Host was very helpful and friendly and view and location was great. Building/apartment and furnishing were bare bones but fit our needs for the trip.

This place is a gem! It’s not fancy or frilly and it’s a bit tired but for us that was perfect. No worries about messing anything up. Very easy to keep clean. Great for our family of four. We like “no shoes worn upstairs” - keeps it clean! Nice organic shampoo/cleansers, etc. even extra toothbrushes and trash bags provided. Towels aplenty and lofty. Great communication with rental company. The place had everything we needed. One point of caution which was actually nice but important to know about - WATER WAS VERY VERY HOT! Don’t flush toilet during shower. But the upside was plenty of hot water which was great for cleaning and a family of four - much better than the opposite right!? Just be careful. Beds were firm and solidly supportive, not too hard; and I have a bad back. I was happy with that. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS UNIT both for the value and the location/experience. We hope to rent it again on a future visit.

Comfy and relaxing vacation spot. Conveniently close to the Commons and Collegetown. Beautiful view of the creek from the house. Excellent natural lighting. And the water boiler was a blessing.

This was an extremely convenient spot that checked a lot of boxes. Very close to Ithaca Commons, yet parking was easy. Having the separate bedrooms was key for us. Thanks for the local walks advice, waterfall on path just up the street was "Gorges", even in low water. Very economical for the location. Thanks a bunch.

It was also very affordable and convenient to everything you need. The owner communicated with me frequently and responded quickly. This is the place to stay while visiting Ithaca.
