This house was AMAZING! It worked out so well with our family having four master suites facing the beach! What a view to wake up to every morning to look out and see the ocean! The amenities of this house were wonderful!! The spacious kitchen was phenomenal and very well equipped. To have two refrigerators/freezers, two dishwashers, two ice making machines and two washers and dryers suited our family perfectly! This was our first trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. We loved our week here celebrating our 50th anniversary with all of our family!!

This has the potential to be a beautiful home. Let me say that the house is huge and accommodated our family well. Overall maintenance on the home is lacking. Light bulbs that were burned out and not replaced, plugs that didn’t work on one wall of the home, bench in the shower was broken, lots of outside fixtures were corroded and there was a hole in the wall as you came in the front door. Once again the set up of bathrooms and bedrooms is great.

This house was everything we wanted for our summer family vacation. First, the location is great. It’s far from the giant condominiums so the beach is practically private. Next, the house was enormous and fit our needs perfectly, with room to grow. Every bedroom has a bathroom, which you will not find many places. The pool was small but perfect for breaks from the beach. Multiple refrigerators, ice makers, dishwashers and laundry areas made things very easy as well. This place is bookmarked for future summers for sure. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

We loved staying at this house! We had a group of 4 families that came for spring break, so the 4 master bedrooms for each of the adults was perfect. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of parking space and space for our 4 big vehicles to turn around. The beach was beautiful and private, so we always had a spot to sit. Location was GREAT, right on the beach which made it very convenient for kids to run back and forth for snacks and bathroom breaks; far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown to be relaxing, but close enough to be able to run and get groceries or do something fun. We had a few pieces of trash the cleaning people missed and a couple of broken door handles when we arrived, but they came to fix them the next day and that went very smoothly. The only downside for us was having to leave!

Easy to rent, get access and communicate with Vacasa. Beautiful home at a beautiful location.

We loved the home itself! Gorgeous view and so spacious. There were a few things that need attention. I commented on a couple of the things the first day there and the next morning someone was there to address the concerns. I was very pleased with how quick they showed up to take care of the issue. I also let Vacasa know of a few minor things that needed attention and if they take care of those it will be a 5 star home!

Had great stay with 5 friends. House is spacious and well appointed. Kitchen is very well stocked with 2 refrigerators, 2 ice makers and coffee makers, and lots of glasses, dishes and flatware. Beds, pillows and linens were all very comfortable, Duvet covers appeared to have been washed for our stay. Back deck has plenty of chairs, lounges and two tables with chairs. Elevator was a huge plus for our group of mature ladies, with plenty of parking under the house.. We will be going back.

House was really nice and spacious. With four generations getting together for a holiday, the bed room arrangement was perfect. House is well equiped.

The location and house layout were great. There were several maintenance issues. The bedroom windows and sliding doors leaked alot of water during rain storms causing moldy, musty smell. Some bedroom doors won't close. Mold on the s reen porch and cushions. Showers had molded caulk. Towels were skimpy and hard. For the price we expected much better.

We had 11 adults stay at Windswept for a 40th birthday getaway. Everyone having private bathrooms in the bedrooms was perfect. The house is situated with super close, easy access to the beach and has a giant patio to enjoy the beautiful view. We loved the spacious kitchen with double refrigerators and ice makers which made a huge difference. I do think a house of that size should have double ovens. We made a lot of meals and navigating one oven to cook for 11 people was tricky. The microwave was also broken which left us with only a small countertop microwave to use. Other than those minor things, this house truly had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious!

6 bedrooms. Great! 61/2 bathrooms. Great. Plenty of room for everyone. But the best is 4 air conditioning units!!! Everyone is Comfortable in there own bedrooms. No climate controls!!!!!!! Climate controls are why I no longer stay at any condo. We will be back next year!!

The Windswept is a wonderful home for large families and kids. The kitchen was well equipped and the million dollar view never got old. We hope to be back again. Thanks!

Love this house! It fits all of our needs for 8 people. This is our 2nd year to stay here. My grandson is wheelchair bound so the elevator and pool work perfectly for him.

When we first arrived, we had a few issues, but the Vacasa Team took care of all of them very quickly. The house is great! It's spacious enough that people can do their own thing. Having a full bath in each room is such a plus. The beach access is the best! The pool could be a little bigger, but it served its purpose. I would book this house again, and I will recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful time and created more family memories!

This was our second stay at Windswept and we hope to stay here many more times. The home is perfect for our group of 15…. 10 adults, 2 teenagers (17, 13) and 3 younger ones (10,8,5). Everyone has their own space and it never feels cramped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The only thing you need to bring besides food is ziploc bags and trash bags. The 2 huge refrigerators and 2 ice makers really make a difference. We spent a lot of time outside on the decks and there is ample seating for everyone outside as well. We had an issue with linens on our first night but the Vacasa team was awesome and the problem was corrected the next day. Also problem with the microwave but again the Vacasa team promptly brought us another one. Wesley, Leann and Clark of the Vacasa team were amazing, they even have us their cell phone numbers to call them any time with any issues we might have. Talk about great customer service!! We will definitely book this same home for our next Gulf Shores vacation!

Great place for a large group. I love that everyone had their own bathroom. The pool is small but it worked well when the little ones got tired of the sand. The BBQ grill was nice to have as well. A few recommendations: more dish rags and kitchen towels and the showers could use a good scrubbing. 17K for the week and I don’t want to see mildew in the showers.

House layout was awesome, easily accommodated four generations of family. Great huge deck and beach access. However, had no Wi-Fi 95% of our entire stay which meant no streaming TV and no online computer access. One dishwasher was broken…maintenance was unable to repair during our stay and could do nothing about Wi-Fi.

We’ve already had two vacations at this house and have already booked it for our 3rd trip next year. It works wonderfully to house our extended family when we spend a week at the beach. The beach front access and pool are awesome. Lovely spacious living areas, big kitchen, nicely furnished bed/bathrooms. This has become our family vacation spot.

Overall very nice and I would stay here again! Love the layout and very close to the beach, wonderful decks! Pool is small but works fine. Carpet is worn and housekeeping left dirty towels in one bathroom, otherwise I would have rated this property excellent. Even so, I highly recommend this property.

Too many things at the house didn’t work and there were several issues with cleanliness

We had a group of 12 (9 adults, 3 kids) and this house was perfect as far as space and comfort! There is very nice patio furniture and the beach access is wonderful! The kitchen is very accommodating for a larger group, with 2 of practically everything.
We did have some issues with minor maintenance (broken door knobs and extremely difficult to open exterior doors) and cleanliness of the home, (mostly dirty floors and small areas (around toilets in baths, under/around sofas & beds)). There was a second housekeeping person sent the day after we arrived who mopped and vacuumed after I spoke with Vacasa. She also put in a work order for 2 things we had noticed at that point and someone was out to look at the issues, but nothing able to be fixed during our stay.
We were disappointed to find the pool was not heated or even circulating water, so it was actually colder than the ocean water.
In then end, we had a great time and I would honestly stay at the house again in the future!

This house was perfect for our getaway. With 4 masters, the adults each got their own retreat and the laundry room on both floors were a plus! The living area was so well planned and the open floor plan allowed everyone to be included in the conversation, cooking or not!!

The layout of this home was perfect for our group and had every amenity we could ask for. Two fridges, dish washers, ice machines, etc. ensured that there was never any waiting to get what you needed. Very nice furniture and décor throughout. The white sands beach just steps away from the large back deck with a built in private pool can't be beat! We had an amazing time, and will likely book again. If there was any room for improvement, it would be the internet service... not sure if any more bandwidth is available to subscribe, but it definitely struggled with more than one TV streaming video at a time. Of course, that's not really why we came to the beach, so only a very minor inconvenience.. still 5/5 stars for sure!
