Homebase was perfect for our week long Mill Valley visit. It is clean and well equipped. The hosts are responsive and kind. The bedroom on the first floor allowed for privacy for our teen. The hills, narrow street and driveway are daunting at first, but we quicky got used to it. Thank you for being great hosts.

Our family had a lovely stay - the home was clean and convenient to town. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and the host was very responsive and helpful.

The rental, the space, the setting and the hosts were all and more that we could have hoped for. It was pretty amazing to wake up and look out the windows straight onto the redwoods, to sit out on the back deck and listen to and watch the many birds while gazing skyward at the treetops, and to take an early morning walk and see deer grazing and a very young coyote also on its morning walk. The space was well equipped and met all our needs for food prep. Mike was very helpful and very responsive. The written information he and Kate provided was descriptive and very helpful: Restaurants, (including their personal reviews and recommendations), nearby hiking trails, beautiful destinations to drive and hike to and many destinations for arts and entertainment. It was a quiet, welcoming, and beautiful setting… Grateful to have found it, for our time there, and for such great hosts.

MV Homebase is an incredible property nestled in the towering trees of Marin County, yet close to town, hiking, and so much more! The studio is covered in windows with views for days, the kitchen has everything you need, and the rest of the home truly provided the perfect getaway for peace, reflection, adventure, and relaxation. Mike and Kate are AMAZING hosts!!!

Our family of 5 (kids 17, 15, and 11) had the best stay in this fabulous rental. It may be the best-equipped vrbo we’ve stayed in and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed walking the stairs and pathways to downtown Mill Valley, exploring local trails, and the short distance to Sausalito, Muir Woods, and San Francisco. Mike was a great host with lots of helpful suggestions for the area and great communication. If we ever find ourselves in the area again (and we hope we do) we would love to stay again.

Very nice place in a great setting. Home is clean well appointed, and bigger/nicer than the photos look. Owners were communicative and helpful.
