We stayed for an all-adult, family get-together. This is a big house with lots of sleeping space. The great location is accessible to all the local sites & attractions you expect at Lake Okoboji. The outdoor facilities are awesome. The owners were quick to respond and very helpful from start to finish. I ranked the cleaning 4/5 as we had a couple of minor issues that the owner offered to remedy right away (dirty socks in a drawer, the coffee maker still had grounds in it, and cobwebs) but we took care of them ourselves. The owners apologized. Nothing major that would ever stop us from returning and close to a 5/5 but not a 5/5. This is what I think needs to be clearer in the house description: the house is three bedrooms plus an open loft (which they describe) and a sun-type porch off the kitchen/breakfast area that has been converted into a bedroom. This sun porch windows have coverings but it also has double doors with full windows to the outside and into the kitchen, and no window coverings on either. So if you plan to use this as a bedroom understand there is zero privacy. It also was very warm in the room and I could not find an ac/heater vent. Overall this is a great place, I think there just needs to be some clarifications made on the description. I do recommend this home and we would stay again.

Went in Summer months. It was a nice location, close to walking path. Had 3 generations of family staying in home. Biggest complaint from all were the beds and the thick plastic coverings on them. The bed I wasn’t in was not the most comfortable to begin with but the thick plastic covering on was ridiculous.. Have stayed in other VRBOs and haven’t had this type of thick plastic covering mattress before. Also, for those having to sleep on loft side of A frame, no privacy.

My entire family (17 total) stayed here over Labor Day weekend. We really enjoyed this property. The house is easy to get to and in a quiet neighborhood. Check in was super easy. There is plenty to do on the property and a walking/biking trail close. We brought a boat which was easy to put in and take out daily as the ramp is right down the road. There was plenty to space for everyone. Our only complaint was that the sleeping area on the patio has no curtains on the doors going outside or on the sliding door into the house. The loft area was quite warm also, but there is a fan provided which helped. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay at this property again.

It was great! We all left with a ton of chigger bites though. Not sure if we got these outside or if there was something in the house potentially.

It was a nice property for our family and we had beautiful weather.

This is a beautiful well-appointed home! Had everything we needed for our stay. The kids enjoyed being able to fish right off the dock. Plenty of parking for everyone. The outdoor space was perfect; however, it rained during our entire stay, so we weren’t able to use it much. The games in the garage were a lifesaver for the teens during our rainy weekend. Would definitely stay again!!

The property was great and just as listed. The beach area was nice with lots of outdoor seating. There was plenty of sleeping areas for our party of 13. With 2 living rooms there was plenty of space inside with a tv in almost every room. The only down side is the bedroom in the top of the A-frame lacks privacy. There is one large refrigerator and a dorm refrigerator but another full size refrigerator would be great.

This property is beautiful lakefront with plenty of room for a large family get-together. We enjoyed the nice patio and waterfront location. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals. Nice family memories were made here. Communication with host was very responsive for any questions we had.

We all enjoyed our short stay very much. Beautiful view of lake. Spacious home for our large group. Everything we needed and more. Thank you.

Setup to handle a multi family vacation at the lake.

We were very pleased with the house and its location. The house was big enough for the 11 of us to not feel crowded. The location was quiet and right on the lake. The children played in the lake by the dock. The hosts supplied inner tubes, kayaks, and games. We would definitely rent this property again.

This beautiful lake property was perfect for our first Okoboji experience. We loved the big space, and that it was almost 2 separate houses in one, which worked great for privacy but still being all under one roof. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Great Times

We had a large group and the property met our needs. Thekitchen and garage area were great. The dock and outdoor patio were excellent. Check in and out processes were a breeze. I would definitely recommend this place.
