There was plenty of room for the six of us. The kitchen was easy to work in, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking. It was nice to have two bathrooms and our families had all the privacy we needed. The host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. The distance to Baxter State Park was convenient. We had a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 4 days and had a lovely stay. The entire house was spotless, there was everything we could need (except a pizza cutter, lol), and the beds were awesome. We would recommend this to anyone staying in Millinocket.

This was our second year at this property. House is impeccably clean, well stocked and nicely furnished. We spent a week here for snowmobiling and will defiantly be back!

Very Nice - beds were comfy, place was very clean, good location, great communication from owner - would stay here again without hesitation.
A couple of quirks (like figuring out how to start the dishwasher, no blinds on kitchen window and a very short ceiling over the stairs) made it interesting.

I was providing logistical support for five Appalachian Trail thru-hikers, which included shuttling them to and from the trail. The house was a great place for them to R&R before and immediately after summiting Mt. Katahdin. Everything was nice, but I particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.

As a vacation rental it doesn't get much better than this. It is apparent that the host is genuinely interested in your satisfaction.

We had a great time, the home is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a perfect location for Baxter State Park. We have some allergies in our family so don’t eat out much and the kitchen was fabulous for that. We have done several VRBO stays now and this one has by far been the best we have stayed at, we can’t wait to go back!!!

This is a well-renovated house with everything you will need for a comfortable stay in the Millinocket/Katahdin area. Kitchen is well stocked - everything is new and was selected for guests. This was our launch point for a July climb of Mt Katahdin. Easy in out - great response from host. Highly recommend.

It’s always difficult going back to Millinocket/East Millinocket as these days it’s typically for funerals. My family has deep roots in those towns. There are such limited options in the area for decent lodging, and I was traveling with my 85-year-old mother which presented another challenge. The accommodations were first rate: my skeptical (and often critical) mother even raved about the place! Centrally located, clean, well appointed, doesn’t get any better than that in Millinocket! Sorry to say, but I’ll be back…

We had eight adults stay for three nights. We hiked Katadin one day and White water rafted the next day. This was a very comfortable Basecamp for us. Loved the amount of bed space, very clean house, location to the park and we'll equipped kitchen. It was nice to have laundry available for our wet river clothes. We would recommend this house to friends coming to this area. If you are looking to upgrade this rental, a hot tub would have felt great after both of those days!!!!!

We had a great time in their the beautiful home. Had all the amenities that you need, and was well sorted. Very well maintained and clean. Communication was top notch! Anytime we reach out, very quick response.

We’ve used a few VBROs which have all been really nice. This property was perfect. We arrived in the evening before hiking Katahdin and the house was perfect for hanging out with the family preparing for the hike. The amenities in the kitchen were great for making breakfast and lunch for the hike. Very comfortable, clean and furnished for relaxing. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Gorgeous home base for Baxter State Park
We absolutely LOVE, LOVE this property! I don’t always write a review but my kids wanted me to for this home. The owners were on top of everything from communication to making you feel welcome the minute you step in the house. The air conditioning worked perfectly and every room was meticulous! The TVs in each room and recliners were a bonus our kids loved! The family also has a blast playing board games in the Sun room. We highly recommend this property!

Home away from home.
Kevin and Cathy are wonderful host's, everything was as promised. The property couldn't have been any better, the openness of the downstairs was awesome, the bedrooms where very spacious and comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, the outside area was as inviting as the rest of it.
If in this area, This is the where you need stay,
I know I will every time.

Show Choir Weekend
This place was perfect the communication from the owners and all the special extras that were included made our stay exceptional- did not need a thing - the kitchen is a dream and was so nice to be able to cook all the meals - and the beds were very comfortable- the drama crew gave it a “gold” star

First snowmobile trip of the year
The only thing that could have made our trip better is more snow. The house was perfect and the owners were great. I will definitely be coming back to this house.
