This studio is upscale and comfy, and roomy enough for us and 2 Pomeranians with crates. The owners are friendly, communicative, and accommodating. I loved the neighborhood— beautiful homes to admire while walking the dogs, and fabulous for stargazing at night— no street lights in Santa Barbara!

there was that yellow brown mold in the shower, bleach / water solution will cure that. the bath towels were a little rough, fabric softener would help. the tip toeing around and whispering after 9pm was a little not expected tile we got the 14 item list just before pour arrival.

This was in a great neighborhood and communication with the host was top-notch. The price was amazing for Santa Barbara. Very nice studio with everything we needed for a weekend stay, even snacks. Location was perfect for our events, all in Goleta. For purposes of a detailed review, there are some things that would be important to know. The description does mention the quiet hours starting at 9pm due to the shared wall with the host's bedroom, but we didn't realize just how thin the walls are. It was fine for my husband and I, but it might be an issue for others. There is no TV, and that could be why. The host was respectful of the quiet time rules too, which was great. Heard their bedroom door open in the morning and that was it. The walkway to the studio are small pebbles and it would be helpful for them to add walkway solar path lights. We used our cellphone flashlight. The bed faces the French doors and while there's a drape, it would be nice if it were a room darkening drape. On Saturday while we wanted to rest in the room for a few hours before our evening event, it was a bummer that the neighbor's gardener was using the leaf blower off and on for the entire 3 hours we were there. I started wondering if maybe they were doing something else? It was an extraordinarily long time to listen to that loud noise. Other than those things, we really enjoyed our stay, and lwe absolutely would stay there again.

This attached studio in a nice residential neighborhood was perfect for our stay in Santa Barbara for a wedding weekend. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, (though we never saw him) and provided clear and very easy check in and check out instructions. The studio provided everything that we needed and was well stocked, as our host thought of everything and provided water, snacks, beach towels and even baby oil to clean the tar off our feet from the ocean. The studio had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of utensils. We enjoyed our breakfast on the outside patio. The location was perfect for us since it was very close to exit 103 on the 101 freeway which allowed us to attend all the venues for the wedding weekend which were located all along exits 96-98 so easy access to the Santa Barbara beaches as well as beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. The unit did not have a television, but with internet access provided, we were able to watch what we wanted on our iPad. Only negative was that there was no exterior lighting so when we returned at night we had to use our flashlight to light the way.

Location was perfect for my needs. Room had everything needed for a short stay. Very peaceful.

I loved spending a few days here with my dogs. This place was close enough to the beaches to be where I wanted to be within 15 minutes, but also far enough from traffic that I didn't hear any noise. My dogs were happy to be away from the fireworks and the explosions that are common now in the city. For me, it was a peaceful and lovely experience.

We would have preferred meeting the homeowner upon checking in, especially since they had a list of requests having to do with sharing a wall like no showers after 9. We felt like we had to tiptoe around.The studio was very nice and well appointed.

Our stay was amazing and our pups loved the area. The studio was perfect for our needs and comfortable. I hope to book with Florian again in the near future.

We just had the most fabulous stay in Santa Barbara in a lovely off beat neighborhood. The host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and special. We loved the view of the garden and a full patio for use. Didn't want to leave!

We booked this property for a long weekend and it was exactly as advertised. Nothing extravagant but that's not what we wanted, anyway. We'd stay here again if we were in the area.

This is our second visit to this sweet place. Upgraded patio from the last visit. Very lovely! Bed is comfy, the owner has decorated this suite studio in lovely calming decor. The kitchenette was adequately stocked with all the basics, and added snacks! Cold filtered water, soda, crunchy snacks. Very thoughtful! Lovely walk in shower. We take our dogs with us and they were content in the space. Near places to explore. We will be back!

The room is adjacent to the owner’s bedroom so no noise of any kind is permitted. No showers , microwave, opening or closing of cabinets. Plus there is a plumbing business next door running power tools and hammers with barking dogs during the day. Not ideal for any type of nap.

The walk to the front door is gravel so you should arrive before sunset. Small unit but very nice place for 2.

It truly was very peaceful. My only suggestion would be to have a tissue box available. It was well worth the price.

This is a perfect place for a couple (or even a single) interested in privacy and easy access to UCSB or nearby beaches. Both are just a short drive. The studio enjoys a private patio/seating area for coffee/drinks in a peaceful neighborhood. I would certainly stay here again.

The space was very cute, comfortable and clean. The bedroom window opened up to a nice backyard view of the gardens. We had such a nice time with our small dog and we are definitely coming back!

The room is fine, but the location (5 miles from downtown) is a little inconvenient. The host will not allow you to talk in your room after 9pm. Probably best to rent this room if you are traveling by yourself.

Property was very clean inside; however the patio has a little messy from the recent storm. This was not a big deal has the property had equipment to quickly clean the patio. The only complaint I might have is that the studio was very cold. A small heater was provided but did not do much but take the chill off the air. Also, the property does have quiet time between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., which isn't a problem but even talking in what we felt were normal voices seemed too loud and we felt we had to whisper during most of the stay. This is a very beautiful property and very relaxing if you don't mind being ultra quiet.

We enjoyed our stay here with the one exception of the owners needing TOTAL quiet after 9:00 PM. They did advise the need for quiet since the unit shares a wall with their bedroom. However, I did not realize that would include being able to converse at a normal tone of voice. We ended up going to bed early ourselves since we could not even chat. What might improve this situation would be sound proofing this shared wall on both sides. Otherwise, we loved it!

We had an easy stay at this property. It had everything we needed in a quiet neighborhood with close access to the highway. Check in and check out were no problem.

The property is very nice as was the host, my only thing I didn’t see in the listing was about not having a TV and the quiet hours request of no showers or noise after 9pm as the property needs to have a noise deadening layer put on the bedroom wall and a change of the door that goes into the house from the rental space to eliminate the issue.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with the care and communication of the owner. It was a nice room and stress-free stay.
