Very clean and spacious. Pool was everything and more

Just finished 5 days in Palm Springs. This property was as advertised with comfortable layout both indoors and outdoors. Pool and hot tub were used daily. House was clean and communication with owner was easy. One thing to note is this property is located near the airport. It wasn’t a problem for our stay but you do hear and see the planes taking off/landing. Would definitely stay here again.

The best feature of this property is the backyard pool/spa area with a view of the mountains. It is very private and quiet, except for the nearby airport noise. The beautiful garden is colorful and well maintained. The large spa heats quickly to 104 degrees. Other amenities include very comfortable beds, nice linens, abundant indoor and outdoor towels, and a well equipped kitchen with updated appliances. The side yard provides a shady place for a game of ping pong or bocce ball. We also enjoyed the clean, modern, built-in barbecue. The location is purely residential, but there is a grocery store and shopping area about a mile away. It is an easy 5-10 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. For tennis lovers, there are free public courts at nearby Ruth Hardy park. Our hosts were very responsive to the couple of minor issues that arose during our two-week stay. We would be happy to rent from them again.

I chose this property largely due to all the positive reviews. However, after our experience, I seriously question the authenticity of those reviews & wonder how long this one will stay up. We booked a month long stay for February. The home was dirty when we arrived; bugs squished on walls, toothpaste in the sink, hair in shower drains, dirt/dust in corners, drawers not wiped out & the ceiling furnace grill was literally caked & dripping with dirt, etc. It was clear the home has had a steady churn of rentals over the years and care/maintenance has been neglected -inside & out. Furnishings, towels & fixtures are generally warn out - the home is in general disrepair. The kitchen is poorly equipped with mismatched, cheap dishes. The worst part was the odor that originated from the laundry room and permeated the entire home. After immediately raising my concerns, the host sent in a cleaning crew & brought plug-in air fresheners. After a couple weeks, both my husband & I began to fall ill. It turned out we were suffering from natural gas poisoning from a leak at the connection to the dryer. It took my initiative to get it repaired, although the host had insisted the odor was not gas. On top of that, the CO alarm in the home was damaged and not working. There are number of other safety concerns - particularly exposed wiring & dangerous electric fixtures in the back yard. Needless to say, we vacated early. Frankly, we feel lucky to have gotten out of this experience alive!

Me and my family had an amazing time at this place. The back yard is an oasis, we spent most of our time there. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be going back.

Alex’s place is so nice and quiet although it’s close to the airport it didn’t bother us one bit. The kitchen is a great place to hang out. Great for watching football from the bar area. The backyard is exceptionally nice, love the artwork. The only challenge was getting the jacuzzi to heat up. All in all we definitely would recommend and we will be back. Thanks, Jay & Pam

The property looked as depicted in the pictures -- no disappointments. Communication with the host and check in was excellent. The home was well equipped and comfortable. After a long drive (much longer than expected) it was nice to see some cookies left as a snack at check in. The whole family enjoyed the stay.

The home was everything we could have wanted! Gorgeous landscaping! Everything was in working order and the layout of the house was so conducive to family interaction with one another. When back in the area this will be our “GoTo” house.

We truly enjoyed our staycation at this Palm Springs getaway. Alex, our host was incredibly accommodating and helpful with our needs. We'll be back.

My husband and I stayed here with our 5 year old daughter. We all had a blast and spent lots of time in the backyard. Host was very hospitable.

Property was very nice but smaller than expected. Lightning was poor. Most of the spots in the central area were out (or we couldn’t find the switch despite numerous efforts). Paid for spa heating for entire stay but appeared to work only one day. Cleaning crew showed up more than an hour before our departure time and had to come back at the checkout time. TVs did not have normal channels only various options such as Netflix.

Nice place to stay for a family trip. House looks clean and nice. Home has just about everything you need. A great place to BBQ, Swim and good sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is also big enough for a few cooks with nice appliances. The home is close to the city but not close enough that it’s busy or noisy. Home also has a lot of fans that help you stay cool. It has great AC to keep you cool at night. Nice fridge and freezer. Laundry room to clean your stuff before you go home. The home contact was easy to get a hold of with great response when I had questions. I highly recommend this home

We spent one day just hanging out at the house in the pool and sun. We did have a little trouble figuring out the remote for the spa and pool but got the hang of it. Having the tennis channel available to watch was a plus. The host was very responsive to questions and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Magnífico lugar super limpio muy agradable

Loved the house!. It was just a little close to the airport but I enjoyed watching the planes taking off over head while sunning in the back yard. Everything we needed and more plus it was a great place for our dogs! Thanks for accommodating us.

My girlfriends and I stayed in this home for a wonderful four day trip. The house was clean, well appointed, great location and the backyard pool area was perfect. We loved our stay would highly recommend.
