House was perfect. We koved the pool table, the screened in porch and sitting on the dock. They had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Absolutely awesome experience from booking through the stay to check out. This is our second year staying here. Great house for our large family. Amazing location in a private cove off a cove, allowed for the kids to swim and play with no risk of boats speeding by. It’s also just 100 yards from one of the cheapest gas pumps on the lake. Which is co-located with lazy waves, boat rental. This allows for easy pick up drop off and refueling of the boat without having to have a vehicle drive halfway around the lake. Great fishing right from the dock. My family and I are already planning next years trip and this time staying for a week. See you next year.

We stay at Murray or wateree 3 to 4 times a year. This house makes is at the top of the list. Everything was fantastic. Excellent location, very well kept house, Excellent host. Couldnt have asked for anything better. Would recommend to anyone.

My family members enjoyed their time at this property. While the house is somewhat rustic, as one might expect from a lake house, it has thoughtful decorations and improvements. The modernized kitchen served us well. And the house is well stocked with entertainment items. We enjoyed the use of the canoe and kayaks, and the proximity to Lazy Waves Pontoon Rentals, from which we rented a pontoon and tube. Our host Tonya was most accommodating. The proximity to Lexington and Columbia was a plus as was the house being pet-friendly. If we rent at Lake Murray again, we will consider this house.

This property is amazing! Second time we have stayed here. Tons of room and comfy beds. Nice bathrooms and the kitchen is great. The fenced in yard was ideal for bring the dogs! The location is awesome for fishing, and near a store/marina for ice and any items you need. Theres a drive thru bait shop and outdoor shop with in a 10 minute drive. The kids had a blast with the paddle boards in the day and the pool table at night. Did i say this is an amazing property!?!

Awesome location! It’s right on the lake and close everything. We came to town to go to the Masters. Played golf around the area. Wish we could have taken advantage of the lake more. Really enjoyed the pool table in the house and the screened in patio. Host is amazing!

I was there with my family / grandkids (five adults, 4 kids) and the place had everything that we needed. That was important because our timing was bad with the weather and it rained most of our trip! But our days on the lake became days on the screened porch and it was great. The house was well-stocked with board games, puzzles, pool table ... many fun activities for the kids, never got bored even with the rain! The kitchen was well-orgainized and had everything that we needed. Nice dock on a quiet private cove, but the marina is just around the next bend, very convienient. Would definitely like to return.

The house was perfect for our small family and we were very thankful for the last minute booking. Communication was excellent and anything and everything that we could have needed was at this home. Our boys really appreciated the extra touches with the Christmas decorations, too! Thank you so much!

Wonderful space for a family get together. Host was extremely accommodating and helpful, we really enjoyed the pool table, views and quiet street for walks. Plenty of room for all; beds were comfy and kitchen was well appointed. Will definitely want to come back

We had a great time at this amazing property! We were hosting family and this house made hosting easy. The kitchen and bar are spectacular, the backyard is fenced in for your dogs, what’s not to love? Check in was super easy. This is one of my favorite stays on lake Murray.

Visiting for the weekend to catch some Gamecock football and our stay couldn't have been more perfect. The location is cozy and quiet to enjoy personal time with friends and family!

Great place to stay! the addition of a pack and play would have been a plus, but the baby was fine in a nest on the floor. Lake and boats and marina, all was perfect! Loved the fire ring and the screened in back porch!!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Everyone we met was so friendly. The dock was great because we rented a boat and it was easy to dock. We had a couple meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us rent your house!

This is an annual trip with my extended family. We have stayed at Lake Murray on several occasions. This is the first time I have used VRBO, this is also the first time I have felt compelled to leave a review.I can’t think of A more perfect vacation for our group of 12. Starting with the check in process. I requested from the host an earlier check in time and she granted it, then she said all the information I needed to get into the house and get situated. The house itself was as pictured no surprises. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen because we cooked two meals a day for the entire group. Set up in the kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and very user-friendly, all the cooking utensils, Pots, pans that you would need cook for and to feed a large group such as ours. Plenty of counter space for prepping and serving. Because of the large group and the amount of cooking we did I contacted the host one time during our stay about the trash building up. She replied and immediately remove the trash, couldn’t ask for anything more . The location of the home is in a cove off of a main cove with the house sitting within a cove of its own. Perfect For all the kids to swim. It is also only about 100 yards from the cheapest gas on the lake which came in really handy with our boat rental. We will absolutely be looking to stay at this

This house is awesome! The perfect house for a long weekend lake getaway. My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July and had a blast. Boat launching was easy at the private marina located in the same cove. The dock was nice and private and our new boat was secure. The house was clean, the AC was cool, the kitchen was well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. Tonya and her husband were great hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house and view. Kids loved swimming off the dock and playing pool upstairs. Many spaces in the house and screened in porch for adults and kids to relax and reconnect. House well stocked and especially appreciated the s’mores sticks and life jackets.

Fun relaxing

My wife and kids, visited with another couple and there kids. Their parents tagged along and they had two dogs… Even with all that we had tons of room for sleeping, relaxing, and the kitchen was outstanding! The beds were comfy and we had plenty of blankets and towels. Being warm natured and seeing it was in the 90’s, i really appreciated that the a/c worked great also! The back “screened in” porch was perfect day and night. We saw deer in the yard several times!! I was surprised at no mosquitoes… we fished several nights from the dock bug free! The fenced in yard and easy water access made the dogs “life vacation dreams” become a reality! We brought our pontoon boat which fit nicely on the dock. I didn’t realize when I booked this property that, there’s a boat ramp basically next door. This made for easy and quick work of getting the boat in and out and get in the truck and trailer back to the house. Then we could refuel the boat right there! Beer, ice, whatever small stuff we needed. Another great bonus was the awesome outdoor shop less than 10 minutes away. It opens at six in the morning so you can get fresh live bait and get it on the water at first light! This is our first time at Lake Murray and found plenty of room to safely tube and swim even though it was a crowded weekend. We were able to beach at several of the islands, let the dogs and the kids play, while watching the sun go down.

We decided this year to get a lake house instead of multiple hotel rooms, we're so glad that we did! The house was amazing, clean and had everything that we needed. The area and view was great. We had a few hiccups but the issue was addressed immediately by management and fixed. Management was wonderful! We will definitely be returning and we highly recommend this property.

Being familiar with Lake Murray, we rented this property based on it's convenient location to Siesta Cove and ability to handle our group comfortably. The house came with everything we needed, from a well stocked kitchen to extra linens and towels. The kitchen and family area is large for entertaining, and the bedrooms have comfortable beds. We enjoyed playing pool and built a fire in the pit near the water for smores. We enjoyed watching the wildlife strolling through the yard from deer to all sorts of birds from the screened porch. The dock is nice and can accommodate two boats and even a little fishing. Our only issue was that the water would not stay on (turning off during showers/running the kitchen sink, etc) and kept flipping the outside breaker. The owner was prompt to respond to our call about the water issue noticed upon check in, by coming right over to try to troubleshoot; however the problem continued throughout the holiday weekend. The owner confirmed that she would work with us on a future stay once the electrical issue was repaired professionally. Otherwise, its a great house in a convenient location and I highly recommend for your family or group.

This was the first time we tried VRBO and and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was nice and clean and well stocked. Especially in the kitchen area. There were items that we forgot like spices and to our surprise they were in the cabinet. The surrounding was nice and peaceful. We sit on the screen in porch while we watched the lake , which was so peaceful. The only problem was that the weekend went too fast and we had to leave. It was a great place to celebrate our 1st granddaughter’s college graduation. Thanks for everything!

We rented the house when we were in town for a friend’s wedding. There was ample space in the house for all our friends to stay in one spot. The kitchen and living room area is all open and spacious for a large group to hang out in. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better space to spend our weekend in town for a wedding.

Having access to Lake Murray in such an amazing location and having access to kayaks truly made the experience peaceful and tranquil. Loved loved loved the screened in back porch for morning coffee! The updated kitchen was outstanding!! Perfect for a family. Spending hours playing around the pool table was the icing on the cake!! The property owners we’re amazing to work with. Sweet , great communication, and very thoughtful!!

Wow! What a great weekend! We really didn't want to leave. The house was great, the view, the Lake & area were exactly as listed. The owners were so nice to communicate with & made things extremely easy. We will be going back. 10/10

We very thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Lake Murray! From the pool table and the record player upstairs, to the spacious backyard, and of course, the lake, we always had something to do. The dock was lit with beautiful, automatic lights that came on at night. There was also plenty of room (and big bass) in the private cove for fishing! Tonya was a fabulous host and was very responsive. The kitchen was gorgeous and fully equipped for 2 people who love to cook. The rental was very clean, and bedding and towels were also very comfy. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun-filled getaway trip to the lake! We will definitely be back, especially in the spring and summer time.
