs, double sinks and toilet closets. A large alcove off one of the primary bedrooms accommodated our twin grandchildren. There are 3 additional bedrooms with easy access to full bathrooms. The linens were top quality! The living spaces are unbelievable; literally 3 distinct living/family rooms. All beautifully decorated. The jacuzzi & pool area is perfect for cocktails & cook-outs. The pool is situated into the L-shaped house, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Nice outdoor setting for grilling fresh Swordfish (Andrade’s Market/Bristol) on the brand-new gas grill. These lovely spaces provided a perfect backdrop for the groomsmen’s photographs. The most unique aspects of this home are the 2 fully-stocked kitchens. One family could have their own kitchen while we did adult cooking and cocktailing out of the other kitchen. Like have 2 houses, but all together under the same roof. Also, when I say fully stocked…Every appliance, gadget and cooking apparatus you could possibly need. Fully organized and tidy. There are 2 full capacity laundry areas. Our hosts were awesome. At one point the power went out but generator kicked in immediately. I realized that the owners of this home were not only thoughtful, but had thought of EVERYTHING!. 11 out of 10!

We stayed at this beautiful and large home for a family wedding at Blithewold Mansion. The location could not have been better! The house itself is much larger than expected and the owners could not have been more hospitable! We only wished that it was warmer so that we could enjoy the beautiful pool. I would highly recommend this property!!!

This property was incredible. Driving up to it we were all mislead. It it is massive. Every room had a crisp spring time smell. The host were on site and so accommodating to all of our needs. The beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were inviting and intimate to really bring our group together. I could have not asked for a better place to spend Memorial Day weekend on my wedding day. My wife and I were so Please that we are now considering staying there again for future events. I highly recommend this location for its ambiance and its proximity to other great places in Bristol. This was a perfect experience.

This is the perfect spot if you need a group house for a wedding at Blithewold Mansion. Christian and Donna, the homeowners, were responsive, unobtrusive and helpful. The house is also fantastic and much larger than it appears in photos. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at this beautiful home in Bristol! It had everything we needed and more for our stay and was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Great location, too. Perfect for hanging out with family!

A mixed group in town for a wedding. The home could not be set up more beautifully, more well stocked, and overall just perfect if you are visiting for the weekend maybe packed with special events. This luxuriously furnished home gives you the chance to relax and just savor the special weekend with friends.

Being from the area but having since moved out of town, the house was a perfect location for us to stay while visiting back home. It is a good distance between Providence and Newport. Perfect hybrid between house and hotel, the stay was not just luxurious it was lavish. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. The owners were professional, kind and courteous, especially after we had left some items behind. If the occasion ever arises, we’d love to work with them again!

We rented this House while we were in RI attending a family wedding. The house is probably better than advertised! It was clean and spacious. Everything we used in the house was a quality product. You can tell that Christian and his family care about the experience that their guests have! The pool and the hot tub were perfect and everyone had an amazing time. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We are already hoping to plan a longer rental next summer!

Property is great, good location and owners are very prompt to help with any issue that arises.

We had the best time - house was spacious, beautiful and amazing! My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Special treats provided by hosts with nice note as well, we felt very welcome and recommendations for food were also great. Bristol is also a beautiful place to visit.

My wife and I stayed at this property for 5 nights with 4 other couples, celebrating our birthdays. We had the intention of hitting the beach, but the pool and backyard were absolutely perfect! (There are plenty of beaches a quick drive away.) The inside of the house was immaculate, but because of the beautiful weather and backyard, we were only inside to sleep and prepare meals. The town of Bristol was about a 20 minute walk, filled with great views, shops, places to eat and more! The owner of the rental property was an excellent communicator as well, quick to answer questions before we got to RI and while we were there. We can’t say enough about this property and would highly recommend it!

Super comfortable. Nicely appointed; seemed as if everything was new, and we found everything we needed in the house (we'd never encountered such a complete kitchen, for example). The pool was wonderful, and the hot tub. We spent almost the whole week at the house without exploring the area, grilling up dinners and enjoying a private relaxing environment. Property Manager was very responsive and easy to communicate with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Gorgeous property, Great pool with beautiful hydrangeas and plantings, comfy seating, lounging and eating areas! Two completely stocked kitchens, wonderful gathering rooms. Spotless and cozy. Not one complaint!!

The stay at this property was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. It was very accommodating. The hot tub got a lot of use, as the pool. It was a lovely time, our daughter was married at Mt Hope Farm and the proximity to the rental, could not have been better. Thank you for everything and we will keep you in mind for the future. Our stay was an amazing experience. The home had everything you could think of. Extremely comfortable and relaxing for our entire party of 11 adults. Homeowner was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive and couldn’t do enough for us. We would highly recommend. In fact we all had such a wonderful stay we are thinking of making it an annual event!!! It was difficult to leave.
