Stayed at Surf Side 1 before, a few times. Wish we were facing southeast instead of northeast.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We sent a email to Cinnamon Beach Vacations and did not receive a response for 4 days. By then we were packing to leave 2 days early. Will never book this place again!! Very dirty, mold, dirty sheets, dirty dishes, used toiletries in drawers, no response from management for days when complained.Very poor management!! Not worth the money!!! Did not offer to resolve problem until we were leaving. Only offered to send a cleaning service!! Never Again!!!

The view of the ocean was beautiful, direction of condo and position of sun in Feb prevented seeing the sun rise unless you lean over the balcony. Sunset off of front of building was beautiful. Furnishings were older and tired looking. Both beds were very firm and uncomfortable . Neither balcony screen worked. Bedroom screen would fall off the track so never used that door. Living room screen was hard to open and close (even after maintenance look at it) so it let in bugs. Half of cookware was unsafe to use due to non-stick coating peeling off. Management and maintenance staff were wonderful. Price was high for overall condition of the unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the Palm Coast area for 10 years, staying at a beach resort. We've driven by Surf Club and thought it would be a great place to live. This was the first time in 10 years that we had a patio where we could watch the sunrise and have an everyday view of the ocean. We love it.The pool was nice. As others have mentioned the beach is not really one for swimming or small children because of the natural rock that lines the coast. It is a great place to walk, above the rocks at high tide and on the other side of the rocks at low tide.The location is near many beautiful public beaches. There is an option to fish in the intracoastal at the Boat Club which I think would be great on another trip . . . or if you lived there.The pool was nice, but is more of an adult pool. I think there is another pool more for children, but we didn't visit.The unit itself wasn't fancy, but comfortable and clean. As someone mentioned the bathroom counters are low, which was kind of weird, but the showers, lights, etc. were fine. There were extra towels and sheets which was nice.The Cinnamon Beach Vacations staff was very attentive and helpful. Maintenance was helpful.Overall, I loved this place and would stay there again.

My husband, 2 boys and I spent the week in this condo for our annual beach vacation. The check-in process was a bit hectic given the property management company didn’t provide the elevator key code nor did our room key code work properly at first. I will say they were very responsive and got us in and settled quickly though, but just not thorough enough in their prep ahead of our stay. The condo was just ok – the kitchen and bathrooms really need updating. The bathroom counters were very low and the master shower head worked fine for me as I’m short, but my 6’ tall husband had to duck down to get his head under the water. The screens on the sliding glass doors both came off during our stay. The condo was mostly clean in the common areas, but it could use a good deep cleaning. The biggest disappointment though was the beach. It is completely covered in very large rocks and only available to pass through at low tide unless you want to risk breaking your neck. We had to drive a few miles down to go to the beach which was ok, but not at all what we anticipated nor paid for. The listing did not mention this at all. Finally, the community is like a scene out of Cocoon, which is fine, but for a young family like us, it was not ideal. We definitely had a great week and made the most of our time there, but would unfortunately not recommend highly nor will we be back.
