My family and I enjoyed a fantastic week in this beautiful home. It had everything that we wanted and more. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of Ocean’s Dream On and the organization of the owners, Anne and Eric! The house was well stocked with linens, blankets, pillows, beach supplies, pots, pans, plates and cutlery! Anything that we needed was at our fingertips and in perfect working order Anne and Eric were extremely attentive to us, checking in to make sure that we had what we needed and even suggested some fun things to do and places to go! We are a family of different ages ranging from 4 yrs old to 70 yrs old, yet we all agreed that it was our best vacation EVER. The hot tub, pool and outdoor shower was a hit as was the beautiful beach that was only a short walk away We will definitely be back to make more happy memories! Thank you Anne and Eric!

This was a perfect house for our large group of family and friends. We had plenty of room for all of us and all the amenities were just perfect. The tweens and young adults loved the game room and pool. My 70+ year old parents also loved the pool as they didn’t always want to go to the beach. The location couldn’t have been better. The communication with Annie was very easy and she was incredibly responsive and kind. All around a fantastic house and has everything you need. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Hands down the cleanest and best kept rental I've ever stayed at! The owners take pride in their home and deliver personal touches you won't find with a commercially owned property. Owners were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. All bedrooms except the top floor master had private entrances which worked well for our group, but may not with young kids... BUT they do have an optional alarm system you can individualize! LOVED the fenced yard for my dog. LOVED the breezy screened porch for morning coffee and to watch the storms roll through. LOVED the hot tub away from the pool on the opposite side of the house, covered yet still a view of the night sky. You can easily walk/bike to Jockey's Ridge, the beach, or any of the numerous local food/ice cream establishments, Snow Birds being a fave! The neighborhood was scenic, well maintained, and safe for young teens to go explore on their own. Convenient, centralized location for anyone visiting OBX for their 1st time. Manteo was a short drive away. The included pier passes were a lifesaver despite being 7mi away, well worth a visit if anyone wants to fish... the staff were so nice, patient, and helpful to my 13yr old son and even hooked him up with bait, and it's open/staffed 24hrs/day. The only suggestion I have is to change the keyless lock pad to the front main entrance instead of the bottom level carport entry to allow guests in/out without disturbing privacy to the bottom level. This home is beautiful. My family had a great time there and everything we needed was included, even items we didn't know we needed 🤣 The walk to the beach was very cute and convenient, the beach cart works really well in the sand, much easier than most we've seen at other homes! The only negative was that the pool was not very warm but it was really cold the first two days so I guess it couldn't keep up but by day 3 it was warm enough to use it and let's face it, kids don't care especially when there's a hot tub to run into 🤣 The beds were also really tough, even the kids (10 and under) had some sore backs but that let us get up early everyday and spend more time enjoying the area 😁 Nags Head is SO pet friendly and you can walk to many restaurants where you can take them with you from here....huge plus for us fur parents ❤️ You can also walk to a really great park for the human littles too! My family all want to come back :)

We had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year at Ocean Dream On! The house is spacious and beautiful (party of ten with one dog;) and had everything we needed for a great stay. The location is perfect; quiet neighborhood and less than a five minute walk to the ocean. The backyard is so spacious and the views of the ocean from two decks and the screened in porch were better than expected. Owners were awesome with communication and flexibility and truly had our enjoyment of the week as their main priority. We will definitely be back!!

Our group had a great visit! We picked this property due to the ability to accommodate our baby (travel crib, seat, beach toys provided) in addition to 4 dogs - this made for a unique and memorable vacation! We enjoyed the hot tub + private pool and made great use of the fenced yard. We also cooked most meals as the kitchen was well equipped.

This was an amazing trip! The house and location were perfect. The owners were so kind , helpful and communicative! We would love to stay again 😊

We loved Ocean Dream On! Owner Annie and caretaker Jason were so great, excellent communication and Jason even delivered fresh NC shrimp for our shrimp boil dinner! We called it the tie dye house and loved the hand painted accents. Music lovers will really appreciate the little touches. Very well equipped, nice pool, close to beach. My favorite space was the screened top level porch with ocean peek views! I want to bring my family back!

Great house with fun theme in beautiful neighborhood, excellent for jogging / walking. Nice-sized King and Queen bedrooms. Terrific living space upstairs for entire family. Fun pool area. Hot tub on second level deck. Gameroom for kids and kitchen with fridge downstairs.

Amazing experience

This beach house has everything we needed and more! It was cleaned and fully stocked. It’s in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and the walk to the beach is short and easy through a pleasant little path. The owners of the house are so friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating. We all had a wonderful time and will be back!!!

We recently rented this property with people aged 20 -75 and every single person agreed that this was their favorite house we've ever stayed at and we have been coming to OBX since the 80s. Conveniently located to everything and the pool was amazing when the tropical storm warning came in.

Previous glowing reviews had our expectations pretty high, but Ocean Dream On exceeded our expectations. Staying with our sons, daughter-in-laws and three granddaughters, the house had everything we needed for a wonderful week. The property was clean and comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, beds comfortable, heated pool and hot tub for onsite relaxing, and a short walk to the ocean or to the sound for beautiful views, waves, sand and sun. Pool and beach toys for the kids, all linens provided, beautiful weather....we could not ask for anything more. Our hosts were responsive before and throughout our stay....if you are looking at OBX and this house is available, don't hesitate - you will not be disappointed.

Our multigenerational family of 10, including 1 child and 1 teenager, had a fantastic time at this beautiful home! Biking (we brought our own), swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, playing Foosball, puzzles, card and board games, and going to the beach were just a few of the activities we enjoyed, with the beach a short 5 minute walk! Everything we needed was provided: linens (beds made and no stripping them at the end of the week), beach and pool towels, games, puzzles, bath and hand towels, well-stocked kitchen, beach cart-2 of them!-with chairs and umbrellas, and all we would need for a relaxing and refreshing week. The pool is approx 10x20ft, with curved design, and approx 5 feet at the deepest point so no diving, but plenty of room to swim. A wonderful time was had by all! Thanks again, Annie and Eric-We will definitely rent from you again when we return to OBX!

The house was great with a very open living and dining area. The bedrooms were nice sizes with comfortable beds and bathrooms for each bedroom. The pool was a good size for our group of 6 and we really enjoyed it being heated as it was cool in early June. The house is two blocks from the beach, and the house has beach chairs and a beach cart to haul your gear to the beach. We really enjoyed the location to so many attractions in the Nags Head area.

House was great for families. Listing was spot on. Can’t wait to go back!

This is the place to stay when staying in OBX! The layout of the house supported three families while offering plenty of privacy. The location is perfect and only a scenic 5-7 minute walk to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for better communication from the owners. Annie provided suggestions for restaurants and activities and always responded immediately to our questions before and during our stay. We can't wait to return!

When a group of lifetime friends decided to go on a trip we knew we needed a home that welcomed our free spirits and need for space. Ocean Dream On was the perfect match for our adventure. Anne and Eric were quick to reply to any questions we had before and during our stay. We got into town a bit early and were thrilled to find out that we were allowed to check in early! The house was so much fun to explore, it was like we were kids again, picking which room had the best bed! Every room was clean and welcoming. Our favorite place in the house was the living area on the top floor. The open concept was exactly right for our group of friends. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was easy to find. The location was perfect for us as well. We were close to everything but on a quiet street. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and were able to really enjoy the pool in the sunshine. Anne and Eric have done a great job making this large home feel connected and fun. Thank you, Ocean Dream On, for making our Girls Trip dream a reality we will always remember!

We had a wonderful vacation in this house! This house stood out for us for a couple reasons. Heated pool, hot tub, children were welcome, and the owner's willingness to offer bookings of less than a full week during the off season. The house itself is great for families. There's a ping pong table and foosball table for the kids to enjoy. The kitchen is modern and has an open floor plan to the top floor living room that has great views of the ocean. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it's very quiet and there's no traffic zooming by. Speaking of location, it is walkable to two public beach access points as well as an ice cream shop and a burger place if you wanted a quick snack or meal. It's almost right across the highway from Jockey's Ridge State Park where you can walk, board, or hang glide the massive sand dunes. Everything in the house was super clean. We can't recommend this property enough. Looking forward to heading back! Thanks Anne and Eric!!
