The location of this property at the end of the street and directly on the water created a quiet and peaceful space to enjoy. The design and amenities were modern and clean. One of the two showers did not drain quickly but we were told that the plumber would arrive after we left for the repair. Our only frustration was the shortage of hand towels and face cloths and the lack of response from the manager. Nevertheless we had a lovely weekend at this Matlacha property.

Place was clean. Lacked amenities like soap for the showers. One of the showers had a drainage issue. Loved the location and sunrise views. Would love to see a couple of lounge chairs for the liana.

We had no idea what to expect as we had never been to Matlacha. Not only was the house very comfortable with amazing water views, the town itself and all of Pine Island is just awesome. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay here. The house was very clean and spacious. Had a very nice screened in porch area to sit in if the mosquitos are out. The host was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. The one thing I would say was a disappointment were the kayaks. They are smaller ones and one had a small leak. They are fine for paddling around close by but I would rent some fishing kayaks if you are planning on taking them out to go fishing in the bay. Outside of that everything was great.

We fell in love with Matlacha! We enjoyed the house and the hottub.

While the property was well-maintained and in a good location, communication with property management was frustrating.

We spent four nights at the property. It was a great relaxing stay. We checked out all of Pine Island. There were two different Publix near by in either direction. We tried the great Popstroke putt putt, enjoyed massages and pampered ourselves with mani/pedis. The house has a great kitchen with dining and open to family room. From kitchen you can see the water. I watched the sunrise each morning over the bridge while sipping on coffee. We also intently kept track of an Osprey who spent mornings in a nearby tree. Blue Dog is a great dinner spot. A walk to the fudge/candy store is fun and there are shirt shops and a breakfast spot within walking distance too. Highly recommended for relaxing/restful getaway.

Very roomy, beautiful views, and all the bells and whistles. One downer: King bed mattress could use replacing.

Beautiful property in a beautiful place. Enjoyed a quiet calm weekend relaxing to the beautiful views from the back patio. The sunrise from the back of the property was great. Plenty of wildlife to see with dolphins swimming close by and ospreys in the sky. Definitely would do this again. Matlacha is still recovering from Hurricanes Ian. Spoke to many locals that shared crazy stories. Everyone is very friendly. Definitely somewhere I would visit again

We couldn't believe how quiet this place was. The house was immaculate, hot tub was great, kayaks were fun. Screened in porch. House had everything we needed from dishes to wine openers to laundry room. Home away from home. Several restaurants within walking distance were great & you could tell the entire Matlacha area is a tight-knit community. Super friendly. Super glad we found this area.

This is a great home that is well suited for kayak and outdoor activities. The pictures on the website were accurate, to what we found when we arrived. The home was very functional but not cluttered with things, which I greatly appreciated. While the home itself was in good working order, be aware that the area is still recovering from hurricane damage, so there where still a lot of places that were not back up and running at the time of our visit. The host company was very easy to get a hold off and very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the accommodations! The open floor plan was fantastic, the water views, kayaks, BBQ grills and large screened in lanai made our stay so nice! Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice location in a quite neighborhood. The home is very nicely updated. The owner stopped by to say "hi" and was very friendly. Enjoyed the kayaks and being literally right on the water. We would definitely go back!

My husband and I needed a little get away and this Matlacha home was just perfect. This home looked brand new! Hurrican Ian definitely hit hard on this small town. However, the people are rebuilding and the businesses are starting to open back up. We enjoyed walking to downtown Matlacha as this place is very close. There were kayaks available for us to use, and we took advantage of a very nice launch to get in the water. The house was immaculately clean and the host thought of all the little extras to make our stay welcoming. This house is located by the end of the street which gave us a beautiful view of the bay. Dolphin came right up to the dock! They have converted the garage into a great sitting place (extra living area) which would be great if you brought kids. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We enjoyed using the hot tub and having 2 bathrooms. We loved being near the water, having access to an outdoor grill and kayaks. We also liked that we were able to walk to the coffee shop for breakfast, but we weren't there long enough to check out the other 2 eating places that are open. The area is still recovering from the hurricane, but there is plenty to still enjoy nearby!

This is a wonderful house; modern, clean, and lovely. My husband loved the kayak/jet ski dock and used it daily as he kayak fished. I used the screen room every day/evening as I could not get enough of the view. We were close to everything we needed and the communication with the property managers and owner were easy with quick responses. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling in the area. They are building back this community from the hurricane even stronger. Everyone we met was delightful. We would absolutely return here!

This home is absolutely beautiful and a spectacular location. Manatees and dolphins out your back door. Ample room for our boat as well. We will definitely be back!!🌴
