The property itself is beautiful, you look out the windows at the scenery, and you don’t really see any of the other campsites. The addition portion of this of this property, the fire pit I absolutely love. Deck has a little wear and tear, but appears to be very sturdy. It’s attached to an existing camper and turn into a residential property. It appears that all the campsites are set up this way. The older camper that it’s attached to is very clean, appears to be well kept with the only negative I have is a musty smell to this area. The dishes also had the smell, once re-washed after taking out of the cabinet, the smell is gone. Not sure of the source specifically, but all of the cabinets that were in the camper side have this smell. The resort recreational activities were as good to be expected being off-season, with the only catch is believe the hot tub was listed on this listing, but I’m not 100% sure, but it has been out of service for two years per resort staff. Kids loved, riding the horses, and the other activities. Also, just before leaving found that the drain underneath the kitchen sink was leaking notified the property manager who was quick to respond with out issue. I would stay again should that musty smell/issue be addressed.

Our stay was amazing. Perfect place for our family, the house felt just like home and the beds were extremely comfortable :) very close to Helen Ga. Mrs Tracy was very nice and very responsive to any texts or emails. She even help with giving information on things to do in the area. Highly recommended

My wife and siblings stayed for a family visit. We didn't use the resort's amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit and the home's many sitting areas, mostly outside as you see in the pictures posted on the listing. We can't comment on resort amenities, although the hot tub we're told is waiting for an inspection before they can allow access (heads up and inquire if you're planning on this, as we were). The other amenities seem to be in service. Tracy has a very nice place and we're planning on more visits to her home in the near future.

The home is a camper that has been incorporated into a very nice sized home. The decks, porches and views are wonderful! The place was very comfortable and a great getaway for a long weekend.

We had a nice stay. Everyone on the property was nice and helpful. We visited Helen, Dahlonega, babyland, and a couple of falls. We enjoyed the fire pit each night. The weather was perfect! Tracy and Allan were quick to respond when I had a question.

My family had a pleasant visit in Helen. The location was beautiful and quick commute. We also enjoyed a short walk to a waterfall located inside the resort and use of the indoor pool. Definitely will look this place up the next time we visit the area!

Trying to find the place was a bit tricky but once we had no issues after that. The home is nessled in trees and so tranquil. The house is nicely done. It had everything we needed to cook. There is plenty of room for a few couple and kids for sure. Everyone we came in contact with was super nice. Having access to the pool was wondering. Our stay was very pleasant and had no major issues.

*Read the entire description* we made the mistake of not reading it throughly Nd were suprised when we had to pay extra per day and per person to enter once we got there. Totallt our fault, not the host, for not readig it all. We woukd have still chosen to stay. We really liked this home. The layout was super confusing at first until we realized the original portion is an RV as required by the resort. It was a very comfortable stay, everything work3d wondderfully. The kitchen is simply stocked, so, if you cook a lot you may need to bring extra serving plates and spoons. I had to sweep and mop the day we got there, but, the hosts said they would deal with that with their cleaning folk. I would give it a 4.5 because of this. The amenities at the resort are super nice as are the poeople. We attended the sunday morning service, it was a traditional country service and the pastors message was great. Would stay again for sure!

Owners of the cabin are helpful and their cabin is nice. The resort which is separate, it needs an update for what they charge to use the amenities.

Came up to Helen GA to spend time with the kids, grandson and had a great time. Location was excellent and easy to get in touch with owners. Highly recommend anytime of the year. Thanks

We really enjoyed the stay. The house is in great location and very cozy and clean. We like the big deck in the woods. The only thing is that the owner didn't mention in the listing that we have to pay resort fee $8/person per day, so for two of us, $96 extra cost.

We were in town for a family wedding so we didn't have a lot of time to explore the property or much in the local area. However, our stay was a comfortable and quiet respite between wedding weekend events!

We loved the house. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the amenities were exactly as advertised. The outside deck was wonderful for relaxing in the evenings. It was close enough to Helen to enjoy all the activities but without the congestion. Lots of fun for my family and I.

Great centrally located spot. The apartment was clean and up to dated Tracy was a pleasure to work with, she provided all the necessary information for the apartment. She provided a list of local restaurants and activities to do with a young family. will definitely come back ..

The listing is very misleading. our group was extremely disappointed with the trailer/ house , the smell was overwhelming as if the place had not been used in months, not to mention cob webs in the bathrooms and a dirty bathtub. Our entire party left after a day and a half no one could stand the smell The resort as a whole was very outdated and not vacationer friendly . I would advise against this rental unit and don't bother with the resort

We had a wonderful time in Cleveland. The house was great! Allan was a fantastic host and attended to our requests very quickly. Enjoyed sitting on the deck by the fire. We all had a great weekend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the quaint mountain shadows lot C9. It was so cozy with eclectic decor. Everything was very clean. We loved the outdoor accommodations with the nice seating and outdoor heater. The common areas were spacious and ideal for our group to hang out. It was the perfect home away from home.

I will begin with thanking Werners for being good hosts. They were prompt in their communication always, which was helpful. This house is located inside Mountain Lake Resort which a hidden gem. Resort offers lots of great activities/amenities at a nominal price. Resort staff is worth mentioning. From security guard Tony to club house personnel Eleanor and Anna to Mary who was such a sweet Bingo hostess, all the staff went above and beyond in meeting any and all expectations. They were such a wonderful addition to our stay. House itself was way too smaller for my avant-garde house experience in USA. May be because it is close to German town, Helen, kitchen was particularly shocking. Convection oven was half the size of regular over and functioned very strangely. There is hardly any space in the kitchen to even fix/put together a meal, forget cooking. Greatest disappointment, THERE IS NO DISHWASHER! No one enjoyed cleaning dishes while on vacation. Floors were not very clean. Patio which looks so great in pictures and were really excited about, was absolutely dirty, We did not sit n the patio even once, since it needed whole lot of cleaning. We had a lot of fun at the resort, at Helen city and at Unicom State Park. Those are pretty close by from the house, within 10-15 mins. No hurt feelings Werners, but we are not staying there again,

This quaint little house has a surprising amount of room. Everything worked and large deck was wonderful in the evenings.
