Apt was as advertised. Ali was available & helpful.

Overall the experience was gratifying because we were with family and able to be together. Our host was most responsive to any and all questions and concerns we experienced, evening into the late evening as concerns may have evloved. I would recommend a review of the property to enhance the lighting as the unit was very dark and update the heating and cooling units. We truly appreciated the attentiveness of our host and the overall comfort of the location for our time together.

We came in for a quick weekend visit. Great location, good communication with host but the apartment was in a rather tired building and dark. Not great for hanging out but if you want a good location in Oak Park and are just using it to sleep it’s fine.

Great place. Very clean and had all the amenities. Parking spot was a major plus. Close to lots for restaurants. Ali was very responsive to any questions we had.

Stay was very well communicated in advance of trip, great welcome packet with easy to follow directions. Very clean when checked in. Some of the pictures are older but pretty accurate to listing. Great location for Oak Park and Downtown! Master bedroom blinds don’t go all the way down, and are needed on first floor unit for sun/privacy. Some minor adjustments (fans) the owner is aware of and addressing. Very attentive throughout our 4 day stay

Booked this place to stay during our trip to Chicago for the national card show, overall had no issues with the place. Just the front door could be a little tricky to lock and unlock but you get used to it after the first day

The place was nicely decorated but could not open curtains as it is a garden unit and overlooks walkway and street. A bit noisy but quieted down before 10pm. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was nicely equipped.

Ali was a great host who communicated well before during and after our stay. Very clean and the location was very close to the city and made it easy to get around. We had a fantastic weekend in Chicago.

The place was very clean and the location suited our visit. It was very close to Downtown Oak Park and my sister’s home. We also enjoyed the TVs, updated kitchen, and the extremely helpful Welcome Book.

This VRBO is just as pictured. The manager Ali was very helpful and was just a text or email away if you needed something. They also have a well thought out and useful “Welcome” PDF. I would just advise that you can’t really adjust the heat, so if you’re staying during a chilly Chicagoland night, please know that there is a heater in the closet. I didn’t know that until my second night and thought this info would be helpful to someone.

Overall this was a really nice apartment to stay at. It was clean, big enough for our family of 5 (2 adults/3 teenage girls). Pretty quiet, in a nice looking neighborhood. Ali, the property manager, was very quick replying to any questions. There was a hiccup with the check-in process due to outdated information in the Vrbo website and curtains being too short and allowing daylight in early in the mornings, which is the reason we won't rate this stay with 5 stars. Other than that, everything else was great and we would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as described. Check In couldn’t of been any easier. Ali is an amazing host who was always quick with a response whenever I had a question about anything. I couldn’t be more happy about this rental. Highly recommend. Convenient to everywhere.

As other reviewers have said, this property is very clean, comfortable, and convenient to the west suburbs and downtown and host is very helpful and responsive. Also as others have stated, this is a condo in an older building (as most are in this area) and is a bustling urban neighborhood (which is what makes it convenient to everything you come to Chicago to explore) so you do deal with some noise from the street and other units, but that was all as we expected and the owner obviously works hard to ensure that guests are comfortable and that everything within their control is addressed quickly and professionally. We appreciated the convenience of a parking spot directly behind the building and a grocery store within walking distance as well as the full sized kitchen appliances to do our own meals a few nights. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Disappointment #1- Reserved property for four nights but only stayed one night due to family emergency at home. Inquired about a partial refund from host/VRBO due to those circumstances but was denied. Disappointment #2- Property described as "gorgeous" and "packs a punch" was quite the stretch. "Personal" parking spot was right next to two rolling dumpsters. Building itself was run down but owner did make effort to spruce up inside a bit. Property needed several visible repairs, but those weren't scheduled until day after we checked in, which was odd since it was vacant the entire week before. Lots of police sirens during the night and someone kept pounding on the bedroom door which was adjacent to the community laundry room. In my opinion not a safe neighborhood. My 10 year old grandson called it a scary place. Was even approached by an individual in parking lot asking for money. Have been very happy with other VRBO's in the past but this was a huge disappointment. Would highly NOT RECOMMEND this property.

Booked for a group of friends attending a bachelor party. Great location for traveling to the city and activities in the surrounding area. Great sleeping and living arrangements. The only complaint is that the TV/streaming box is non-functional. It crashes and won't load the various streaming apps.

We had a great stay. The unit was clean and convenient to everything. The internet was great for my husband to work remotely. Thanks for the great experience.

Lots of little amenities, like shampoo / conditioner / body wash in the showers, extra blankets in the living room, plenty of towels, things like that. Master bedroom bed is very comfortable. The two beds in the other room are probably great for most people. A little rough for people with angry joints. But the reserved parking spot was great. Google maps has a hard time finding the right parking lot, but that's no fault of the owner. I just stayed for the weekend, but would definitely stay there again.

Amazing condo with well-equipped kitchen and great amenities. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and close to downtown Chicago by car or train.

We were visiting family members in the Oak Park area and this place was a perfect choice for our family of 4. We were given detailed instructions on how to check in, greeted by a fresh clean smell in the apartment, immaculate throughout. The host Ali was very attentive and texted a detailed guest book answering all of our questions before hand. We found the complex to be very quiet, great water pressure with hot water right away in the shower and excellent working heater when needed. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Clean property and excellent linens!, Linens also plentiful. We were able to get in and lock up with no problem. We felt very safe here. Like having an assigned parking spot! Kitchen was set up to cook a meal; we did not have time to do this however. We look forward to returning here and also tell our friends about this lovely rental.

Great place in Oak Park, and well situated for Chicagoland activities!

On the plus side, you can tell that the host is trying very hard to make this a good stay. The apartment is clean inside and there are amenities such as water and ground coffee available. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans/plates/etc and all of the appliances are big and clean. There is plenty of space. There are 2 full bathrooms and everything works. There is a parking space. It is close to several grocery stores. The host is communicative and receptive. However, and this is not the fault of the host, but the building itself was old and there was litter/smokers around the outside. Also, as another reviewer wrote, there was noise from the upstairs neighbor beginning at 6am on a Saturday. Inside the apartment, there were not blackout shades, and being right on the street/parking lot made us feel pretty exposed. The only lock for the apartment was on the round door handle (no dead bolt or sliding lock), which is not very secure. Not what we expected. To our host's credit, when I told him these issues he told me that he would work on fixing them for the future. I am sure he will do his best, because you can tell he wants it to be right.

Unit was clean and organized and host was very responsive. Our only complaint was that the unit is located on the first floor and we heard busy footsteps every morning at 6 am, otherwise the neighborhood felt safe and not overly busy considering it’s located across from a high school.

We were visiting family in town and wanted a place more than 4 walls and a couple of beds. This was the perfect alternative, allowing us to spread out and relax in place that feels like home!

This place was nicely put together and very clean. It was located in a pretty decent area, not too far from everything. Ali was very very communicative, and willing to tend to our needs. I would definitely stay again on my next trip to Chicago. Thank you Ali!

This was our first time visiting Chicago. The apartment was located in a decent location near downtown Chicago, about a 25 minute drive. We visited the neighborhood coffee shop-Whirlwird Roasters twice during our stay. The apartment is in good condition but take notice that it is located on the first level and we heard neighbors upstairs when we were trying to sleep. The owner Ali is polite, professional and we didn't have any issues with communication. Overall, a good stay in the Windy City!

Everything was clean, well-organized, and easy to find. The directions were spot on, communication from the owner was frequent, but not too much. Awesome stay.
