My husband and I absolutely loved this property that is part of a well preserved and gorgeous Queen Anne -Victorian home. We needed an escape to focus on writing our novel, and we had the quiet we required in addition to the beauty of the property itself when it was time to come up for some air. We will definitely come back!

This is our second visit to the Top of the Hill cottage and it is just as charming as the first time. It is such a quiet and calm environment created by hosts, Mark and Ashley. The little touches leave a welcoming mark on one's heart. We felt secluded sitting on top of the hill and enjoyed the variety of wildlife, including squirrels and deer. If you desire to stay at a beautiful and serene location in Weatherford, this is it!

Absolute dream stay. The house & grounds are like something from a fairytale. Checkin & checkout was a breeze. Close to all the fun & shops downtown. Owners were quick with all communications.

This is a great place to stay. We were just there for one night. We will come back and spend a weekend.

Despite the searing heat, Top of the Hill was cool and lovely. The pool is just feet from my door and Ashley makes sure your visit is comfy. This beautiful Victorian is perfectly maintained.

We wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. The room looked just like the pictures. The place was immaculate. The property was just gorgeous. It was a little slice of paradise close to the downtown area but felt very secluded. We saw deer every day. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect property for two! We stayed 3 nights as it was close to a wedding venue for our nieces wedding. It exceeded our expectations- so very very clean, wonderful outdoor quiet space with pool and Ashley replied immediately to our messages! We also really enjoyed Chandor Gardens just blocks away from the property! A++

Beyond my expectations, this beautiful and immaculately maintained Inn is a jewel. The owners, Ashley and Mark, seem to have thought of everything in terms of providing what you need, including privacy. I will return.

It’s a beautiful old home with some updates, the property is well maintained. I stayed in the 1 bed / 1 bath bottom apt. It was comfortable and peaceful, a great place to relax. Ashley and Mark live in the main home and are visible at the property. They’re good people. Definitely where I’ll stay on my next trip.

Hubs and I decided last minute to run away for the July 4th holiday and we found this wonderful place. The whole property was gorgeous! Ashley was very attentive. We enjoyed the pool, and we had the most perfect view for Weatherford's fireworks display from their yard. And we personally loved the blackout curtains, as we like to sleep in the dark! We highly recommend the Top of the Hill.

The room is perfect for a couple. King bed was so comfortable and sheets were the softest. My husband even commented on the sheets The fridge is perfect size for drinks and snacks. Enjoyed sitting outside on the patio having espresso to the welcome day. Plus when you live in the city you forget you can actually see the stars at night. We enjoyed walking around the grounds admiring the Victorian home it is breathtaking. Quiet area and easy access to the town. Plus the note from Ashley was the sweetest personal touch and welcoming, it’s the little things that mean so much. 10 review!! Thank you so much.

Instead we had the smaller room #1 below the house. It was clean and worked well for just the 2 of us. And of course, the price was good too. I just thought we were getting an outstanding off-season deal for the cottage. PS a closet and dresser would be helpful

My sister and I came here for a girls weekend!! It was perfect! Ashley was the sweetest host!! She checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything!!! So thoughtful! The room was so beautiful and so clean!! We will be back for sure!!!

My husband and I traveled to Weatherford to visit his son who had recently moved there from California. We have not visited this area before and were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful community. Speaking of wonderful, Ashley (Host) and this property were just that. Ashley was friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the whole process--from reservation to check-out. The property was as described. It is quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Snacks and bottled water were waiting for us upon our arrival. The grounds and neighborhood are so quaint. We will be returning and we plan on sharing this property with family and friends who will be visiting soon. Thank you Ashley for an amazing relaxing stay. You made us feel welcome.

Very clean quiet cozy place in Weatherford. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Very friendly host. A perfect place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!
