Cannot say enough nice things about our stay. It was clean, large enough for 19 adults comfortably, and a very easy check in / checkout process. The owner is very responsive and made everything easy. The area itself is beautiful and the property was perfect for our group. Hope to come back here again! 10/10!

Our family has been coming up to Angola for about 15 years. Our family now includes 6 adults and our 6 grandkids. We come up 2-3 times a year and I also host a golf outing each fall. Kim was a great host and would recommend her cottage to anyone.

This house is amazing! The bedrooms were sizable and just perfect for our family of 8 adults and 9 grandchildren. Everything was nicely stocked from the shampoos, towels, spices, firewood, games, on down. The only negatives were that the large rec room/bedroom with 6 bunk beds was very cold & couldn’t be changed. Also, the Ring smoke detectors/security lights in each bedroom were too sensitive….you couldn’t even roll over in bed without them coming on.

Everything was wonderful, clean, well stocked. The house was beautiful. It was big enough for 20 of us. The only downside was that there was a lot of stairs and taking food and luggage in and out was a lot of work. I would still stay there again! We loved it!

The property is great, equipped with kids games, this is our second time around, looking to come back for a 3rd time.

Plenty of space to gather a large family for meals and games yet enough separation for the kids to play while the adults catch up. Lots of updates and features to the home. Located next to the state park was a plus for hiking and horseback riding. Boat rental nearby provided kids with hours of water fun and sunset cruises. Owner was quick to respond to any questions/concerns. A great place to relax and restore.

A great spot for multigenerational family vacation!

The house was so clean, so well stocked, and so comfortable. We ate every meal in and the kitchen and grill made it very comfortable. There was an extra folding table downstairs which allowed us to extend the kitchen table for more seating. The weather wasn’t great so it speaks very highly of the house to be comfy for 20 family member + a few babies. Probably could use an extra trash bin considering how many guests the home can hold.

We had a great vacation, the house was in excellent condition, very clean with many updates. We brought our boat as well.. the location of the property on the water is great. It is very centrally located, and the kids loved waking up and driving the boat to Tom's Donuts.. which is about a 3 minute boat ride. The owners were great to work with and very responsive!

We held our corporate executive retreat for three days. The house worked perfect for us and Kim was very responsive and great to work with!

The property contained all the amenities for young and old. It was a family reunion with children from 4 to 24 and their parents plenty of room, comfortable beds and enjoyment to stay.

Plenty of room to eat, drink and play games as we enjoyed family time over Thanksgiving. Beds for everyone, kitchen well stocked, and lots of alternative gathering areas for our group (16). Management was very responsive for any of our questions. Thank you.

We gathered family at this wonderful home, ranging in age from 10 weeks to 68. Everything was perfect. The set up of the bedrooms were great, with one even having a set of bunk beds for a full family to share. The "kids" room with several bunks, games and a TV on the first level was enjoyed by all.

Great getaway for my daughter’s bachelorette party everyone had a wonderful time. Would be a great place for large families to enjoy and have fun.

We held our wedding ceremony on the patio. Beautiful scenery on a lake setting. Family and friends all enjoyed their stay. It was a perfect getaway. Great location.

Wow what a great property! Everything was super clean and house instructions were simple and easy to follow. The bunk room is great for a family gathering with lots of children. Mother in law suite has least amount of steps for older guests. Kitchen had great appliances (coffee toaster crockpot etc) and everything you need for a large feast prep. Kimberly was super responsive and the sunsets at this house are gorgeous. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great house, great lake, great owner who responded quickly to every question. 18 of us fit perfect. The kids room with 6 bunk beds was a hit for all 11 kids. The 4 adult couples each had their own bed and bathroom.

We had a wonderful time during our week at Lake James and this house was the perfect set up for our family. We loved being so close to the water and walking right out to our boat. The house was stocked nicely and allowed us to enjoy our week together. The views of the lake are incredible and the location made it easy if we had to run to the store for groceries. Having the state park so close was also a big hit for our kids. I can’t say enough how great this house is. We booked it for next year on our 3rd day of this stay because we were so happy with how perfect it was. We are looking forward to our next lake vacation and we have been home less than a week! Thank you Kimberly for being such a great host! Your house is beautiful.

This property has lots of space. Our group of friends had nine adults so we used all bedrooms except the bunk room. Appreciated that each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Beautiful views of Lake James from all bedrooms except the bunk room and mother-in-law suite, which is its own little apartment with bed/bath, full kitchen, living area, and laundry. Main floor and lower level have living areas with comfortable seating and large windows for great views. We were able to store the boat trailer in the garage and still could have put a car on the other side. Room for 2-3 vehicles across the driveway. Dock has space for two boats. Plenty of outdoor seating. Must go down one flight of steps to enter property from the driveway or garage. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend this property for a lake vacation.

The house was perfect for the amount of people we had staying. Very spacious. will definitely be coming back.

We had twenty of us total. The house handled that many people easily. Well stocked and very nice. The only concern is that it has many, many steps to get from the lower level to the upper level so everyone must be able to handle stairs.

We had a wonderful experience over the 4th of July! The house is amazing and lakefront patio and dock gave us much needed outdoor space. Perfect!

The property is fantastic for large groups that want to do a lake weekend. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax with friends and family. The outdoor area has plenty of space to park a rental boat and it is centrally located. We can’t wait to go back!

We could not be happier with our stay this past weekend! Kimberly was very accommodating and the house couldn't have been more beautiful. Plenty or room for everyone to be comfortable and have some privacy while having everything on hand for the weekend (towels, cooking utensils, etc.) Amazing stay and plan on returning next year!
