I went and stayed with friends and loved the place so much, I had to bring my mom, dad and brother back. They loved the home as much as I did. I cannot say enough great things about the host, the home and the views. 10 out of 10!

Some friends and I booked this house for one of our friend’s birthday. The house and host are equally amazing! Shannon was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond to inquiries. The house looks just like the photos. Newly renovated, very clean and nicely stocked. The area has a small town feel with enough stores and restaurants nearby to get anything you may need. We enjoyed the views of the bay while we ate on the deck and relaxed poolside the rest of the day. I cannot say enough great things about our stay. It was a perfect weekend with friends for the birthday girl and the rest of the group. Definitely a 10/10!

Upon arrival we were all amazed at the beauty! And walking inside this place is so comfy and has everything anyone could need. We got our things in and headed to the beautiful and clean pool. This place is immaculate and perfectly placed to things to do, we loved the space and how we needed for nothing in this place! The host has to be one of the best I’ve experienced and very accommodating. The whole family enjoyed the stay. We checked out dockside restaurant on our last night and that was a blast! Thank you for sharing your home with so many of us.

The house was perfect and the pool was also very clean place to stay the only thing missing would be a shade tree in the yard because it was very hot during our stay other than that 100 percent satisfied

We had a relaxing bday weekend at this quaint home. We enjoyed watching the swans, cooling ourselves in the pool and enjoying the town of colonial beach.

From the moment you drive up, you are in love with the property...you see the horses across the street and water view even from the front of the house! When you open the front door, you know you have started your vacation! Beautifully decorated open floor plan gorgeous home! You would think you are steping into a model home! Super cleaned! Perfectly decorated. The kitchen is big, the island is huge, the table is beatiful and you have a great view of the water. Both sitting area and living room are perfect. The master bedroom is beyond perfect! View of the water from your bed, bathroom is spacious. The 2nd master is comftable, the kids room is great. This house has EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED! The game room downstairs is phenomenal! Kids didn't want to leave lol Then you have the nice pool area, confy outside furniture, all with water view. You can also bbq in the nice size gas gril. The water was beautiful! We were lucky to have brought our kayaks! We had a blast. Kids also enjoyed playing basketball! I can not recomend this home enough! Loved it! Hope i can get to return. Oh...did i mentioned you are literally 5minutes from foodlion and McDonalds! Lol. You can't ask for a better location! Tons to do and near a lot of awesome places to go to! The owner is sooo sweet and is quick to answer any question you may have :-)

Lovely place; well maintained and appointed. Very clean and charming neighbors. Would stay again. Only complaint is the electric stove (not induction); controlling temperature is challenging.

We had an amazing stay with family. The view of the water on one side and the bucolic field with horses on the other is an incredible combination. Just moments from Colonial Beach and a short drive to other nearby towns, this place was perfect for us. We’ll certainly be coming back the very next chance we get!

There simply is not enough space to list everything right about this property and the experience. We arrived and were instantly impressed by the immaculate grounds (even in winter) and the absolute charm of the home’s exterior. The interior living/dining/kitchen/sitting room open floor plan was immaculately clean and exquisitely appointed. It combined excellent space and comfort. The amenities available in the home were beyond compare.

We were so thrilled with our stay. Shannon was so kind and responsive and went out of her way to make sure our family had a lovely time. We also enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of the neighbors. The house was immaculate and the waterfront location can't be beat. We enjoyed crabbing from the pier and kayaking too. We plan to return!

This property was even more beautiful in person! I think the host thought of absolutely everything that we could have possibly needed. There was a tropical storm, and she went above and beyond making sure that everything was taken care of. We definitely will be back! It was an overall wonderful experience. Thank you.

I celebrated my 40th birthday with family and friends and everyone loved the home. I booked this because of the pool and because it was off the water. The house is much nicer and bigger in person. The inside looks like a model house. Beautifully decorated. It had everything single thing you could possibly need at a home. Enough dinning material, enough tables, chair wine opener, pots beach towels…. I mean everything!! Shannon left a cute little note and chocolates. The neighbors were nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. All of my friends and family would love to come back to this place. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our first time at Coloniel Beach and we couldn’t have picked a better house. The views were amazing the house was beautiful and it had everything anyone could need to feel at home. I highly recommend and we will definitely be going back!!!

This waterfront property is a hidden gem not too far from DC. Shannon has everything that you would need for the stay. Kids enjoyed the pool, games and books. Will definitely stay there again.

The photos do not do the house justice. Very quiet area but near town. The fishing was ok. There are jellyfish in the water. Very small. The pool was great. We ate at Wilkersons seafood. The service was horrible. The food was ok. Buffet is overpriced. The dockside grill and tiki bar was our favorite. Would highly recommend.

The house was great, and it included a number of games and other things to do when the weather isn't great. Because if the weather is nice you'll want to be by the pool or on the water.

The property was accurately presented by the listing. Access to a private pool and still be waterfront were two selling points for us. We anticipate booking this property again in the future. Thank you very much.

The property is very nice, and very well outfitted. Kayaking there was great. And, I discovered I am an excellent air hockey player! It is also close to Westmoreland State Park which I highly recommend. A nice mid-week get away.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, offered boat dock and quick access, great private pool, and the home owner was very helpful with providing guidance.

We found the house to be perfect, clean, well, accompanied, swimming, pool, pier with tie up for Boat. Walking distance to town.

Fabulous home! Very spacious! Impeccable views! Horses out front and the Dock and Bay out back! Endless Birds and Fish! Most attentive Host! Memories were made and hearts are full! We hope to visit again next Spring!

Seven of us stayed here to attend a wedding. It is a beautiful house and very clean. The owner was very accommodating and responded very quickly to questions. I would stay here again.
