This property was a recommendation from family who enjoyed their stay, but we were amazed at our good fortune from the time we opened the front door! The house is immaculate, beautiful, with so many personal touches, the landscaping is perfect, the view from the entire back of the house is gorgeous and we have never stayed in a house that is so well stocked with EVERYTHING you might need; you just have to think of it and it is there. The welcome basket is such a nice, personal touch and we felt right at home. Honestly, we can't say enough good about how this property and how it made our time at Bear Lake perfect. Thank you Stringhams for being such excellent hosts.

The Blue Lake Retreat is a property we will definitly stay in again. The home itself was in pristine condition, and so welcoming in appearance. The layout was well thought out, providing four separate private areas of the home. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. The back deck view was amazing, looking over the Bear Lake Golf Course, with a view of Bear Lake in the distance. The landscaping was immaculate. Our family loved spending time in the backyard, and enjoyed peacfeful evenings around the firepit enjoying the gorgeous sunsets. The location was fantastic, just minutes away to Ideal Beach, the Pickleville Playhouse, and Garden CIty. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This was the second time we stayed here. It’s a beautiful well kept home. It was perfect for our adult children and our grandchildren.

Outstanding property...beautiful house, new, roomy, very clean, so many amenities, everything promised in the description and to top it all off, a welcome basket filled with treats! The view of the golf course and Bear Lake is spectacular! There was so much for everyone to do. We all loved every minute of our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

This house was immaculately clean and organized! We loved all the available space, we were able to have a little sleeping area for each of our families. The outdoor area was gorgeous and the view in the back was perfect - a view of the lake and a view of the green mountainside. We loved having the option to go to the Ideal Beach resort - we loved doing the mini golfing. The kitchen pantry was well stocked. The kids loved the under the stairs play area and the outdoor games they had. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was exactly as advertised including all the little extras. The hosts have provided everything and then some. The access to ideal beach was perfect. We had kids ranging in age from 9 to 18 and all had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

We loved this house so much and it was perfect for our family gathering!! We had a group of 12 adults and 3 small children and everyone had plenty of room to visit and sleep and enjoy each other. The house itself is beautiful and so clean. The location on the golf course is great and we loved the access to Ideal Beach to swim, play on the beach, rent wave runners, etc. As has been mentioned, the owners have thought of every detail and we enjoyed them all- s’mores fixings for the fire pit, welcome basket and fresh flowers, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen (we cooked all of our meals at the house), beach gear, golf carts for golfing (we played a fun scramble), etc. I could go on and on. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay- we will definitely be back!

This property was perfect for our large family!!! We comfortably slept 21 people and had people come visit and hang out during the day and we never once felt crowded in the home! The open concept definitely helped with this! The rooms were great sizes with comfortable beds, the pantry was stocked with a lot of things we needed, and everything ran and worked wonderfully! We didn’t seem to run out of hot water with the endless showers after the beach, which was great for our large family! The balcony overlooks the golf course and beyond that you can see the beautiful houses, lake, mountains, and skies! The house felt perfectly clean when we arrived & sheets smelled of that just-washed scent, which we really enjoyed!!! The fridge in the garage helped hold all of our food and drinks that didn’t fit inside! The gift basket that was there when we arrived was a nice touch and everyone loved it! The many windows allowed for a lot of natural light to come in, but they shaded helped keep the sun out when closed. The golf carts were fun to drive around the neighborhood & the access to ideal beach was the cherry on top!! The beach there never felt crowded and we enjoyed mini golfing, the little store, and ice cream shop! We will definitely we back to this home again!!

The home looked like we were the first people to occupy it. (We weren't) It was immaculate. Everything was first class. The kitchen was equipped with quality items and all were large enough for a crowd. Landscaping and location were delightful.

Can’t say enough about how amazing this property is! This place looks even better in person. Great personal touches, and so clean and comfortable. This is a wonderful property right on the golf course with a beautiful view of Bear Lake! We enjoyed our stay very much! The entire house was so nice and well supplied with everything needed including an extra fridge in the garage! We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area including the fire pit after returning from a fun-filled day on the beach. We loved the flowers and welcome basket! Everything was great! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This year was our family's 13th year at Bear Lake. We have stayed in multiple homes and condo's over the years. Blue lake Retreat is without question the best place we have ever stayed. Jeffery's built and furnished a home with everything you need to feel like its your home. There were fresh flowers in a vase on the table and snacks to greet us. Waffle mix and syrup, coffee, a hot chocolate with marshmallows, spices, cooking oil etc. etc. The view from the deck over looking the 2nd tee box is incredible. The beds were lights out. Everything was spotless. This is truly a 5 star + home. Thanks Jeffery!

Agreed by all in the family, this was by far THE best vacation we have taken so far when renting with VRBO. We have stayed on the Beach in Pacific Beach, in Casa De Oro, Ramona, and Lake Tahoe, CA, Bandon, OR and Estes Park, CO and who knew that this gem was just 2 hours away from our home! This house was super clean, bright, and welcoming. The owners were very gracious leaving a welcome gift basket with local fare and golf balls, a hot cocoa bar on the counter and S'More fixings for the gas fire pit. We cooked all of our meals at the house and they have every utensil, plate, platter, bowl, pan, cookie sheet you could possibly need as well as griddle, Crockpot, Kuerig, toaster, BBQ, etc. The layout of the house was exceptional for everyone's privacy and gathering. WiFi was superior and the high -definition televisions in each bedroom was also a nice addition. Upper and lower decks were used every morning for coffee and meals and watching the family play Cornhole in the evening. The ping pong table (located in the garage along with beach chairs and boogie boards) was used to build a puzzle on and they had at least 12 folding chairs to gather around the table. We had 4 golfers in the family so on Monday they golfed using carts that are also provided for the guests to use on the Bear Lake Golf Course. (The home sits on the 2nd tee of the golf course.) The passes to a private beach was definitely a bonus. We used them every day. The kids rented everything that was available including the water trampoline! Every evening we would drive into town for the famous raspberry shakes too! What a treat! We can't say enough about the property or the owners Jeff and Shawna as I could go on and on. We will definitely book this property again.

This is definitely the best place we have ever stayed at- Everything was perfect & the house was beautiful!! Every possible detail was taken care of. Our family loved our annual getaway & on our last day there, we actually booked our trip for next year!

This is an extraordinary property with beautiful views of the golf course and Bear Lake in the distance. We loved having access to the facilities of Ideal Beach Resort only a short distance away. The owner made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect and communication with him was easy and he responsive. We were able to create some wonderful memories because the property was clean, spacious, and had easy access to variety of activities. The biggest question we faced with our party of eleven is “When are we coming back?”

This property was perfect for our extended family weekend vacation. The home itself was immaculate! The home was furnished and stocked with the best of everything. I have NEVER experienced a vacation rental as accommodating as this. We were so impressed

Beautiful new and clean home just a few houses off the paved road. Due to smoke, the lake was hidden, but it would have been a great view. So glad we had the beautiful golf course view to enjoy even in the smoke, we chatted with most golfers on the 2nd hole, everyone is so friendly. Our golfers loved the carts and easy access to the course. The beds were new and very comfortable. The house has EVERYTHING you need: smores fixings, coffee, tea, kitchen essentials and small appliances, games, beach chairs, umbrella, extra fridge, 2 golf carts, white fluffy towels, awesome Turkish towel beach towels we also used as blankets and mosquito screens around the camp fire, 3 passes to Ideal Beach, washer/dryer. We also enjoyed the generous gift basket. We didn't have a baby but the upstairs master walk in closet would have been perfect to put up the provided play pen for one. Everyone slept great and woke up happy which is not always the case due to uncomfortable beds and sheets in many places we have rented. We cannot wait to stay here again!

We had an amazing family vacation. We had a very eventful 4 days. We celebrated a daughters birthday and watched from the balcony, our youngest son propose on the golf course. We loved being right on the golf course and look forward to coming back to this beautiful home. The view was amazing! Host was great and we give this home the highest possible ratings!!!

Brand new awesome house for vacation! We had a great time at the house. The owners have thought of and supplied everything you need. Some things which were not obvious from the listing: 6 bedroom and 4 baths, fully supplied kitchen, extra fridge in the garage, beach chairs and umbrella, 2 boogie boards, fixings for s’mores, waffles. This place had it all. Unlimited access to Ideal Beach was awesome! The owners are on it and very responsive! The golf carts were a great bonus!

Best hosts I have experienced! Greeted by cute welcome signs and flowers. Right away you feel at home. They don’t leave a long list of things you can’t use but instead welcome you to use everything. We loved our stay and plan to go back!

We had a family vacation with a variety of ages and it was perfect for everyone. It was fun being on the golf course- perfect to start out on the course with two supplied golf carts. We used the ideal beach access everyday- for the pool, the beach, the large grassy area and the pickle ball courts. And the house itself was clean, well-stocked with kitchen items and a few games for kids, lots of blankets and towels, and even s’more supplies. Would come back!
