My wife and I recently returned from a 6 night stay at the property. Our visit exceeded our expectations. The cottage and grounds were exceptionally clean. The cottage had everything we need for a great stay ! The on-site boat launch with dock and pet friendly property were definitely a deciding factor when we booked our trip. Location, location, location. This charming lakefront cottage was the perfect stay for my wife and I and our dog. The house had all the amenities we needed. And the location provides easy access to all the major local attractions.

This beautiful cottage is cozy, clean, and close to so many fun activities. The only downside was having to leave! We can't wait to be back!

The cottage was small compared to other places we've stayed but had everything we needed, so no complaints. We arrived to find little snacks and toys (chalk, water gun, water toy, bubbles) for my 5 year old which she loved. There was also a bottle of wine, pancake mix/syrup and all the smores fixings! The owners were around and very pleasant, the water/driveway/kayaks etc as noted are shared with the owners and nextdoor rental, thankfully ours were lovely, but if you arent into sharing it may not be for you. The area was cute, we took a few neighborhood walks, went to the nearby farm, walked to the country store/ice cream and mostly hung around the water/cottage. Lots of dining and grocery stores nearby. When we visited the water was high so there was no beach, but the water is shallow very far out so we didnt miss it. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I wanted a nice place on the water for a short mid-summer getaway. After looking at options, we decided to book this cottage on the shore of Lake Winnisquam. Our hosts, Karen and John, were great from the time we booked until the time we left. They live on the property so they are there whenever you need something, but they are not there policing your every move. They were the best hosts we have encountered in our many years of VRBO renting. The instruction book in the cottage was extremely helpful and covered everything including local restaurants and activities. The location and the setting of this cottage was exactly what we wanted. It was fully equipped, very clean and the views we so relaxing. This is a classic lakefront cottage that has some updates like a/c and large windows and a slider that overlooks the lake. We had our dog with us and Karen and John had bowls, blankets and a few toys for our four-legged buddy. We hope to return sometime in the future.

My husband and I absolutely loved the cottage and the location. The owners provided everything we needed (towels, beach towels, doggie towel, dog bowls, etc.). They even left a very tasty bottle of wine, smores, and pancake mix with syrup which was much appreciated. The mattresses are VERY comfortable! Our only issue was with the neighbors who were renting the property next door. The beach area is shared and they had a very large party of adults with 3 young kids and 3 dogs. We never had privacy outside and we never got to swim or relax outside without feeling like someone was watching us. Without them there it would have been the perfect vacation.

Property owners are kind and accommodating. The cottage is small and cozy. Having the boat ramp and dock in the yard is so convenient. I already booked another long weekend this year!

Cabin was just perfect - had all the needed amenities and was wonderful for a couple looking for a lakeside break. Convenient location, would definitely go back.

The cottage was homey and had everything we needed. There was a bottle of wine, ingredients for smores and pancake mix and syrup waiting for us. My favorite activity was watching birds on the lake early in the morning when it was quiet. It was a bit chilly and rainy for our week so we didnt play in the water but there were lots of toys on site. I would definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what we wanted, a simple cozy cottage steps from the water that was dog friendly for a relaxing weekend. We grilled dinners, dog walked, kayaked, drank coffee lakeside on the deck in the mornings and had drinks by the firepit while watching the sunset in the evenings. Our hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves very much and were grateful for a perfect weather weekend!

Perfect location for the Ironman70.3 race. My husband brought his fishing boat and our dog got to come too!

This place went beyond our expectations Karen as a host is phenomenal phenomenal the property leaves nothing to the imagination Everything you need is given to you The lake itself is beautiful clean I'm very big Having the dock right there made my boating experience Hassle free The use of all their toys Kayaks paddleboards tubes children's toys Was a godsend this way I didn't have to trailer all my other toys The views from the cabin are phenomenal Very very quiet lake There is a fire pit and a grill Add a boat ramp right on premise I cannot say enough about this property and it's host Thank you so very much Karen and John We will definitely see you guys next year during the season

Everything was amazing from start to finish. House was well stocked with anything you could need for cooking and cleaning. Comfortable and clean! Water front was beautiful! Very helpful property management. My husband and I agreed it was our best vacation ever!

This is the perfect cottage for your lake vacation! The property owners were so welcoming and the home was perfect for our small family. The view of the lake is unlike any other. We loved every minute.

Everything was easy at this location. Our contact Karen was helpful and got back to us on any questions we had right away. The cabin was neat and clean and trash and recycling could not have been easier to take care of. It was also great because we could easily bring our boat and unload and dock it on location. It was very dog friendly and Karen provided treats for our pup and there was a convenient and easy dog waste barrel nearby. Also, Karen gave our 7 year old son a water disc (so thoughtful) and fixings for s’mores and a bottle of wine for the adults! We can not wait to go back next year!!

Wonderful stay. Cute, cozy cottage right on the lake. I was looking for a comfortable place to enjoy a few days of relaxing, reading, and watching the activity on the lake. The cottage has great spaces for that both outside and inside. Karen was super accommodating, attentive, and available without being intrusive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting right on the water. It couldn't be prettier. So relaxing! The accommodations were perfect for us. Wonderful hosts!! They paid attention to lovely little details that made the stay extra special.

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our week spent at this property. From sunup to sundown there was always something to do. We would wake up every day and enjoy our coffee to a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage itself was a very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The beds and furniture were very clean and comfortable. The cottage was setup with folded towels, toilet paper, linens and a lot of things that we have had to bring to other lake houses we have rented in the past. From the second we booked it John and Karen were very quick and friendly in their responses. When we arrived there was a welcome kit that had wine, marshmallow roasting sticks, pancake mix, and maple syrup. There was also a binder listing all the entertainment in the area as well as things that were helpful to know for our stay. We brought a boat with us they even helped us launch and drive over from the boat ramp! There are not enough kind words in the world to describe the hospitality we received from our hosts. The lake itself was a whole other experience of its own. The sand bar was within sight of the dock so we spent a couple of days hanging out on it. The fishing was as also great! Every time my wife and I went out for an hour or 2 we never caught less than 3-4 fish a piece. Our pup also enjoyed her stay as well! Even on a couple of the days it rained there was always things to do in town or hanging in the house playing board games and watching cable. The entire week was amazing and it is a place that we would not hesitate to stay again! Thanks for a great week.

What an awesome stay. It was just perfect for what we needed. Even had water toys to enjoy. We took 2 of the 4 kayaks out and enjoyed. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed.in this charming cottage for 3 day weekend. Very clean and comfortable and so many nice amenities left by owner... S'mores fixings, a bottle of wine, kitchen spices and supplies. The view from the bedroom and the deck was amazing. We also had lots of fun using the kayaks. The location is great, near shopping, restaurants, weirs beach, etc. We had great time.
