My wife and I spent a long weekend at Salty Sol in April 2023. The house has some age behind it but has been updated recently and looks just like the pictures represented on VRBO. Pool and surrounding area are immaculate. Interior had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Golf cart and bikes are great for getting around. Home owner was very responsive to us before, during and after our stay. Would definitely stay at Salty Sol again.

Had a great time at Salty Sol. House had everything and more. Would definitely stay there again. Overall couldn't of asked for a better vacation. And my dogs had a blast. The Island is very dog friendly.

Loved this home, the pool looked great but to cold while we were here. Loved cruising around on the golf cart and dining out at the restaurants in the area. The host even gives you some gifts, one being a gift card to a local ice cream shop, which we gladly used. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here. Can’t wait to come back!!

Weather was somewhat cooperative. Despite the rain, we found great food, and entertainment. Always something to do. The beach is a convenient walk. The island’s shoreline is beautiful and interesting.

The property was perfect for our needs and budget; nice, quiet spot, well appointed kitchen, and a great pool. We walked to the beach, and rode our bikes all over the island, including the beautiful state park. This is not a brand new house, but we found it clean and comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect and Craig was wonderful to work with.

We usually come to St George once a year with our adult children and this place certainly hit all the marks! The kitchen was fully stocked, rooms nicely furnished and the pool was a huge hit! We will certainly stay here again!

If you're thinking of visiting St George Island I highly recommend the Salty Sol. The pictures don't do it justice,it's much more spacious than it looks! Its mindfully stocked with everything you need and the decor is charming. The pool was the icing on the cake, great hang out spot after a day at the beach. The location is perfect, close enough to everything but still felt like you we're tucked away on a tropical island. This was our first stay at the Salty Sol but definitely not the last!!! We will be back. Thank you Craig and Carley for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Get to the island and you don’t need to crank the car again, take the golf cart everywhere, from the restaurant to the grocery store to the beach. This house is perfectly located to be a 2min drive to everything. The pool was a lifesaver with the August 105° heat index. The kitchen is very functional and stocked well with dishes and cooking utensils. We have stayed several places on the island over the years and this house will be the only one we choose moving forward. Craig texted me and had a quick response with any questions or concerns leading up to our arrival. 100% recommend this house !

What a cute place! The house was perfect (even too much space) for our little family. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and a 2 year old and our dogs. The teenagers had their own rooms and we still had 2 beds we didn't even use... plenty of room for more! The house was well stocked and I really appreciated all of the attention to detail. They even had a little goodie bag for us when we arrived! Every room had it's own tv, fan, remote for the lights/fans, bedside tables where you needed them, outlets where you needed them, makeup cloths, plenty of towels. The only little thing I would say it needs (because I have a teenage daughter) is a full length mirror. Such a super minor thing though. Having the golf cart there and not having to bring ours was great as well. The pool was perfect! The large tanning ledge was great for the 2 year old! It was a great home! We will see you again! Convenient to beach and town. Just a short 1/2 bike ride or golf cart to town center. The pool area was a blessing and the tanning area super nice for infants. The place was clean and stocked above average.

My family has been going to SGI since 2017 and this was one of our favorite places to stay! Easy access to the beach, bay side, local shops and restaurants -- with a private pool (which was a huge +). The Anderson's had the house stocked well. We are used to having to purchase or bring necessities, but thankfully we didn't have to buy more! Plenty of cooking appliances, bath towels, and games. Loved having the golf cart too! Everything was as listed. AND we were able to bring our pups! THANK YOU!! One of the best things was the ease of communication with Craig and Carley. Having hosts that are reliable and easy to connect with is a must. Thank you Anderson's for making a wonderful beach vacay home for us all! -- From the other 'Andersen Family'!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Salty Sol. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The pool is amazing, especially great for families with new swimmers because there is a platform that is shallow where they can sit and splash in with adults without needing floaties. We used the outdoor shower a lot and it kept a lot of the sand out of the house. Shower pressure inside and out was great. Kitchen had what we needed to make fresh seafood meals. Beds and linens were comfortable. No complaints on the house or island.

Nice location. Close to beach and wonderful new pool. The home was clean and clean comfortable. Nice that we could bring our dog. A nice addition would be a few beach chairs and umbrella. Otherwise, perfect.

Definitely not dog friendly, no grass, no where for them to use the bathroom. Back deck rotted and heel fell through, no privacy curtains in primary, furnace filter was filthy, dryer didn't vent outside, couches faded and uncomfortable, rugs dirty, outdoor furniture dirty, no blinds or privacy in the family room, kitchen or dining room, internet was horrible and owner scheduled maintenance while we were there without telling us. We came back from a drive to 4 men trying to get into the house. The pool and beach access were closed the entire week for maintenance, we were never made aware prior, place needs work. It's dark and depressing. In comparison, the week prior, we rented a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, 2 kitchen, 4 separate living quarters, ocean view, 1 acre of grass yard, and a private pool for $400 less on a nearby beach. Owners were made aware of everything while we were there and did nothing. They never made it right. Will never stay here again.

We loved this place. Quiet. Private. Perfect distance to ocean and bay, close to the additional beauty of the state park. Nice to be able to bring the dog. Pool was lovely! Communication with owners exceptional.

Owners were great when asked for recommendations in the area. Location is a short walk to beach. Everything very lovely. Friendly islanders. Home was comfortable and well stocked. We loved staying on St. George Island!

This is a comfortable clean place, roomy and with a very nice large deck in back. The decor is plain, but this makes it a good place for young kids and dogs. It is over a block from the beach but is straight down from a public access path. There are only 2 bathrooms - 2 bedrooms share a bath.

The place was absolutely beautiful and my family and I enjoyed our stay very much. We had some hiccups not in the control of the owner but he was amazingly eager to correct it. I appreciated his efforts tremendously. I would most definitely rent again. Love this place!

5 min walk to the beach and trails on the bay side. Plenty of space and a quiet neighborhood. Looks like the pool will be a nice addition.

The house is located in a nice quiet part of SGI. Home layout was just right for our needs. There were no hand soaps or enough toilet paper for the weekend which we had to go out and buy. Kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals.

Had a great time. The house was close enough that the beach was easy but also far enough away that it was quiet. Very clean and well appointed.

Was a very good stay for us. We really appreciated how close it was to the beach and still walking distance from most of the shops. Perfect for what we were looking for! Hosts were very responsive and helpful.
