We really had a great time and this house is in the perfect spot. Certain things could use a little updating but for the most part, the house was nice and clean when we arrived, and we definitely enjoyed our stay. You can't get any more beach front than this. The deck is perfect for watching the sunset or just relaxing if you don't want to be on the sand all day. Everything is within walking distance and if you are looking for a great place to eat, World Famous is a must. There were only a couple of things we wished we would have known before arriving. I will warn you, there are a lot of stairs. There were stairs to go from the ground floor to the 2nd floor where the front door is. The 2nd level has two bedrooms and a bathroom. There's another set of stairs to get to the 3rd level, which is the main level where the living room, kitchen, dining and primary suite are. There's an elevator but guests aren't allowed to use it. This is not a property for someone that has difficulty with stairs. There was a QR code on the fridge that told us a little more about the house that wasn't mentioned in the original description, so I brought things that I wasn't sure it had like a blender, wine glasses, etc. We rent a beach house every year and there's usually an inventory list of things they provide. It could really use a few more kitchen utensils. There were only 5 forks. I read a previous comment that there were only 5 forks but I assumed that would have been taken care of and restocked already. There's a small pub table on the patio with two barstools. The table was extremely weathered and the wood was peeling off. We ended up buying a cheap table cover at the store to cover it. We couldn't find a broom anywhere so if we wanted to clean up some sand, there was only a vacuum cleaner. Other than that, the house was stocked with paper towels, TP, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, dishwashing soap, towels, some beach towels, a few beach chairs, an umbrella and plenty of sand toys and boogie boards in the garage. The tandem parking is a little narrow. It may not be big enough for a full size truck or SUV. We were able to get my Camry in with the mirrors tucked in but it was tight. The nice thing is once you're there, you can walk everywhere so we never took the cars out until we were ready to leave. We would definitely return to Mission Beach.

Great great room layout and large patio to enjoy fresh ocean air, boardwalk, beach and sunsets! Kitchen full with everything to make all meals on site. Location was perfect!

pictures on post are a lie. Broken Table, broken umbrella and cabinets. Sofa and chairs very dirty. arcadia doors broken. Unable to turn the A/C to desired temperature All trashes full, TVs did not work, and it was advertised for 8 people and it only had enough silverware for 5. Patio covered in bird poop. Rusted and dirt grill.Tried to contact property manager 3 times and no response.

The view is amazing. The condo was clean. The beds could be updated. The tandem garage barely fits a mid size SUV. A full size would not fit. It would have been nice to have additional sand chairs and sand toys. There were limited items for such a large unit that holds so many guests.

Home was very clean. Excellent location. Lots of room for 6 of us. Couldn’t ask for a better view of the ocean. So nice to sleep with the windows open and hear the ocean all night. Our only comments was the kitchen is not well stocked, so bring your own spices, salt, and pepper. Very little serving dishes so be prepared to bring your own. BBQ, does not light so we had to use matches to start it. Also no cleaning supplies to wipe down counters or broom to sweep, so bring your own. They do have a vacuum. Beautiful view, you get the ocean breeze all day long. Home has everything you would need. Plenty of seating including a big dining room table. The home could use some refurbs and definitely new beds as they were pretty uncomfortable but not unmanageable. Overall the home was clean.

Only good things to say about this listing. Worked great for our group. AC runs cold! Balcony overlooking boardwalk and ocean is terrific.

We have stayed in this unit before and love the views. It was a very relaxing stay and there was plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. We only had a couple of minor issues with the rental. The refrigerator was extremely cold and we couldn't adjust the temperature so many of our food items were frozen. The other issue for us was the unit didn't have a toaster (we like to have toast in the mornings). With that being said we would definitely rent this unit again.

We had a girlfriends trip and were so happy with this vrbo. The response on every question was super quick, the location was perfect, and the unit was great. We were in walking distance to everything and you couldn’t beat the view. We enjoyed ourselves and already want to go back!

Great location & response to questions. Bedding & towels were new & clean. We were not leaving San Diego until 6:00pm & they granted a noon check out with zero hassle. Master shower needs a new shower head and handle and all cupboards in all bathrooms & the kitchen are tired & scratched and need to repainting or replacing. Ever dining room chair had multiple stains - really quite gross. Outside also needs a power wash & paint job. Although we enjoyed our stay the price was pretty high. Pictures are nicer than the actual property. I don’t NOT recommend it, but should be a lower price point or repairs and updating need to be made.

I have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s over the years. The responsiveness at this property was second to none. Felicia texted me with check in details and responded (via text) immediately when I had a question or concern during our stay. This was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated.

Very convenient location to Belmont Park and shops/restaurants. It is only about a mile from a large grocery store. With a rental of a bicycle every thing is within easy access. The property has all the amenities you need. We loved having the deck space as an alternative to the beach. The only negative comment is that the master bedroom could use a new mattress and the bedroom with bunk beds was very cramped.

The home and location were great. Unfortunately 2 days in we were informed by the property manager the owner was watching us through his nest doorbell which has a clear view into the house through the glass wall. Clearly a privacy issue. This is an owner that clearly doesn’t trust people renting his home. Do not recommend this rental.

It had everything we needed and the location was unbeatable.

We had a great time. Space was wonderful for a family of 4. Just a few recommendations, provide standard Igloo Cooler to use for the beach. Provide some kind of drying rack so we can use to hang wet towels & swim suits. We would rent this house again.

Outstanding all around! Beautiful view from the balcony and great location! Everything was super clean and modern. I cant wait to book another vacation there!

1. Some family friends that had a place, A few doors down had many more sand toys and games for the beach. It is recommended that this place invest in these sorts of games (I.e. corn hole, kite, shovels, soccer ball, etc...)2. Parking in the garage is not easy. It is recommended that you provide instructions on this and also place plywood on your walls as many others before us have hit the walls. We did not hit the walls, but it is clear that this is an issue. Photos can be provided. 3. It is recommended that you get more cups for your kitchen. 4. The response from the maintenance in manager team was excellent. 5. We could not get the downstairs TV to work it would be good to have instructions provided on this. 6. The noise level of the neighbors was low. This was very satisfying! We loved our trip and would love to come back to this place!

Great location for families. Lots of restaurants and shopping. You are only about 7 minutes from a grocery store also. The house is right across the beach with chairs and boogie boards to use. Our only suggestion would be access to a fire bowl or pit. You can’t have fires on the beach without a container and that would have been fun.

Great property and 710 us a vert attentive and professional support team! We have stayed here before and will again - great views, clean and comfortable with all of the necessities covered. The garage is a bit small from a width standpoint - so if you have a wider SUV you may want to park offsite - they say the dimensions in the ad though so just be aware.

My family of 5 with an aunt and uncle had a great time at Nahant. Check in and communication with the property manager was very easy. Ages of the family were 2@70 yrs 40, 38, 11, 6, and 4. Other tenants were quiet. Neighbors to both sides were young and having fun but no bother to us. This property is a second and third level so no noise to deal with above you. We had a tremendous stay and are actually booking another property by this same rental company for a date next month. Were were very happy!
