You could not ask for better. House was immaculately clean when we arrived. Everything was exactly as pictured, and you could not ask for a better location. Close enough to everything for convenience but far enough away for quiet. Kitchen was very well stocked and starter supplies were very generous!

The house worked great for our family of 4 couples. Right on the beach. Was what the listing said. Would of been nice if kitchen supplies were furnished like salt, pepper suger and garbage bags but other than that had a great time.

Great house with spacious kitchen and wonderful access to the water with beach from back yard to the water. Lots of bedrooms to accommodate all 10 of us plus more. Well kept and comfortable with a great view of the water from the living room.

Everything was great except the TV reception in the bedrooms. Not a big deal as the beach location was the prize.

The home has been renovated and decorated with a comfortable beach vibe. We loved the two refrigerators in the kitchen. The house accommodated our large family group. It was clean with adequate towels and linens.

We have taken an extended family beach trip for 25+ years. We have always gone to Destin, but were ready for a change. This home did not disappoint. Plenty of room for 12 adults to spread out! The beach was just steps away. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and it was close to lots of great restaurants when we didn’t want to cook. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great home, as advertised. Great for a big family, even though we only had 5 people there. Worked great for us.

Wave Dancer is a perfect beach location. We had a party of 11 and had plenty of room. The house was clean and well stocked and right on the beach. We could sit in the living room, which had tons of windows and see the sand below and the beautiful gulf. My only complaint is that the house needs a little TLC. If you have little ones, watch the bottom deck as it has boards sticking up and a few nails that need hammered back in. Also check the sand area as you step off the deck. We found 3 long sharp screws. Wish the 2nd floor patio had a table to go with the chairs. We would have loved to have eaten out there. It does have 6 nice bar height chairs though. We would definitely consider renting this property again.

Our family enjoyed this beach home even better than the pics. The short walk out to the beach was great. The beds were comfy plenty of towels etc. The only thing I would recommend is some nice beach chairs and umbrella stored somewhere in a closet or something but nothing negative loved loved it.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was clean, beautifully furnished and the perfect place for a family of 15. Everyone enjoyed the stay and even caught some fish in front of the house. The children had a blast and begged to stay longer. In fact they are asking when we can go back again. It was a perfect week for us.

Plenty of bedrooms

We loved the wifi TV and the view of the ocean.

This house was in a great location for the tournament at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex - about a 25 min. drive. I loved that the house is right ON the beach, and had 6 bedrooms with big beds so we could have multiple families and plenty of room. It was very clean, lots of parking, two refrigerators. We were comfortable - it was awesome!

We have stayed at several houses in the past in Destin and decided to try out Gulf Shores this time around. We found this house right on the beach and it was perfect. We had 9 adults and a 3 year old and it accommodated us all very well. I am always looking for houses that have king bed options and this has 3 which was just what we needed! The beach access was great. House was in great shape. Really I have no complaints! It was kind of hard to fully get an idea of the layout So main floor that is where kitchen and living space is- has one bedroom that has two queen beds and the top floor has a king bedroom with personal bathroom, 2 queens in a room with a hallway bathroom, bunk room with 3 beds that would use the hallway bathroom and then two king bedrooms that have their own toilet/ sink and share a shower (jack and Jill style). We are definitely going to consider this property again for the future!

Loved all the windows definitely right on the beach,! One day it rained and we were able to sit in the living room and still enjoy the ocean.

It was great to have enough space we could all comfortably stay .

Wave dancer is a lovely house on the beach. It was suitable for all of our age groups from 2-70 years. We had plenty of room and plenty of bathrooms! I had one minor concern. There were two cracked glasses in the cabinet when we got there. It didn’t bother us. I just didn’t want to be blamed for them.

I was initially wary of the rental since there were few reviews- most were brief or older. Pros: Nicely located and good beach access. There is a rocky dune between the house and the beach which was ok but a bit challenging for the small kids in our party. Furnishings are nice. They are beginning to show signs of wear and tear. There are two refrigerators which was really useful for our large party. Cons: Bathrooms-One of the bathrooms does not function- so although it is advertised as 5 baths it’s actually 4! This was a huge problem for us since we had multiple families in our party and selected this vacation home primarily based on the #of bathrooms. The property management company was contacted immediately upon arrival and several times during our stay to remedy. Each time we were placed on hold for 20 minutes or more and then they would return and say an urgent request was put in and someone would come by to repair. This NEVER HAPPENED!! We even had one of their phone operators tell us they were previously aware of this issue. Carpet- There is carpet on the steps and in the upstairs bedrooms. The carpet smells of mildew and wet dogs. We opened all the doors and windows to reduce the odor. There are no screens on any doors or windows but thankfully there were few flying insects around at this time. Wi-Fi- Traveling these days it is expected that Wi-Fi would be accessible and available. NOPE! We were not provided the correct password at check in so we once again had to contact them for support. They spent 2 hours ‘troubleshooting’ and called us back with a new password. Cleanliness- the property says it’s professionally cleaned but it was not obvious in the bathrooms or floors as there was sand and hairs present throughout. We ended up at the local store buying cleaning supplies to clean our accommodations. All in all, we made the best of the short time we stayed at the Wave Dancer. Vacasa was a unresponsive property management company. Given The cost of the rental I wouldn’t have expected to have to DIY our vacation but we didn’t want the whole trip to be soured by the mediocre accommodations. We couldn’t change our accommodations because there were no other options available- WE TRIED! I wouldn’t rent this place or any accommodations managed by Vacasa again. If you find yourself choosing to do so anyways- do so with caution and minimalg expectation of the photos to match reality.

We booked Wave Dancer for our reunion this year. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for the 10 adults. This is a beautiful home that has plenty of beach viewing from inside or outside on the 2 beach facing decks. The living and gathering areas were well appointed. The kitchen had nearly all the tools we needed to cook and share meals throughout the week.

Right size for our family reunion. Nice arrangement of bedrooms. Comfortable furniture. Only down side is it has a very small deck so reading and watching sunrise or sunset on a lounger is not possible is not possible.
