A lot of steep stairs to climb. Very noisy coffee shop below, it might as well be a nightclub. Comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to all things in the historic district. I would recommended to anyone physically fit.

We were in town for a wedding at The Foundry. This unit was right across the street! We were also close to several restaurants, bars and shopping! The coffee shop below the unit was amazing! Street noise could be heard but it didn’t really bother us. Also, we would have preferred to have access to the thermostat. The room upstairs got warm at night as the thermostat increased to 77°. Despite that, we loved our stay and we can’t wait to come back!

My friends and I were celebrating a birthday. There was no better way than to stay in the middle of St Charles among all of the charming shops, bakeries and restaurants. This loft was adorable and clean.

This property is in a great location on beautiful Main St. It also is next to a coffee shop. The bed in the master bedroom was smaller than we expected but that wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Gloria responded quickly to all our communications and was a great host!

We rented this loft for a wedding in St. Charles, and the location was perfect! Lots of good restaurants and shops all within walking distance. It's right above a coffee shop that stays open late on the weekends, so you can expect some late night noise. There is a steep staircase to get to the loft and a low sofa, so be aware of that with older visitors or those with mobility issues. The property was just as described, clean and so cute. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very quick to respond to all questions or requests! We would stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this darling loft and couldn't be happier with my experience. The loft was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable during my stay. The location was perfect - Historic downtown St. Charles is a beautiful location. There is such a variety of shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. Gloria was also incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation experience.

Only issue is none of the blinds were able to adjust so the street lights shining in and early sunrise was hard to avoid. I may have missed it, but a lot of steps to get up to the loft from the street.

Mule husband and I have stayed here a couple of times for work trips. We love this loft! It’s very clean and well stocked. The manager communicated quickly and made sure we had everything. It’s right on Historic Main St. just steps away from excellent restaurants and the beautiful river front park. Highly recommended!

This apartment was perfect for a girls getaway! Very to date and clean apartment that was perfect for a great getaway weekend. The two bathrooms worked very well and we had lots of room! A perfect spot for shopping and going out to eat. Comfortable and inviting. Bonus that there is a reserved parking spot. It was the Art Festival weekend so a bonus but a bit challenging to follow GPS with closed streets but once we found our way was easy to access. Would recommend to any couples or ladies looking to get away !

It is clear the owners take pride in hosting. Their apartment is well appointed and well kept. It looked just like the picture and was so fresh and clean when we came in after a long day of driving. We just had a happy, long ‘ahhhh’ upon arriving😊
My daughter and I wanted an apartment over the shops on the street, European style. We miss Europe. Living over the ice cream shop on the Main Street of St Charles fit that bill on our budget…we were delighted.

The apartment was perfect for the 5 of us, we really loved that it had 2 bathrooms and individual beds upstairs. This allowed for all of us to have our own bed to sleep in and was very comfy! We attended a concert at Hollywood and it was the perfect spot to stay for the night, easy to access and the host was super easy to communicate with.

Really cute place. We stayed for a girls' night and really enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very responsive and prompt with check-in. The only thing that I would not give five stars for is the comfort of the beds, but overall, I recommend it. Also note: lots of stairs.

Very nice and just as it was described. The downstairs ice cream parlor noise began around 6:30am, but we knew to expect that from previous reviews. There was alot of noise until around 1:30am due to a party in one of the venues. St. Charles is a great location for a weekend getaway.

I book all my VRBO's from reviews. So, I like to be 100% honest. This is a great apartment! Nice to be on historic main street with a lot of places to visit. Nice walking path near by. Great communication with owner. There is a lot of street noise (which we expected), there is a lot of early morning noise (like tables and chairs scooting on the floor), below the apartment and I assumed it was from the Ice Cream shop below. Understandably, the historic building did not cool down very well even using the ceiling fans (I think it reached 84 one of the days). This was a great, fun place to stay.

This is a charming loft conveniently located right on historic Main Street in St. Charles. You can see the river from the upstairs room and it is very easy walking distance to Katy Trail and shops and restaurants. Very clean. It's right above the Baked Bear, so the loft gets wafts of freshly baked cookies throughout the afternoon and evening which smell delicious! I would stay here again.

We spent the evening in St Charles with family/friends and this was the perfect location to hit the bars and restaurants. There is one dedicated parking space but lots of nearby street parking for other vehicles. The loft sleeping options were perfect for our group. One thing to note is the stairs. If you have someone in your group who has difficulty with stairs, this may not be the place for you. There are 2 flights of stairs to get into the unit. It did not deter us, but is worth mentioning. We had a wonderful stay!

Really enjoyed our stay—-rental was super cozy, had an awesome modern/vintage vibe. Quiet with a great location. Nice to have a parking spot included. Would definitely stay again! Love!!!
