The cabin was very clean and spacious. It was nice to sit on the porch on the rocking chairs. We enjoyed our stay! The host was responsive to any questions we had and was so kind. Thank you!

The house accommodated four adult couples nicely. We think that when renting you should be aware that it's a very windy road to get to the house and the driveway is steep and cured. We chose to be in the house before dark for that reason.

The location was good, the house was clean, and the host was very prompt to respond to any questions I had.

Very nice property with amenities! Hot tub, dishes, plants of room for 13 people on our trip! We had a great time. Our lights went out as well as the neighbors due to bad weather but the owner of us very available and even offered to get us flashlights. We were updated every hour overall will definitely consider booking at this lodge again. Every property has pros and cons and pros outweigh all cons of this property. Personally, the only con was the driveway, which was very steep and difficult to drive into. This is my new in comparison to the actual property in our stay in the Smokies.

We drove from Ohio and our daughter and her family came from Florida. It’s about half way for us. The location is absolutely beautiful! The cabin had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck the most. We don’t have anything bad to say about the place. Be prepared for the steep driveway. It’s not bad once you get used to it. We would definitely recommend to others.

We were looking for a cabin for a long weekend getaway. My brother is stationed in Virginia so he was able to meet us at the cabin and spend the weekend together. The cabin was perfect size and everything was so easy and simple. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

I met up with my family from NC for my 6 year olds Spring Break and we were not disappointed. The house was great! Nice open space in the family area and the rooms were a great size as well. Loved sitting outside on the back porch in the rocking chairs with my grandson too. My oldest daughter and her husband enjoyed the jacuzzi as well. I personally would reserve this cabin again if I come back to Gatlinburg. No complaints.

Big beautiful cabin! Great view of the woods/mountains. Nice and clean. Very responsive and nice owner. had a great time with extended family. Slept 6 adults and 4 kids comfortably.

We had a amazing time. We where able to experience a little snowflake but mostly enjoying the comfort of the place.

Came to town for a volleyball tournament with family. Location was great. Check in was easy and directions were perfect. We used Waze and it was spot on. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so everyone had their own bathroom. Convenient and comfortable. We loved our stay. Will be back next year for next years tournament.

We had a great time celebrating Christmas in Gatlinburg. Scott was super responsive, the home was just as advertised, and the home was even decorated for the holidays! That was a nice little surprise. We took advantage of all the house had to offer, using all the games and stretching our legs walking around the neighborhood after some pretty hefty holiday meals. Access to downtown Gatlinburg and groceries was a cinch. Thanks again, Scott!

Great property for a holiday getaway! It accommodated our group of 11 nicely. We especially appreciated the two main level bedrooms and baths for those with limited mobility. This property had everything we needed and was conveniently close to town. Very clean and comfortable.

Smoky Bear Lodge is a comfortable cabin with close proximity to the tourist strip in Gatlinburg. The entrance to Black Bear Falls subdivision is enchanting, however the driveway into Smoky Bear Lodge is steep and difficult to navigate without someone exiting the car to watch for approaching traffic. The four rooms are adequate, two up and two down, but you can hear the adjacent room movement, snoring and walking upstairs. There is no view off the decks. Trees are in the way. The game room is outdated, the pullout sofa bed would not collapse back in its frame, and the pool table was off balance with no usable sticks due to the previous renters' abuse. Despite the negatives, we enjoyed the cozy living room and fireplace and our group of 8 made the best of our time in the leaf-changing, colorful Smoky Mountains.

We had a great time at Black Bear Falls place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend staying there!

The property was great for our group. The four bedrooms/bathrooms and two different common areas gave everyone space. Very easy checkout and checkin process.
