The view from every window is amazing you are right on water. We watched the stunning sunrises every morning from our bed as we drank our coffee. I fever want to stay in same place twice but already planning another trip.

The cottage was very clean and cozy and the views were beautiful. Had a great time and would book again!

The home was clean and the view from the living room and primary bedroom was just breathtaking. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A great place to unwind and enjoy the fall colors.

The house was well taken care of, the decor was great. The views out the windows was fantastic. We really enjoyed the home. It was a perfect size for the four of us. Enjoy the fireplace, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night and really enjoyed the loons, ducks, geese in the bay every day, we would love to return and stay in the same home

The cottage is lovely and well appointed. One can easily decompress by just watching the birds and the tidal flow from inside the cottage or in the peaceful backyard. The busy road deters walkability and there is a some road noise in the bedroom on that side of the building.

Very nice house, great waterfront location, very comfy beds

This home was immaculately clean and extremely well appointed with tons of kitchen equipment and glassware/plates. The queen beds are really comfortable. The only (minor) complaints are that there could be a shoe tray or two to try to keep the gravel and dirt from getting on the floor near the door (we took our shoes off every time, but it was easily scattered) and the shower stalls are pretty small. The view into the cove/harbor is better than a postcard. We will definitely be staying here again.

Unbelievable views, well appointed, comfortable sleeping and seating options. Easy to find and in a great area. Served as home base for our daily excursions around the state. Best coffee views! Road noise took a bit to get used to but views made it worth the stay.

The perfect place to explore all the beauty of the Maine Coast! The cozy cottage was immaculately clean with comfortable, coastal décor and furniture. The expansive harbor view from the front windows kept us entertained with sea birds, lobster boats and an ever-changing display of sky and water. We hiked in Camden Hills State Park, toured numerous light houses & Maritime Museum in Bath, rented e-bikes to bike the carriage roads in Acadia National Park, discovered the amazing gardens at Mid-Coast Botanical Gardens. Ideal couple's adventure vacation!

Our visit could not have been more perfect!! The home was beautiful and very well appointed. The home is located right on the oceans edge and the views were breathtaking and just so relaxing! The cottage is close to Tenants Harbor, Port Clyde and only a 15 minute ride to Rockland. Plenty of wonderful restaurants and activities nearby. We highly recommend this property and we look forward to coming back!!

This cottage was SO ADORABLE! The decor was very stylish and modern and it was very well maintained. Very clean as well!! It had all the kitchen appliances we needed to cook homemade meals and the beds we VERY COMFORTABLE!! The icing on the cake was the view! The view was amazing and the cottage is located in a gorgeous neighborhood. Enjoyed walking around and visiting the local market, bakery, and restaurants. Lastly, the communication with Vacasa was EXTREMELY EASY!!! Will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our trip very much. First, the good. This house is big enough for our party and is kept very clean. The sofa and lounge chair are comfortable. All-around windows bring in cool breeze and stunning views. Kitchen is adequate for some light cooking. There are nice sitting areas outside facing the ocean and you can lean back and enjoy the view to your heart's content. If you are into stargazing, you will not be disappointed. The nightly sky reveals itself like sparkling beads worn against a black velvet dress. Second, the not so good. We visited during busy vacation season and that could be the reason why the service was a little lacking. We found only one roll of paper towel and no dishwasher detergent even though Vacasa (property manager) suggests us to start dishwashing upon leaving. Message about towel and detergent via Vrbo went unanswered. We just went out and bought the missing items ourselves. Also, the paper towel’s quality was so poor that it broke down on contacting anything wet. Small matter, but it does impact the experience overall. The table and chairs match kind of esthetically. But the chairs are too low for the table (even for adult male of average height) and it is hard to sit and have a meal or play board games comfortably.

We absolutely loved this little cottage, so much so, I wish I could take it all home with me. The cottage was light filled and comfortable. I loved the blue and white decor. The outside area had many different choices. I sat out with my coffee every morning, and we enjoyed cocktails out on the Adirondack chairs. I also very much appreciated the air conditioning, as it was an unusually hot week in Tenant's Harbor and there was hardly a breeze to be found. I would highly recommend this cottage and we will be back!

We loved this great house and location!! So comfortable and was everything we needed for a relaxing vacation in Maine. The view was a bonus and we enjoyed the backyard very much!! This was a great community and nice people everywhere!!

The rental was a great experience for our first time. It was very clean and beautiful decorated. The view was incredible.

The house is lovely - lots of windows for sunlight, clean, and beautifully decorated. We had a great time. House is, however, VERY close to the road and lawn wasn't mowed until late Sunday (we arrived Friday and were scheduled to leave on Monday) which made lawn games a bit tricky.

The view is breathtaking! I just couldn’t stop staring out the windows! Kitchen is stocked with all the gadgets you need including a lobster pot! The dish and laundry soap are an appreciated addition. I just wish there were kayaks for use! Other then that, no complaints! Would love to return!

We loved our stay at The Salty Cove cottage! The space was neat as a pin and had wonderful modern updates and charming coastal decor. We had everything we needed for the most part. The only thing we needed and didn’t find was a pizza pan. We loved how comfortable the beds and living room furniture were. The real star of the show however, was the view. It’s just stunning! I loved waking at sunrise to look at the water and drink coffee. My husband and son really enjoyed checking out the tidal pools. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at to date!

Family of four with two adult children decided to take a quick getaway for a few days to midcoast Maine. Waking to the sunrise over top the water outside the master suite was a dream, like waking on Christmas morning…pure magic and peace. Although located along a somewhat busy road, the ocean side was such a treat, just steps away, that an escape was easy. The home was beautifully decorated and so clean and easy. Comfy beds, hot showers, washer and dryer…all made our stay lovely. The tenants harbor general store provided us with everything from hot coffee and fresh pizza to blueberry wine and live lobsters! Be sure to drive down to Marshall Point lighthouse and check out all of the little nooks and crannies along the way. We found local treasures at every turn, even in March when many places remained closed for the season. Coming “home” to this vacation property was always a joy after days full of food and fun. We will be back! Thank you so much.

Only 2 complaints. Took several days to get a reply to an email I sent from the VRBO site between when I booked and our stay. And, we did not get the email with the key code information until after we had arrived which was very unsettling after driving an hour plus to get there. Other than that it was wonderful. The cottage was sparkling clean, very comfortable and beautiful. Everything you could need in the well stocked kitchen and laundry room. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. And it truly was just steps to the harbor. It was literally in the back yard. The views were spectacular, even in fog and rain. Hiking trails close by and just down the road a charming little store that seemed to have anything we needed. They aren't kidding when they say only room to park 2 cars at the cottage so plan accordingly. We will definitely book here again. Me Aybe summer or fall next time rather than March.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It was impeccably clean and orderly. The views are fantastic!! I was able to watch a winter storm dump about 2 feet of snow and it was a sight to see. There was a slight hiccup with a frozen shower pipe due to the weather but the team was Very responsive and had someone out right away to remedy the issue... a very nice local man who had some great stories of the area. This place had everything you needed for convenience, but bring a white noise machine if you have someone sleeping in the 2nd bedroom. The road is close, not annoyingly so but you can hear cars if that's something that will bother your sleep. I loved this place and hope to visit again in the future! Thank you so much. Jillian
