The property owner was great from start to finish. The check in/out couldn’t have been any easier. The location was private but accessible to everything. The feel of the inside was so warm and cozy. The owner even put some simple holiday decorations for a great feel. The views from every window were all spectacular from morning till night. The sunrise, sunset and stars were all equally stunning. It was one of the most relaxing times if have had on the NF. Thank you for helping it to be such a great getaway.

The Cozy Cottage was indeed quite cozy and darling, it fits right in with the feel of a weekend getaway on North Fork - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again!

Great location; nicely decorated. The bathroom is a little smallish. Very clean. Close to Vineyards, Greenport and Riverhead. We ate a very nice restaurant down the street, Red Rooster Bistro. Owner was easy to contact.

Only needed a place for two nights and this fit the bill for many reasons! Clean, included all amenities you could ever need (including a hair dryer), and a lot of nice additions (individually wrapped toothbrushes if you forgot). It is small but not sure you need more room if you plan to be out and about the island.

Such a comfortable little cottage on the North Fork. This place has everything you could possibly ask for as a vacation rental. We had a great stay and I am looking forward to coming back in the Winter The host is very attentive and quick to reply to any questions that you may have

Has everything you need and Deborah is very helpful. The one thing to note about the area though is that it’s hard to find beach access where you don’t need a local permit. If you don’t have a permit you get a $75 ticket for trying to go to the beach…

Small “cottage” that was perfect for myself and my husband, cozy and comfortably furnished, kitchen well stocked. Cute little porch that I enjoyed each morning with my coffee and book. Only suggestions are for a full length mirror (and possibly a clearer mirror in the bathroom) and maybe hooks to hang items (e.g. dress) that are too long for the armoire. Would definitely stay there again, it is in in a perfect location!

We had a very cozy, peaceful stay in this cottage. It was a treat to look out the windows and see green farmland all around us. Convenient location within driving distance to beaches, wineries, restaurants etc. Recommend for a getaway!

Just okay

Cute small cottage that is decorated farmhouse chic. Very clean, quiet area, and practically everything I needed so I didn’t have to bring a lot of “stuff”. The owner answered any question I had almost as soon as I asked. Checkin and checkout was easy and stress free. Looking forward to renting again next summer.

The Cozy Cottage was the perfect landing spot for our weekend! The house is clean and bright with large windows & beautiful views, and a well appointed kitchen. You can watch the sunset over the farm, while making dinner, then sit on the outdoor patio after. The full size appliances are new and clean. The decor is serene and cozy, with reclaimed wood and brick, and a beautiful shiplap vaulted ceiling. Cool antique touches like the medicine cabinet and the bedroom armoire, made it feel like home. Awesome easy to use TV! The sliding vintage barn door to the bedroom allows for privacy. And the bed is beautiful and so comfortable! Every window has a shade for privacy, all the lights are on dimmers, and the central AC is amazing. Most importantly, there’s Deborah. From the communication before our arrival, to her welcoming note with WiFi info, and her availability for anything you may need… you can’t ask for a more gracious and accommodating host. We will definitely stay at the Cozy Cottage again!

We were looking for the quintessential North Fork location - we had a home here years ago - and Cozy Cottage evoked that feel for us. Instantly we felt at home. Just the right size, beautifully appointed, close to the things we know and love, yet light years away from our normal life. Hoping for a return in a few months. Just loved it and felt that we were on the same wave length as Deborah. A beautiful weekend.A new home away from home.

Great small cottage for a short stay on the North Fork. The cottage is nicely decorated, clean and close to many destinations. The host was very easy to work with and made the trip very enjoyable.

I was on a long search for an affordable accommodation on the North Fork mostly because I waited too long to decide what to do for my birthday. But you know what? I'm grateful for the scavenger hunt because then I probably wouldn't have stumbled upon the Cozy Cottage. Let me tell you all about Ms. Deborah!!! An absolute angel from above! From the moment my reservation was confirmed, we were in constant communication. If I had a question, there was a prompt and thorough response. When I needed to adjust my reservation from 1 guest to 2 guests, it was not a problem and no upcharge (this was done a week in advance). When asked for recommendations on non-resident-friendly beaches and seafood restaurants, Deborah basically drafted a 1-pager and included information that I honestly didn't bother to ask for because I didn't want to trouble her with more questions. Like, what in the hospitality?! Please note that I have not stepped foot on the property at this point. I was a bit weary about staying in a cottage on a farm but the correspondence alone made me feel reassured that I would be taken care of. Moving on to the cottage itself. OH MY GOD! I was having an out-of-body HGTV experience. The color scheme, the furniture, the appliances, the textures, the ceiling, the natural light! This cottage is stunning from top to bottom. The pictures online are accurate but I personally think the cottage is even more beautiful in person. It's quite spacious and serene so if you find yourself sitting in the living area in awe, it's normal (lol). The living room couch is super comfy, the TV works perfectly, and you don't have to worry about spotty WiFi here. The fridge is clean and super spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils for cooking, eating, and drinking. Crawl into bed and you'll immediately begin to drift away. I loved how we were able to maintain privacy while also being proximal to the vineyards and wineries, beaches, and other North Fork attractions. We had a fabulous experience at the Cozy Cottage under Deborah's care and we plan to be back!!!

The cottage was super cozy and the location was by far the best. You're literally within minutes of dozens of vineyards and no more than 15 minutes from restaurants and bars at Greenport. Would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get away for the weekend.

Our host/contact person was very responsive to texts and helpful with locating the cottage upon arrival as our GPS didn’t pick up the exact provided address.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Cozy Cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable. The location was central to everything. The house was very quiet, despite being on one of the main roads. The view was simply stunning and looking out onto the farm made the house itself feel bigger than it was. We would definitely rent again. Deborah made check-in and check-out an easy process. A couple of small things: a second mirror somewhere in the house would have made the getting ready process easier for two people. Also, we did not see a smoke detector anywhere. We could have missed it but this would have made me feel more comfortable.
