Cabin was very centrally located for our day trips

We enjoyed every minute. Everything we wanted was close by. We were very content just staying at the cabin and enjoying the space inside and outside. Look forward to another visit.

House was quiet nice little piece of property road was rough but there were big rain storms before we arrived. Houses around the property vacant very run down. Overall nice little house to hang out have a fire and be with a couple close friends. We mostly were on the lake fishing in our boat

Contacting Steve is easy, the only thing I will suggest is that they need to get new mattresses (my back still hurt from that), and they need to get those mice’s out of the house, other than that is a nice place to stay.

Steve’s place is incredibly clean and well maintained, inside and outside. The woods surrounding the house are quiet and pretty. Games and Netflix made my kids happy. Great coffee machine and accommodations pleased the adults! Will definitely return!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night. We didn’t get to fully enjoy the place because of having limited time. However, the time that we did have there was very enjoyable. The house was very nice, quaint, cozy, and comfortable. Steve was very accommodating with enabling us to check in early. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our 5 days at the Bear Den. It was very relaxing, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill outdoors as well. A true pleasure of the location was being surrounded by birds and bird song during out stay.

The property was super clean, quiet and serene. We truly enjoyed our stay so much so that we booked again! The location is perfect we enjoyed the breweries and the beautiful lake. Anyone looking to escape should definitely check this location out!

If you like a quiet area with deer roaming around without an apparent fear of humans, this is perfect for you! The place has been updated and feels cozy. We both like how the living room was decorated to make it feel homey. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

It was so clean with adorable touches in the home! The patio was perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. It was close to everything, but quiet and relaxing. The shower was a bit small for larger people, but beds were very comfortable. The list of places to eat and explore was really helpful! We found so many great spots to eat!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Den - we didn’t have snow like we would have liked but it was such a cute little property. Being decorated for Christmas was an added bonus!

This property was very comfortable and clean. The little extra touches like rolled towels and candy on each bed were absolutley charming. You had wines available and fresh cold water in the fridge. It gave the whole place a very comfortable vibe.

The home is very well kept, quaint and was located very close to the venue we were attending. The owner had left a list of hot spots in the area, treats and other small niceties. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had fun keeping occupied inside. The weather was cold and rainy due to tropical storm, so we didn't get to do our outside activities we had planned. The cottage was decorated nicely with cute seasonal touches. Over all me and my friend had a nice stay

Very nice and cozy cottage to stay with a family of four near lake Wallenpapauck. Super clean and modern inside. Outdoors area is great - really like the firepit and the grill. Pretty close to everything at the lake. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Thank you, Steve.

The cabin was lovely and just big enough for the four of us. It was conveniently located close to everything at the lake. The owners communicated well and we really enjoyed our stay!

Clean & cozy gem in the forrest
Lovely cottage with great amenities. Super clean, updated space. Has a great deck & outdoor fire pit area. Inside is fresh, clean, with thoughtful personal touches. Offers convenient, well-stocked wine selection for purchase. Beautiful stone fireplace indoors (non-burning). Great communication from owners. Steve plowed the road quickly after a snow storm so we could get to our family party at another location nearby. Quick access to major roads. Very much enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

Perfect cottage for a romantic getaway!
We had the greatest experience renting this cottage. It was a perfect location- secluded but about 5-10 minutes from restaurants and stores. The cottage was perfect, and the hosts were so kind to us! Highly recommend.
