This place will be my go-to for any Ruidoso trips. A couple minor things that are easy fixes--the garbage disposal was not working and the kitchen sink stunk and the dining room needs a lamp so there's better lighting in the evenings. The views cannot be beat. Location was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful house!!

This property was dreamy. The view out of the terrace was astonishing, the little twin beds above the kitchen were adorable, and the deer visiting each morning made the entire experience feel like a dream. We were able to share the cabin with friends and our kids made many wonderful memories.

We had a wonderful time. The location was great, scenery and surroundings we enjoyable. Watching birds off the deck was an added bonus!

The house was beautiful with a lovely view. Very clean with comfortable furnishings. We would stay there again. However, my only caveat to other renters is that the master bed was not very comfortable for us, as it was one of those beds that requires a step ladder to get into and had the kind of foam mattress that dips on either side, pushing you towards the middle. We’re a bit of an older couple so it’s possible others wouldn’t mind that as we did. Also, the property owner was very upfront about the amount of amenities provided, but it would have been nice if they had been a bit more generous as to some of the creature comforts provided (only one hand soap provided for three sinks, no body wash for the showers, no additional trash bags, etc.). For such a beautiful and not inexpensive home, it would have been nice to have those items provided. But overall, it was a beautiful property, very clean and well maintained, and we would stay there again.

The house itself is nice. The view is stunning. The bathrooms were spotless. A broom was provided to sweep up the old, dried food from under the front of the stove. The feather duster provided was not adequate for dealing with the thick dust on all of the baseboards and lamp shades, or the cobwebs on several of the walls and corners. This property is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. As for the king-sized bed, people need to understand that memory foam mattresses break down, and get softer and softer until laying on them is like falling into a hole. This mattress should have been replaced a year ago. My wife and I were here for our 20-th anniversary, and wound up sleeping in different rooms just to some sleep on a somewhat comfortable bed. If they do some serious cleaning and update the king mattress, it would be a 5-star.

This cabin was perfection! We fell instantly in love and enjoyed the beautiful cabin, it’s amazing views, and the location. We will definitely come again!

The house is in a great location . Only a few minutes from hiking , shopping and restaurants . The house is not as remote as the pictures suggest , however the location was very peaceful and we saw deer and horses in the neighborhood . I would stay here again !

We absolutely loved the view from the deck! The AC worked very well, keeping the house cool. We didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped if we had chosen to do so. The house was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. We loved the property and will definitely keep it in mind for the future!!

Nice views, comfortable beds and a very nice deck! Living room got fairly hot during the day.

The pictures are a little misleading about the location, but it was quiet and very pleasant overall! One of the propane tanks was empty and the cobwebs are ubiquitous, but again, it was pleasant and comfortable. Hummingbird is also very easy to deal with!

My family and I enjoyed the beautiful view and the fire pit. We had a good time how ever the house didn’t feel clean since the floors were not swept well and we had to do some swimming up on arrival the blinds were very dusty, cleaning crew could do better. There were spider webs everywhere, we understand that ceilings are high but with a high ladder that could be cleaned up. A Suggestion is to maybe have a pest control company take care of that since we also saw a few spiders crawling around. We also wished there was better frying pans, there was only one we could use that was semi good. The yard needed some cutting since there were some tall weed that had thorns that would get stuck all over your clothes.

The view was amazing! We wish we would have been able to enjoy the deck more but Ruidoso was soooo windy! The spot was great and had what we needed. Wish there was a hairdryer. All in all was a perfect place to stay. Only downfall is in the summer it is difficult to cool living room due to big windows. Otherwise is 10+
