We had a large group and this house facilitated everyone flawlessly. Between all the games, cooking supplies and space we had a trip to remember. Host was responsive and property was exactly as advertised.

Terrific home and location. It has everything most profecient home cooks could want. What's great is the owners don't throw out perfectly good left over cans/tubs/tubes/jars/bottles of condiments. It's got all you need for your stay. Fantastic stay.

This house has everything you could ever need and it’s only a 10m walk to a beautiful public lake access that we swam in daily. 10/10 recommend!

Overall, this home was great, because it provided us the opportunity to fit both sides of our family(party of 18) and the owner was great to communicate with. If there was an issue, he appreciated the feedback and the opportunity to fix the issue right away. Everyone had a great time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. We hung out mostly upstairs in the living room and deck area. We cooked all our meals for the 4 night stay, so having two fridges(one upstairs and one downstairs) was helpful to store all the food. It would have been nice to have more pantry space, but we made it work. We had 5 kids, and one of them was a 1 1/2 year old. It was nice the house had a baby gate, high chair and play yard. The backyard was not as kid friendly, but it was nice to be able to have a short drive to Commons Beach for them to play at the playground. Overall, we would stay here again!

This is an incredible rental property. We all agreed that we had never seen a VRBO or other home better-stocked. Condiments, cooking necessities, a pizza oven, extra propane, red solo cups, ping pong balls, even some beers in the fridge! These are elite and very communicative hosts. Great proximity to water, town, parks, and activities. We had a 10/10 experience and would urge any group to stay at this home. Thank you, hosts!

Our trip was absolutely perfect! Doug was so communicative and took care of every little detail. The house is amazing and huge so we fit very comfortably!

We had a very wonderful trip at the home. Host is very nice and respond very quick. Me and my family and friends had very wonderful time during the trip.

Perfect set up for our large family of many age groups. Sleeping arrangements accommodated all of us. Plenty of bathrooms too. Dining together at the large table each night was a highlight. In great weather the deck as well as the hot tub were nice for relaxing and taking visiting outside. Nice location between town and quiet neighborhood. Little ones needed to be watched with the slope of the land and stairways, but a provided stair gate inside was so appreciated. Hope the opportunity arises to stay at this property again!

The plans didn’t work out for us. However, the owner was very easy to reach and tried to work with us.

I visited Bear Lodge with a large group of friends, and we had an amazing time. Not only is the house gorgeous (recently renovated, great deck with lake views, hot tub, spacious kitchen), it accommodates a large group very functionally, and is exceptionally well-located (can walk to lake, bike to trails, grocery store is 5 minutes away). We found everything to be top notch and honestly would be hard-pressed to think of a single improvement. Thank you Doug and Grace, we hope to return soon!
