The overall place was very nice. Our vacation got started off poorly though. Picked up keys at Vacasa building at 4:00pm at check in time. Arrived at Pelican Perch 104 only to find that the place was not cleaned at all. Dirty towels and bed linens lying on the floor and place dirty. Contacted Vacasa and was told that they would put an emergency ticket in for housekeeping. Waited for an hour and a half for someone from housekeeping to arrive. When they finally did they sent one person to clean a 3 floor condo. It took the cleaning person 2 and a half hours to clean the unit while we waited outside. We finally got in to our cleaned condo at 8:00pm. I contacted Vacasa several times. I finally was able to talk to an actual person as the local office was closed. I was told that the manager of the local Ocean City office would contact me the following day to discuss what had happened and how we were given keys to a condo that had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Well sadly, I never received a call from anybody the entire 7 days I was there. I can say I have never booked thru Vacasa before, and i will tell you I will never book thru them again. I very rarely complain, but this was not how I planned to spend my first day of vacation. I paid for a day that I was not even able to be in my condo and it was no fault of my own. Sadly no one from Vacasa seemed to care. Apparently it didn’t even warrant a call from the manager of the local office to apologize. The only thing I wanted was the assurance that this would not happen to the next people that rented the condo. I would recommend the place to rent as it is a beautiful place, but I would definitely book it thru someone other than Vacasa.

We very much enjoyed a great extended family vacation at Pelican Perch 104! The townhouse was well appointed, comfortable, and stocked with many amenities, down to the crab hammers and board games! A few things to note: there is a Keurig-type machine but no standard coffeemaker (the Vacasa description states a 12-cup drip coffeemaker), so make sure you bring K-cups if you'd like coffee. Also, there is a community grill by the pool. Make sure to bring your own canister of propane if you plan on grilling. Lastly, there is a vacuum and Swiffer- bring wet cleaning cloths if you'd like to "mop" the floors during your stay.

Beautiful home, great quiet location, bay view, 2 blocks from the beach. I would definitely stay here again.
