Stayed here as a central location for riding motorcycles in the mountains of West Virginia. Very impressed with the property. Everything was clean and organized. The little extras, such as food seasonings and the "if you forgot something, please take one" bucket of toiletries showed a great attention to detail and forethought for the needs of guests. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was always friendly and polite in her replies. Going to have to plan a meetup here again sometime.

We brought a cross country team into Snowshoe for a week, everyone really enjoyed it and a great stay. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Above the Ridge. It was perfect for two families (9 people total) with plenty of room to spare. It was close to the bus stop, silver creek and snow tubing. We would definitely stay here again. It was almost heaven!

Our family of 12 found this to be perfect for our stay! The ski room was great for keeping everyone’s gear organized. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and the fireplace! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals. Communication with the host was easy, she was helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! There were 16 of us in our group and found the layout of the townhouse to be perfect for our needs. The bunk room was perfect for our kids/teens. The 4 couples shared the additional 4 bedrooms. The ski storage room is wonderful! We loved the cubbies so that no one’s stuff was getting mixed with others. The boot warmer/dryer is a bonus! The kids especially loved the game room with enough options to keep everyone entertained. The beds and pillows are super comfortable and we loved the plush bedding! Very cozy. The morning after we arrived, we discovered that the oven was not working properly. Nina and Brandon immediately came to the rescue! They drove up from Georgia with a brand new oven that very day! They also offered to treat us to pizza for our inconvenience. What amazing hosts to go so far out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be renting from them again!

This property was the perfect place for our family of 12. The mudroom as you walk into the home had a great drop zone for all our ski clothes and equipment and helped keep order to everyone’s items throughout our stay. There was space in the home to accommodate everyone from kids to grandparents. And the ultimate bunk room downstairs was a big hit with the teens and pre-teens. There were several times we turned on the fireplace in the family room and watched the soft snowfall come down outside. Our group also enjoyed the hot tub on the back patio, even during those snow falls! The location was ideal with the shuttle stop just a short walk from the house, and we were able to easily access both Silver Creek and Snowshoe's Main Village. Nina was a wonderful host and proactively communicated with us along the way, anticipating all our needs. She even reached out to share information about special events happening in the area during our stay. We look forward to returning very soon!

We stayed for the World Cup MTB races and had a ball. This place is REALLY well thought out for a group. On a side note, it also had great access to riding trails from the front door, and although this was a "Ski" house, it worked super for bikes and bike gear too.
