We couldn’t fault a thing. It was a perfect stay. Immaculate accommodation, the most welcoming hosts who went out their way to make sure we had a fab holiday. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a fabulous hot tub!

It’s hard to put into words how amazing this property is - it has literally everything you could ever want, and more! This was our second stay at the barn, and we came for a short break for our Wedding Anniversary. Lynn and Nigel are just about to be nicest people you could ever meet, and could not have done more for us. The barn is stunning, immaculately clean and the most beautiful location. Every detail in making the stay perfect is there, from the wonderful arrival meal prepared for our arrival to the homemade bread and breakfast basket. The hot tub was a godsend especially after a over ambitious walk through the Manifold Valley - a leg killer for someone not used to it walking but beautiful scenery and don’t regret it at all. This property has literally everything and looking forward to visiting again in the not so distant future. This property trumps any other stay in the UK, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

This is an outstanding property. From a delishes dinner and wine on arrival to the glorious breakfast basket and home made ginger cake on our final evening....amazing comfortable beds, wonderful hot tub and brilliant facilities. We will definitely be back!

Nigel & Lynn have thought of everything. Beautiful Friday eve supper waiting for us in the slow cooker on arrival, table set with linen napkins. Greeted with fresh farm eggs, bottle of wine, homemade preserves. Accommodation is spacious, super-clean. Top quality bed linen & towels, dressing gowns and slippers, towels for use with hot tub. Then Nigel arrived with a smile and homemade ginger cake. We will definitely be returning.

We couldn't have asked for better accommodation, Ford Old Hall Barn is finished to a very high standard and the kitchen in particular is superb - everything is provided and well thought out. Lynn and Nigel are wonderful hosts who provided a very warm welcome with a tasty evening meal and wine (which was perfect after a long journey) and milk in the fridge for a much needed cup of tea, home baked bread and preserves and a home made cake which had been especially iced with my son's initial - these extra touches made this holiday stand out above all others, we would definitely recommend it and would absolutely stay there again. We took a short stay at the end March/early April. We have stayed at the Barn before. It really as is described in the promotional material. Lynn & Nigel have made every attention to detail and offer a luxurious facility that is extremely comfortable. The welcoming meal was a very nice touch after the long drive north. The hot tub - spotlessly clean - was fantastic to ease away the aches from the day's walking in the Peaks. Well done Lynn & Nigel - lovely people with a lovely Barn and great service - we'll return again!
