We only stayed for one night, but we had a good experience! The bed and even the couch futon were really comfortable!

Way to small for 2 adult women and one 11 year old child. No bedding for the futon anywhere in site. Key pad on front door took forever to get in. Gravel front and back, no outside seating of any kind. Neighborhood was questionable at best. Shower was the size of a small refrigerator box. Grandson could not raise his arm to wash his hair in the shower, accidentally broke one of the dispensers as the shower was that SMALL. However I will pay 40.00 dollars for one of the dispenser bottles as requested by the owner. Will never stay there again.

The rental property exceeded our expectations. It is centrally located and is easy to get to the lake, and either north or south side of town. It is a very clean property with great amenities. We will definitely be looking for this same rental on our next visit to Carlsbad, NM. We had trouble using our code to get into the rental upon our arrival. The property manager was quick to resolve that issue. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Loved the way the house was Western-themed decorated. Clean, with everything you need to stay in and cook. Super responsive host, it was perfect!

The nondescript exterior belies the adorable interior. Unlike some places, the furniture is solid (as opposed to “third hand”) and the place is cutely decorated. Comfortable bed, solid couch, fully functional kitchen. The bathroom is rather small, but - like the rest of the interior - it is newly renovated and extremely clean.

My friend and I came to stay here so we could go hiking in the Guadalupe mountains and visit the Carlsbad caverns. This was a great place to come back to and rest. It was clean, comfortable and cozy!

Very pleasant stay. There are no complaints throughout, I struggled a bit with the air conditioning, but in the end I understood the system, but that was obviously my problem. Very cute house, I hope to come back again.

We stayed for a few days while visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mtns NPs and it was the perfect location. About an hour to Guadalupe, and 30 minutes to the caverns, there really isn't a better location to stay. Clean house, perfect for two people (one bed, one futon). 3-5 minute drive to many local restaurants/coffee shops. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the property, very cozy. and had everything we needed. Left early due to closure of the Caverns and weather. will try to return again.

The property is very nicely kept and as described. The only downside was the air conditioner in the bedroom was very noisy as was the one in the neighboring unit which vibrates the wall behind the bed. Ended up sleeping on the futon in the living room the second night.

Comfortable, clean, nicely furnished. We were very happy with this little house and hope to use it again when we return.

This is a small house suitable for one or two people for a few nights. It appears to have been renovated recently because everything (lights, heater, plumbing) works just as it should. As well, the walls are unmarred - freshly painted - and the woodwork and interior doors are in great shape. The floor is pretty sharp, too, especially the shower floor - it's inset with smooth, three-inch river pebbles the create an attractive non-slip surface like none I've ever seen before. The home is located in a blue-collar neighborhood not too different from the one I grew up in. It is a short walk (10 minutes) to both the Yellow Brix restaurant and the Carlsbad Museum and Art Park. The owner communicated promptly each time I had a question. In all, this is a well-maintained, well-run rental.
