The room we were eventually given had a spectacular view over the bay….. The breakfast was very good and freshly made

The room was messy and hadn’t been cleaned or bed made. Had to make our own bed and limited clean towels and rubbish still in unclean toilet. Two different servers for breakfast and both forgetful. Asked for Juice, only came when pestered. Asked for more coffee, never came….. Spoke to owner who actually knew of the issue but didn’t come to apologise

Lovely location with excellent views of the bay. Very friendly and accommodating staff and excellent breakfast. The Quarry Pub is an added bonus with very good food and drinks.

Our room faced the fishing pier and was very noisy every morning starting ~4:30 as fisherman started their day. Although interesting I would not recommend staying in one of the rooms facing the pier. Additionally, one of the drawers on the dresser in our room fell off when we went to open it and one of the hinges on our rooms door was hanging off. These are small things but leave an impression that basic building maintenance is not a focus.

Location is spectacular! Rooms vary (we had 3) but are country comfortable. Breakfast is superb!’n

A few rooms were rather spartan. Stairs can be a problem for older clients (though their listing mentions them).

Having breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the harbor was such a beautiful way to begin the day. It really made us happy. We even enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening after the sun went down.

There was some lack of communication between booking.com and the hotel that led to us having a room with 2 double beds rather than a queen. We pushed the beds together and were fine, but at that price point, we should not have had to deal with that.

nice view from lawn in front though only 4 chairs, covered with grass clippings. Under new, absentee ownership, this is not the place it once was.

Beautiful view! Harbor was busy with fishermen coming and going. Bathroom was huge! Great breakfast!

The bed was a little too hard for me and room was a bit small.

Room was small and cramped. Some of the important hotel services, especially their on site tavern was not operating.

peaceful and beautiful waterfront. The breakfast was delicious, servers very good . The building is quaint and original in a good way. We used the common living room and enjoyed the deck .

Next visit I’ll upgrade to a bigger room.

Location- new owner- so much potential and hope the best for the new owner's. Love the little town, the view and local store. More of a bed and breakfast without a full breakfast ( off season). 7/10 for off season rates 50% so it served us well as base camp.

Off season was limited for local eats but Rockland had plenty to offer 20 minutes away. Room was spacious but noisy for sleeping- and mattress and pillows needed updates. No heat control in room- room across the hall controlled it.
