We loved this house. The location was great. Having the lagoon right out the front door was really cool. Loved the screened in areas, proximity to the ocean, and all of the great neighborhood amenities. We made a fire at the beach using the fire pits and that was really fun. Highly recommend this house!

great location, quiet and good furnishings. Our only complaint was it smelled like cats and was confirmed when we discovered a litter box under steps in closet.

Wonderfull house at a terrific spot. Well maintained, fully equipped, nice atmosphere and overall clean. We enjoyed sitting outside, at the backyard and cooking in the cosy kitchen. Only suggestion: put curtains in the master bedroom. The fins cause noise through the fan. Turning it up slightly fixes this, but keep it too bright in the room.

The first thing we noticed about the rental was how quiet it was. You could not hear highway one. We loved all the Florida vegetation and the sounds of the birds. The rental was very clean and well set up for a family. We enjoyed stopping by the local fish market and cooking at the rental. All the appliances were in great shape, including the grill. My teens really enjoyed swimming and relaxing in the lagoon and two pools, after our morning snorkel trips. The rental was in a great location for Key Largo snorkeling, kayaking, and restaurants. We recommend 'The Fish House. I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great family vacation.

The condo was clean, well-maintained and fully stocked. Newer appliances, confortable beds. The grounds were beautiful with plenty of opportunities to walk, swim or just sit in a chair. Loved the lagoon, the beach and the point where sunset was lovely. Close to great restaurants, grocery store, etc. Daniel was easy to work with a quick to answer me when I had a question. Will definitely be back.

We had so much fun staying here. The lagoon is stocked with fish and great for swimming and snorkeling. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from the private resort jetty. The property is centrally located for day trips to Everglades NP, Biscayne NP and Key West, all of which we did. Great and friendly communication with the property manager. The townhouse is fully stocked with amenities and walking/short driving distance to several restaurants if you don’t feel like cooking. Highly recommend!

The property was as nice and as described. It’s great for a small group and is close to lots of bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We got in and out without a hitch. The place was clean and in good repair. The lagoon was a very interesting place for us. We don’t see fish like that in our home state. The heated pool was also a great hit.

Everything was fantastic, but like an earlier guest's review we just found the beds and living area (couch) to be very uncomfortable. The townhome and complex were perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the porch, sitting by the lagoon, riding bikes around, and kayaking. I appreciate all the extras Daniel provides - especially when the weather didn't cooperate for diving. Very clean rental.

The unit is newly remodeled. The kitchen is outstanding with high quality utensils, cookware, appliances, and host also provided some spices and other basics. Great location and pictures are accurate. But the stay had some issues that included a very noisy air conditioner. The condo was cool but the fan never turned off snd was very noisy. The AC unit is locked in a closet in the master bedroom. I downloaded an App to measure the noise and the decibel level was 75 with several measurements in the 90s. Hearing damage happens at 80. I messaged owner several times and he didn’t respond until the next day. He said the VRBO email didn’t function so he didn’t get messages until the next day. It would have been easy to turn off the AC because temps were cooler outside, but tenants do not have any access to thermostat. AC guy came and cleaned the unit and it improved but didn’t fix the issue. Owner came by and we asked him to turn off for our last night. So we had 3 out of 4 nights bad sleep and owner didn’t offer a partial refund at all. He did offer a dinner out or bottle of wine but we had already eaten snd we’re leaving the area the next day. Because of the noise I slept in the master bedroom as well as on the couch and neither are comfortable. The master has a squeaky double bed. The pull out couch is awful to sleep on. When people pay over $400 per night, they want a comfortable queen or bigger bed with high quality bedding. This was one stay on an extended vacation. There were only two of us but we booked this place because we wanted to have our own bedroom space and enjoy hanging out at the property. It would have been helpful to have detailed information about how to use the property amenities.

My friends and I had a fantastic time! The house was very, very clean from top to bottom. The location within the community is awesome with a view of the lagoon. Don't forget to check out the marina area where there is some spots to get great views of the ocean! Would definitely come back!

Some good friends and I, all in our late 40’s early 50’s, headed down for a week of scuba diving. We were more stoked for the diving than where we were our accommodations upon booking. That changed when the diving visibility turned bad. Dans place turned out to be perfectly located to everything we needed; great restaurants, dive shops, and grocery stores were all within a mile. Don’t worry about if the internet is fast enough. All of us worked while there and we had no connectivity issues. There is a very well stocked kitchen and gas grill, which helped keep our restaurant bills small. The place is incredibly clean and all the beds are new and very comfortable. Also, the smaller of the two pools is cooled down and incredibly refreshing after a day in the sun. Rent with confidence folks. Dans renovation is well done, you won’t regret staying here.

Thoroughly enjoyed renting this property with my sister and family visiting from Scotland. The unit is updated, very clean, and accommodated very well for our group of 7. Thanks Dan for making possible for us a most memorable July 4th!

This property was absolutely beautiful!! It fit my family of 7 perfectly!! There was so much to do and enjoy on the property and very close by!! Would highly recommend and would love to come back!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved seeing the iguanas walking around and looking at all the fish in the lagoon. The kayaks were great as well. The place was very, very clean and tastefully decorated. There is every kitchen appliance you could think of, everything from a coffee maker to a waffle iron to a rice cooker. Communication with the owner was great. 10/10

The property is compact for four of us but saying that it was beautifully laid out. I like to cook with friends and for the first time ever I never used any of the extra utensils etc that I bring with me. It was very well stocked. The place was well maintained. The ownerDan couldn’t have been kinder. He really pays attention to the small details that make a difference He was gracious and allowed an early check in. The place was a piece of paradise and a slice of heavens Key Largo style. Highly recommended to others

We loved it, this would not be for every family (nor every vacation). Condo was very new and clean, Dan the owner was there to help with any issues. The two upstair bedrooms are smallish, as was the unit. All new appliances, tvs, etc. It's a funky development, there's a quarry/lake out front that had a ton of fish and was a huge part of the stay. Pools were very small, but super heated and fun. I do very highly recommend, just be aware this is not your typical cookie cutter place!

The property was very clean. Looked out over a lagoon. Beds and couch just not that comfortable. Kitchen very well appointed. Location is great for all Key Largo and driving south to other keys.

My daughter is a senior and this was our last spring break together. I took her and two of her best friends. We had an amazing time. They loved the lagoon and the property was amazing. The home was cute and very clean. Very nice getaway spot!
