Ease of check in (once we found the lodge without a map of the site) Very spacious inside. Plenty of bedding and cookware. 2 sitting rooms. Hot tub. Good maintenance man to fix problems. Nice bathrooms and whirlpool bath.

Oven old with missing dials and difficult to operate and poorly maintained.Gas hob had no gas coming through so couldn't use. Cooker hood light broken.TV had not been programmed and had been locked needing code, so wouldn't work and had to be reprogrammed by maintenance. Huge windows in living areas were blown with ugly white stains so not pleasant to look at. Hot tub set at 40 degrees! far too hot and settings all locked. Impossible to alter and couldn't turn off jets. Instructions were for a different hot tub so made no sense. Maintenance called for that too. Patio shoddy condition, cobwebs everywhere and looked out on small pond not large lake, so photos were misleading. Patio furniture basic and uncomfortable. Owners need to address these points and check all facilities are working after each stay.

Good space indoors and out, fluffy towels and robes. Well equipped kitchen.

Hygiene could be better as lots of debris under settees and behind units in bedroom from previous guests. There was mould in the jet system in the jacuzzi bath. The decor needs modernising. Soft furnishings need cleaning and potentially replacing as out dated. The dishwasher detergent drawer not opening so had to set timer to open manually. The decked area full of cobwebs and in need of a clean. BBQ side tables which are plastic all melted and food from previous guests left on BBQ 🤢 These things need checking between guests. One of sinks in bathroom blocked and shaving lights not working. Freezer needs defrosting as full of old ice and difficult to open drawers.
