The house is well appointed and was in great condition. Pool was nice and the temp was perfect. Having the "beach cart" with big wheels was very convenient. Kids had a blast and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

These folks, Tom and Laura, really knew what they were doing when they did this. I’ve used VRBO for the past 10 years, and I’ve never had the experience all come together like this. The place is beautiful, great location and amenities, but most of all they make you feel welcome and make the days working up to the stay very exciting. Wonderful people wonderful place, 5 stars isn’t enough! Thank you for allowing us to stay.

We had an amazing family vacation in St. George Island at Recharge by the Sea! We spent lots of time lounging in and around the pool! We were able to view the sunrise every morning from the humongous back porch. The house is located only steps from the beach which is easily accessible from the private boardwalk. Not only were we able to relax & recharge, but so was our EV! This was an amazing place to stay on the island and we will definitely be back!

This was our first time at Recharge By The Sea. It is a new addition to SGI and was in perfect shape. It is well laid out and very comfortable. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room and they have a beach cart on property for guests to use. That was very convenient. Worth a visit.

What an amazing place! This is our second time visiting St. George Island, and I have to say it was our favorite! Recharge By The Sea, LLC exceeded our expectations, and then some! Laura and Tom are EXCELLENT hosts, and made sure we had top notch service during our stay. You can tell how much thought they put into every detail in their home. It was super clean and stocked with more than we have ever had in a vacation home! Everything was easy to find too! The blue pool was beautiful, and the size was perfect for us all to enjoy it at the same time (4 adults and 2 older kids). There were plenty of toys/chairs/boards in the storage closet for the beach which is only a few steps down the private boardwalk. Waking up in the morning and seeing the breathtaking beach through the sliding glass doors in our bedroom was definitely a highlight too. Not to mention the back deck was a magical place to enjoy coffee in the morning, and watch the waves hit the sand. I HIGHLY recommend this vacation home.

This home and location was everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation. Recharge by the Sea is the nicest beach home we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It has all the amenities needed to keep our family (including children) comfortable, entertained, happy, and relaxed. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, watching dolphins swim and jump in the Gulf, swimming in the pool, puzzles, playing games, riding bikes, etc. I am very picky about the cleanliness of places that I stay, and this house was very clean. Laura and Tom are excellent to work with, the cleaning staff was kind, and we truly enjoyed our first trip to SGI. Highly recommend this home!

We had a wonderful week vacationing at Recharge By the Sea! The home was perfection…. It was so clean and well-maintained. Great job cleaning staff! Our children, all 6 of them, enjoyed sleeping in the bunk room. We loved all the little things that Tom and Laura have included in their home to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The light switches and kitchen cabinets were labeled. That was extremely helpful and saved time while cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. I love the vacuum cleaners. Having two of them helped us keep all the sand out and off the floor. The layout of the home was perfect for enjoying family time but also having comfortable sleeping arrangements for all 12 guests in our party. The pool…. Wow!!!! Our kids loved it most of all! We spent most of our time there. The tanning ledge was a nice play space for our smaller children who can’t swim on their own yet. We loved the half bath on the bottom level… it was a lifesaver on more than one occasion! All of the sand toys, beach chairs, and corn hole boards were very nice also. Thank you, Tom and Laura, for being great hosts! We would love to come back here someday!

We were blown away by everything Recharge By The Sea had to offer! Our family enjoyed a long stay, it was very comfortable and enough space for everyone. We loved all having our own rooms and bathrooms. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of every part of the house, inside and outside. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking equipment you could need, it was also great they had kitchen essentials readily available for guests too - things we forgot about at the store. We enjoyed the close private boardwalk to the beach; it made coming back and forth to the house super easy. The brand-new pool was so nice to hang out and relax, perfect for kids too! We met the pool guy when he came to clean during our stay, and he was so friendly. We came with a baby and were able to rent baby gear through Baby Quip and Recharge By The Sea was very accommodating to allow for the gear to be set up prior to arrival, so once we got there our baby could nap right away. This was much appreciated! We cannot wait to come back to SGI and stay at Recharge By The Sea, we loved it so much. The hosts are incredible and truly thought of everything to make your vacation amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this immaculate, well appointed and lovely new beach home! Perfectly appointed with everything you will need: plenty of comfortable seating indoors and out, comfortable beds, pillows, bedding, Keurig, beach towels, etc! It was exceptionally clean, well lit for our late evening arrival and beautiful ocean views! We highly recommend!

St. George Island is the perfect place for a truly relaxing getaway and Tom and Laura’s home is the best place to experience it! Every detail, from the generously-sized sparkling clean rooms and well-stocked kitchen to the cozy blankets and toys, games, and books, made our stay with friends feel like our home away from home. We loved sitting on the deck for coffee each morning, sunsets on the porch, and watching dolphins during dinner from the sizable windows that capture the Gulf’s natural beauty so well. Our kids loved being so close to both the pool and beach and easy access to the beach cart and chairs made for relaxing days on the shore. We look forward to visiting again soon!

This is our second visit to Recharge by The Sea and it is still just as great as it was a year ago. The House: Simply put, just a beautiful home that is very well laid out and thoughtfully planned. All the comforts of home and everybody is able to have their own space. The ocean facing deck actually has a great view, kinda hard to tell that from the pictures but it is there. Each morning I could watch dolphins playing from either the master suite or the high top table on the deck. New additions since our first visit: Probably the most notable was something we didn’t know we were missing…a swimming pool. We mostly prefer the beach but we did use the pool more than I expected. Great new storage area for beach equipment and a half bath outside so that you don’t have to into the house from the pool or the beach. The beach cart is a heck of a plus when packing chairs and coolers down to the beach as well. This area of the island is not as busy on the beach as other areas which is what we are looking for. Simply us and the sounds of the ocean. Lots of shells to be found and plenty of room for long beach walks if you like. Hard to say enough good about our visits here, we’ve truly enjoyed the house and its location. Great communication from the owners throughout our booking from start to finish.

Recharge by the Sea couldn't be more appropriately named - just an amazing trip for my family of 4 and my brother's crew of 5. House is exactly as advertised, every step of the communication was perfect. We literally had EXACTLY the vacation we had envisioned, and as most of us know that is very unlikely. We have already discussed coming back to the same house ASAP. Thanks Laura and Tom!

Wowza! If you are looking for an incredibly relaxing beach vacation in a beautiful home that offers it all, look no further! The photos don’t do this beautiful home justice. It’s even better in person! It was a perfect set up for 2 families to spend spring break together and the hosts thought of it all as far as amenities provided. Laura was fantastic to communicate with. We are so sad that our week flew by in SGI but are so grateful that we chose to spend our time Recharging by the Sea at this home! We had a great vacation staying in this wonderful home. Not only was the house wonderful, clean and roomy, but the location was great as well. It was like our own private beach, with plenty of room to play frisbee, paddle ball, volleyball, ect. The hosts were hospitable and were easily accessible if needed. Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful vacation stay. We definitely would recommend this home and would love to visit again.

The house far exceeded my expectations- brand new and perfectly laid out for two families with kids to get together and relax, with plenty of room and right on the beach. Beautiful views from the back porch and a perfectly appointed kitchen- we cooked every meal at home with no need to dine out! The owners were very communicative and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely book it again.

It was almost like being a guest in someone’s home-they thought of everything. SGI is like a respite from the world. We didn’t want to come home!! It’s an amazingly thought out home with a beautiful view.
