The listing says they provide beach towels and I also asked Vacasa two days prior to confirm. They confirmed it did. There were no beach towels. They also only had 6 towels for a house of 11 people. Had to ask them for more towels. There are also cockroaches. First time we’ve seen them in any rentals. It’s a great place and so convenient to walk a few steps to the beach.

The closeness to the beach. The number of bathrooms as our group was mostly women. The kitchen was laid out well for so many cooks. View was good both inside and out. Porch was great.

Absolutely stunning location on Dauphin Island. Porch facing the ocean was a great place to have family meals and watch the waves while enjoying the breeze. The bedrooms were stocked and had comfy beds. The furniture in the living room was clean but needed to be replaced. The reason for the 3 star rating was related to roaches. We are from the south and have experienced palmetto bugs, flying roaches and roaches in general. The number of roaches we experienced was excessive. The house manager provided a can of roach spray, which helped but did not fully solve the issue. They sent out an exterminator which helped as well. We would have preferred to not have to deal with roaches every night.

We loved the how close the house was to the beach, it’s not that far to walk to the beach. Like that every bedroom has its own bathroom. But they need to add a patio table and chairs to the deck. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the sunrise and sunsets.

We enjoyed our week on the island, and will rent this house again. The house didn’t have a dust pan or vacuum. Towards the end of the week, there was so much sand on the floor and we were just having to sweep it in a corner.

Looked like perfect very $$$ beach home Great location for two grandparents to take three grands, ages 6, 5, and 3. Walked up front stairs the place looked good on inside. Then it went south. Stairs on beach side were a total incomplete work of art. The bottom steps were never completed and extremely impossible for two grands so grandkids were out of luck. We had to start making a step which was not part of what a vacation should be to let kids go up and down. The area around the rental was as if construction was on going. Siding pieces all around, boards n nails all around, sad to say. You do not rent a beach house unless it is safe n complete. Inside we had no water when we arrived. It was cut off by someone or management. Opened fridge to put groceries and smelled life island fish market. Lady that we called to get water problem solved said she would come bring something to fresh it like it should be. Guess what. NO SHOW. Time to go to bed and the fans in two bedrooms threw circuit and never worked. When you charge the price you do, no one should have to this many problems. VERY much not a happy renter.

The house is lovely with high ceilings and numerous beds. There is a house in front of this one that partially blocks the ocean view, but there is still a beautiful view from the kitchen sink. Such adorable furnishings and details throughout. Keurig was a big plus. The beach is only steps away. My only con is that nowhere in the listing is it mentioned that there is construction next door. It’s really annoying to go to the beach and hear construction sounds louder than the crashing waves.

The name of this house is perfect because hopefully I’ll be back! Very clean & nicely furnished.

Great time with plenty of room!

The house was everything I expected. Loved the big sitting area and each bedroom having its own bath. The outside deck area is awesome with pit, chairs, picnic table and swing. Like where you can rinse off from beach before entering home. My favorite is that it's such a close walk to the beach. I'm definitely planning on returning and staying at "Isle Be Back." Thanks

This house was perfect for our group of 4 couples And 2 children. The location/ proximity to the beach can’t be beat! Having the full kitchen and 4 full bathrooms really was convenient as well. The house was really nice and equipped with everything we needed!

“Isle Be Back” is right! The place had everything I needed and was so well-suited to bring my dog. Everything was clean, the location was quiet and it’s steps away from the beach — perfect! Only issue I ran into was I couldn’t get the gas grill to start. Could’ve been user error or the tank was empty … really could go either way! Still ate and truly enjoyed my stay. Also appreciated getting a check-in call from Monique at Vacasa — made me feel well taken care of:) Thank you!

Steps from the water, easy beach access. Each bedroom has a bathroom, which was convenient when everyone wanted to get cleaned up at the same time. Table and countertop area allowed for our large extended family to enjoy meals together. Beds are comfortable, house nicely furnished. Spacious patio with porch swing is a perfect reading spot.

Great property, beautiful beach, morning rains, afternoon sun. Loved the privacy allowed by the design of the house.

Absolutely perfect vacation home! Brand new house so everything is pristine. The house is directly on the beach, when you walk down the stairs your feet hit the sand. I was amazed at how many shells littered the beach! They have two antigravity beach chairs and a little fold up table with cupholders as well as 4 plastic Adirondack chairs to take to the beach. No wagon needed as you are just steps away from the water. You will need to bring beach toys, shovels, buckets, nets, umbrella, etc. as they do not provide these. They graciously supply you with 3 laundry detergent pods, 3 dishwashing pods, small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a brand new, still in the wrapper, sponge along with a few extra trash bags. The island is very small which is great because it means fewer people! I recommend doing your shopping at Walmart in Mobile as the little quickie mart on the island is very expensive. I highly recommend this vacation home!

There are 4 bedrooms in the 4 corners of the house and the living room/kitchen/and dining room are in the middle. The house is 40’ from the water and is behind another home but there is still a fantastic ocean view. It is about 35 minutes from Walmart and about 8 minutes from the local grocery store (minimally stocked). It is fantastic to get away from everything for a week and do absolutely nothing. The house had great WiFi and the TVs all had internet TV (Netflix, basic cable, etc). The sunrise from the ocean just down the steps is amazing and the sunset down the street (.5 mile walk) (since homes block view) is equally amazing. We caught black drum, red drum, trout, catfish, whiting, and croaker all just from the shore by the house.
