This was the perfect spot for our family vacation to see the Ark and Creation museum. Great location. Beautiful home and beautiful view!

We had a wonderful weekend, but felt like for the money we could not give this a 5 star. There were many stink bugs as well as debris found on the floor and kitchen counters and an odd smell coming from the kitchen sink. There is no sound barrier in the home and made it difficult with having a sleeping baby. The drive to ark was
Convenient and the view was pretty on the water.

We had a great weekend getaway with a beautiful view at this lakefront property! We were only minutes away from the Ark Encounter and only 45 minutes from the Newport Aquarium. This lakefront home has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake with comfortable outdoor furniture, grill, firepit and even kayak access from their dock. You have a large upstairs bedroom with 2 large beds, 2 bedrooms on the main floor (one with bunkbeds & trundle, and the other with a queen) and a queen bedroom on the bottom level. The house has 2 large bathrooms, a comfy living area with fireplace and tv, and a kitchen stocked with all you need. The bottom level also has a daybed, video game machine, foosball table and plenty of toys to keep little ones busy. The downstairs porch also has a cute little swing for the kids. The house is modern, clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view! The homeowner was easy to reach by text and took care of all our needs. I would definitely recommend this gem!
I would like to lastly mention that many of the reviews complain about the driveway, and yes, the driveway is steep, but all the driveways on this lake look to have steep drives. The owners are very helpful in recommending how to approach their driveway and we had no issues. I would not let the driveway scare you away from this lake home.

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room in the house and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit and got good use out of the grill.

This property was fantastic. The road and driveway are slightly difficult to navigate but our group did just fine driving a mini van as well as a 12 passenger van. The home had everything we needed. The dock and kayaks were a hit with the kids!

House was great! Stocked with kitchen amenities for cooking, plenty of indoor and outdoor games and toys for kids! Only drawback was driveway, hard to navigate with 2-wheel drive. Overall, great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house, the views were amazing! We even saw some wild deer and turkeys. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. The house was well stocked and clean. We would definitely recommend this house!

It was extremely difficult to find the house in the dark. There was no sign, mailbox or light. The driveway was difficult to turn into and very steep. If we had known how scary the driveway was we would have not rented the house. Having said that the views were very good from the house. One bed downstairs was small and no way to cover windows. Every step we took on the main floor was heard downstairs. The house was clean and spacious.

The Lake House was beautiful and well-equipped. Everyone had a great time kayaking and enjoyed watching the deer. It was within minutes from Noah’s Ark. My son is already requesting to go back.

This house was perfect for our group of 7 family members. The house was very clean and well furnished. We visited the Ark nearby and enjoyed coming home to the scenic outdoor porch after our long days. Our kids loved the games downstairs and the bunkroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The only disappointment was the entry and parking situation. The road was not paved and the driveway was tricky to enter. One day we showed up and the road was blocked by workers at a nearby build. It looks like the road will eventually be paved and the nearby houses will be built.

The pictures are exactly what you get! Beautiful open space and a lovely view! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances, the heater on the deck was nice as we had a cold snap over the weekend. The kayaks made for a fun afternoon for our young people and the foosball table definitely brought out the competition in the family! There is even an integrated sound system that you can play music in the living space or on the deck - super nice touch and fun! We read about the driveway, so we were prepared. We did not have any troubles in our small SUV and my parents in their truck. We both parked in the drive near the house. Definitely lots of room to spread out and enjoy! We visited the Ark Encounter and the timing was perfect - we did not wait in a single line and the drive was super short. We had a great time!

Awesome home with fully stocked kitchen. Loved the kayaks. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Very quite neighbourhood and convenient to shopping and attractions.
Checkout was very simple. . The steep gravel driveway was a bit of a challenge and more seating in the common areas inside would have been nice.
Highly recommend this one and would stay again if we’re in the area in the future.

We had a nice stay! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It was a cold few days, but loved fishing off the dock.
There wasn’t a lot of privacy or places to put our belongings, but we did enjoy the house overall.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived at night and it was a little difficult to find the property. We accidentally turned into the house next door before realizing we were in the wrong place. The house was clean and updated with lots of amenities. We have already suggested this property to friends who have plans to visit the area.

We had a wonderful time at this home. Sunshine was very easy to work with. We had to make some last minute changes because of inclement weather and Sunshine was so flexible. The house is very well stocked! Kids loved playing with toys downstairs and we grilled on the back deck too. The sunrise on the porch should not be missed! We made some amazing memories!
One piece of advice I would give…try to arrive during daylight. The driveway is pretty steep and the entry can be hard to navigate in the dark if you aren’t familiar with it.

We loved this property. There were plenty of beds and places to spread out, since we were traveling with our kids and grandkids. I was apprehensive about the driveway after reading previous reviews, but it was fine to get up with our van (not four wheel drive ).

The property is very nice and has excellent finishes inside. The location is beautiful. The only negative of the property is the steepness and loose gravel of the drive. One of our vehicles had to stay up on the side of the road. Some suggestions for making this a 5-star. The bedrooms are lacking a chest of drawers or the like and you have to "live out of your suitcase". This was disappointing. Secondly, be sure there are plenty of towels. We had 9 people and we were short towels. We did find some beach towels a couple of us had to use. The other thing is there were no instructions at all. I'm used to finding a sheet or binder which offers information for the local area such as places to eat, places to buy groceries, etc. There was nothing about how to handle the trash or if we needed to worry about trash pickup or the like. We just did what we felt was right which was all we could do. I would have communicated with the host, but none of us had cell phone service at the house and the VRBO app would not allow me to reply or send a message via internet for some reason. Everything was workable though, and we had a very nice stay and enjoyed the local attractions which were easily accessible. We would stay again.

Owners provide little extras that you may have forgotten to bring. This added a very welcoming touch that made the overall experience A+!!! Would recommend staying here.

Lots of room, very clean and welcoming, well equipped kitchen, and we LOVED the big deck and enjoyed eating outside, and spent a couple nights enjoying the outside fire table! The driveway is a little tricky, but do-able. Only 10-15 min.from the Ark Encounter. Highly recommend!

Nearby amenities, like walmart, Dunkin are closeby. We enjoyed watching the numerous deer, geese and gosling. We also saw crane walking on the deck in front of the house, and even saw a young fox. Overall, if you have no problem with driving up and down a steep drive or steep walk to the water, this property is a great choice.
