The house is nice on the beach. The master tub jets are dirty but kinda of expected being on the beach. Back deck was awesome. Main room was nice place to start the day.

Perfect beach house! Ease of getting onto the beach and find perfect sea shells!

Weather was great and property was nice. The only suggestions that I would have are easier access to play room from inside with stairway for children safety and older people would appreciate taller toilets.

Our priorities for a SGI rental: 1. Location 2. Space/size 3. Decor On the first two counts, this property is 5 star. It’s right on the beach and there’s nothing like flirting from the house to the beach. Magic! The house has three bedrooms on the main level surrounding a spacious common area with kitchen/dining. We did puzzles, played games, hung out: The space fit us well. Additionally, we cook a fair amount when on St George and the kitchen is sufficiently appointed to do so. On the third count of decor we have to take away a star or three. This house is strange because while the space/bones of the house are good (a bit dated, nbd) and the furnishings are even nice-ish, the decor on the walls and knick knacks in the main room are wildly over the top! Gimmicky, beach-theme decor actually drips from the ceiling. The bedrooms are free from this treatment. If this property just removed 3/4th of the extraneous decor from the main room the rental would be lovely. It’s odd that it’s the removal of something that would improve this property drastically. I’m not fancy, but this was beyond. About the downstairs: this space is fun! TV, ping pong, foosball, bunk beds. My kids (10,11) wanted to sleep down there alone. I was fine with it until bedtime, when I was literally locking them into the separate space and realized I wouldn’t hear even the loudest cry for help. Something to consider. The deck needs some structural maintenance. The owners were very responsive!

Perfect for our family. Great layout and fully stocked. We enjoyed having all major amenities on one floor and loved the beachfront hot tub. The ramp came in handy for my older mother and the downstairs entertainment was great for ping pong.

The house was perfectly suited for a bunch of guys chilling on the beach and enjoying the sleepy island. The game room made for great fun after the bars closed and the hot tub made for a good backup when we weren’t feeling the brush of the waves. 10 out of 10!

We had a great stay here and would absolutely return. The property manager, Jody, is extremely quick to respond to any needs and was a joy to deal with.

I broke my hip 3 hours after we arrived and spent the rest of the time in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The family shared pictures they made of the children who appeared to have a great time.

If your sole concern is location and views this property would be perfect for you. The location on the beach is absolutely amazing and the views are amazing. The property is lacking in terms of cleanliness and upgrades needed. During our stay we took pictures of many roaches between the kitchen area and the laundry area and I did inform the property manager they should spray. We like to vacation in places that are nicer than our home and this one didn’t hit that mark. Very old and uncomfortable furniture and the house was definitely not sparkling clean it needs a good deep cleaning. Kitchen cabinets and drawers definitely haven’t been cleaned In a while in the inside So again so much potential and amazing views but we would definitely look for a nicer home next time. Also make sure to bring your own beach chairs and tent or umbrella whatever you like to have on the beach.

Very nice property with all amenities needed. Right on the beach! Very quiet and relaxing. Only thing to note is you have to go outside to get to the bottom floor with outside stairs. No inside access. Not a problem for us but thought I’d note for anyone else. Checkin was a breeze and we had no issues while we were there.

We enjoyed our four-night stay and the opportunity on the beach. We worked around the separate levels. Appreciated the the provision of beach towels and toys!

We had an amazing vacation with family! The house was everything we hoped for! We saw dolphins, a shark, jellyfish, crabs and collected many shells! We had a game room in the basement, amazing stove and left with clean laundry! Jody is a great host who was available at all times and willing to come by and assist if it were needed! Definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for the memories ❤️

We were so very pleased with Buns in the Sun It had all the comforts of home with the most amazing view. The island is less commercialized than others. I loved the property and location. I had a lot of trouble with the WiFi and was never able to watch TV in 2 of the bedroom, finally got the TV in the living room to work with cable, I never tried the basement TV. There was a mix up with the password and a slow response from the manager until I finally understood what and how to log in. Still didn't fix the TV streaming. All TV appear to be using Roku for streaming but could never get it to log on to the internet. Need much better instructions on how to make the TV's work. It was super bowl weekend after all. Second concern was the hot tub. It was great and wonderful but we spent a couple hours trying to figure out why we couldn't turn off the jets and or why they wouldn't off. Finally just gave up and let Chucky run the hot tub. I think the control panel may be going flaky. The cover is a big pain and has to be strapped down with cargo straps that are just barely big enough for the job. Getting the showers to work took some time. There is a small thing around the tub spout that pulls down. Who knew? Like I said I loved the place. The deck is great, love the ramp instead of having to steps each time. It right on the beach. The kitchen is well appointed. Great towels and linens.

This was the most AMAZING stay we have had in a looonngg time. Buns In The Sun was just that. We spent the majority of our time in the Sun even though it was a lil chilly outside we could not help ourselves. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. The property manager Jody was great. She was at our beckoning call. Even helped us with things she didn't have to. To sum it up we will visit again without hesitation. Oh the hot tub on the deck was PRICELESS. A proud VRBO renter Michelle PS Jody your the best :)

The only thing we had a little problem with was the stopper in the guest bathroom. I went to Family Dollar and purchased a rubber stopper to hold water in tub for kids bath’s. Not a big issue, but you might want to have someone check it out. We enjoyed our stay and are considering it for next year about the same time.

Loved everything about the house. Rented a golf cart and never had to use our car to go out to dinner and bars. Only thing i would change is to put a keurig coffee maker. House was super cold. Love all of the acs. We will be back for sure and stay at sun your buns. Thank you for letting us enjoy this property.

Perfect home for the pile of kids we had! The deck and stairs down to the beach were soooo worth it! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay (and we have stayed in many rentals on St George) - the house had a good floor plan and plenty of amenities and nice touches (thanks for the use of beach towels!). We had thought of using the lower level bunk room for kids so they could have their own space (and access to the game tables) but that space was very very musty. I alerted the house manager to that issue so it may improve, but I would be cautious about using it as a sleeping area (esp if your kids have asthma). We did not need all the beds though so we were fine with only using the main floor bedrooms. Overall a very nice stay!

The location is fabulous, right on the beach and we loved the sunroom to experience the ocean/moon/stars after dark & in the morning to avoid the bugs. Beach towels being provided are a great touch and the kitchen was well equipped. The lower level was perfect area for the teenagers to stay, we now are in the market for a ping pong table. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was awesome, especially at night to look at all the stars. Look forward to getting back at some point.
