Excellent home, beautiful setting, fabulous wildlife to watch and just really relaxing. Thanks to the dock on the property it was easy coming and going on the lake. The hosts were wonderful with great communications and just really nice couple. Thanks very much for sharing your bit of heaven.

Dark, dirty, buggy, hot. Started with being stung by a nest of wasps in a window opening. Ants ate our chocolate cake. Slipped on goose poop on the dock. Holes in screen dirty furnishings shower floor was filthy. Outside was unusable trees have taken over. Table was covered in grease. Swing rope in the middle of the view from main room. Refrigerator did not work .

We really enjoyed our time here. Don’t overpack. They have most of what you need there. The hosts were very responsive to questions and there were no issues. The place is clean, well maintained, and undoubtedly loved. When you read the history of the place, you can’t help but adore and be amazed at every personal touch. The place has a very calm, tranquil artsy feel. We were able to dock our boat, fish, and relax the whole time. This is a definite gem.

The kids loved the stay here and ran from room to room looking at all the cool attributes of each. The house was so comfortable and right at the water inlet. Our fishing guide even picked us up from the dock! We will stay here when we come.back and highly recommend the property!

Had a great time with our two kids here- we had fun on kayaks and paddle boat and exploring in the ravine. Was our first time to clear lake and had a nice time! Lots of great things in the home made this place kid friendly!

We Loved our Stay at “The Dome” and are already planning our return. The Home is So Unique, Clean & Well Stocked. You can take in the Beautiful View while relaxing inside or outside The hosts were So Kind and promptly replied to any questions we had. Looking Forward to returning!

Plenty of parking for 3 trucks and trailers. Unique house, would be a cool spot for anyone looking to stay on the lake.

Our second year drought last year fishing was good this year water higher and tougher fishing but this year we caught catfish off the dock

Annual fishing trip, I think seventh property we’ve stayed at in past 10 years on CL. This was best and I write this, we’re scheduled to return in June to this house. Got to meet PJ and they were great. Location, contents of the house and cleanliness were first rate. Loved it

This is a very uniquely built property on a beautiful piece of land. The interior was spotless, and the outside accommodations for relaxing were plentiful. Initially, we were nervous driving up because we had heard it was going to be over 100° in Lakeport—and it was—but the front lawn and deck facing the lake were covered, by trees and roofing respectively. That allowed for a morning breeze to filter through for several hours in the morning to mid-afternoon to keep us comfortable. Also, the air conditioning inside worked extremely well. The lake had receded, as is typical for most Northern California lakes right now, so it did not at this time hug the property. Still, we had a beautiful view of the lake in the near distance, and every day we saw blue herons and osprey and raptors and deer within the immediately surrounding remnant inlets. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are two dining areas. There is ample room for parking on the property. The living room is well appointed and, from the chairs and sofa, you have a beautiful view of the lake through a large picture window. We definitely plan on returning.

The property was amazing! Family that came over on Fathers Day all had wonderful compliments of the home and even inquired about renting it again. The house was well equipped with everything needed and then some. The house is cozy and there was more then enough outdoor seating for a gathering. A few ventured out on kayaks provided with the house. Some spent time time bird watching and just watching the sun set. Paul was quick to respond when we needed some assistance with the cable TV. Overall it was a wonderful weekend and my dad was happy!

We could not have asked for a better rental experience. The Dome is a very well kept and unique home that had everything anyone would need during a visit. The Racine family has done an amazing job maintaining the property. The views from the living room are exceptional and worth the trip alone. Highly recommend a visit.

This property is in no an amazing location. The view is spectacular. Kid friendly and clean. The owners are easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Clearlake!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend at the Dome. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. The view from the living room was amazing. You can sit and watch all the birds from the couch. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We fit two families no problem.

My group and I had a great time at the house. Host where super helpful and very responsive. House is very well stocked with everything In the kitchen as well as everything in the bathrooms. The view from the living room is worth the trip alone. We will be back.

Really loved this property. The hosts were proactive and welcoming in all their communications. Though we had rain during most of our stay, we all loved watching the wildlife through the incredible picture window in the living room. The house was incredibly well stocked. It was perfect for our family of four but we could tell it would be great for larger groups as well. The setting right on the water was incredible and we look forward to returning someday when the weather is more accommodating. Highly recommend.

We needed a much family get away, my husband wanted to fish i needed a peaceful get away, when i mean peaceful and beauty this scenery is a story book painting, this place is perfect for family including grandparents.. my husband and teen jumped on the kayaks daily , went fishing , i pulled up a chair on the lawn and watched all the beauty around . From all the beautiful birds to fish jumping out infront of me !! What a sight. To family of turtles to the symphony every night from the frogs.. now the house was amazing pj and sasha thought of everything , down to tooth brushes , comfort , dishes pots pans everthing fully stocked, so if u forgot something it was here. I rent homes all the time . These two host where the most amazing caring .. i feel great we were your second guest to enjoy this paradise.. They have 3 dining areas outside . Gas and charcoal grill.We loved our stay . Will be back. Only thing i forgot and is very much needed is bug spray ! If out in the water. Thank u again pj and sasha

We absolutely loved our stay here! What a relaxing and beautiful place to be! Located at the end of a quiet lane, adjoining the water, the dome is only a few minutes’ drive away from nice restaurants, parks, and trails. It’s a spacious place with multiple beds, bathrooms, and seating areas inside … and a nice, big covered patio, yard, and dock area outside. The hosts are GREAT communicators who think of everything you might need (from kitchen utensils to games and books). Again … we loved it!!! 😊
