I like the cleanliness of the hotel.

I didn't like the fact that my room didn't have a wardrobe. I have to leave things and clothes on the floor.

I could not like anything, it was horrible, I didnt even check in. I was travelling with my autistic daughter and took a taxi to the hotel from the airport, it is located in a not so nice street. The worst thing was that we arrived at between 12 and 13 and I could not check in until 15:00 and they wouldnt keep the suitcase until we could check in. So I was stuck with my suitcase at the end of the street and coulnt walk around there to find a place to stay while we waited. Absalutely horrible experiance travelling for the first time with my daugther to London.

Lovely spacious room, great shower with fresh clean towels, good ventilation with the windows and nice to have net curtains to allow some privacy as well as normal curtains for the evening time. Close to North Middlesex University Hospital

Room isn't very quiet, you can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms, especially when using the toilet (flushing) and entering through the front door. Black-out curtains would be useful now that we are coming into Summer Time and the days are getting longer.

Good overall stay, room is lovely and spacious, nice amount of windows which provide good natural light. Heating works well, great shower which is lovely and powerful, fresh towels were lovely and nice to have the wardrobe to hang some clothing.

Could have used some more hangers in the wardrobe, only 2 is a little stingy. When the bathroom fan is on there is quite a strong smell on cigarette smoke which is unpleasant as a non smoker - had to keep the windows open

The room was clean and nice, but it’s really far from the center. I choose the option to pay at the hotel, that was offered through booking, and 2 days before I arrived I started receiving calls that if I didn’t pay in advance, I was going to lose my booking. It was really suspicious as I didn’t recognize the number. Finally everything was OK, but the payment method should be fixed in Booking.com

The staff were very unhelpful , i had booked the property and then requested for a cancellation which was never confirmed, prior to the date of my request . My reservation was paid for and remained as confirmed on booking .com. I went to the property but was not given access ,the staff i spoke to was very rude telling me i was speaking rubbish and would call the police if i didnt leave. It was late at night and i was stranded and in the rain , the only thing i was told was to go and sort it out with booking.com.I had to thereafter, chase both them and booking.com ,before i eventually got my refund.It was not a pleasant experience.

Location is close to North Middlesex University Hospital, locations felt quite safe, free parking around the property which was very helpful! Room was clean and warm, bed is comfortable.

Room was incredibly small, looked to be a loft conversion, there was no storage for any clothes which was not ideal, the automatic light above the stairs turned on when you rolled over in bed at night which was not great at all. No blinds or curtains on the windows which is not ideal when trying to sleep.

We booked a deluxe apartment specifically because it had a sofa bed so we’d have 2 beds (father and son). When we arrived we given a standard apartment with 1 bed. We had to call owner and we were provided with the correct apartment. But we were to told we’d have to pay £40 for the bedding for the sofa bed. So despite paying more for this apartment we weren’t allowed to use the sofa bed without paying more. It does say in conditions that there is a £40 charge for an ‘extra bed’, but we’d already paid extra for a room with a sofa bed. No common sense explanation from the owner. Rip off!

Used to go there for work and always feel like my place, and most of neighbor rooms are nice people whenever I am there.

Lovely room with all the essentials you could need, beds are super comfy and the staff are so helpful, very quick to respond and lovely! Cannot fault the room and service - I am looking forward to staying here again!

As i returned to the room for sleeping, I could not enter in the room as the PIN they gave me to open the door did not work. I tried to call the numbers for help several times (like 15 times) and I wrote several messages but no one answered. I was locked out of the room in the middle of the night: I was lucky I had a friend in London that hosted me last minute, otherwise I would have slept in the floor in front of the room. The next day a nice girl tried to help me on the phone but they did not even refund the whole amount. I suggest everyone to go somewhere else.

Établissement propre , propriétaire disponible et très réactif en cas de problème la journée.

Chambre sans fenêtre. Très mal insonorisé, et malheureusement des personnes très bruyantes les deux nuits où j’y étais. Il n’y a pas de veilleur de nuit sur place puisque ce n’est pas un hôtel c’est bien le problème car il y a plusieurs chambres et je suis mal tombée.

Le parking,le calme

J'ai été obligé de mettre mes baskets pour se rendre dans le mariage de mon neveu. Système blocage de la porte, car mes affaires sont restés bloqué dans une chambre avec mes chaussures de ville. Personnel incompétent, car il ne répond pas au téléphone ☎️

Loud banging doors constantly, no staff around at all (you just have to text someone), the street it’s on one house was playing loud music all night both nights we were there, room described as garden view however there was no garden it was a street view, and there was a loud argument between a previous guest and who I’m guessing was the owner and they had a baby with them who was crying loudly, and finally it states bedroom is soundproof but sadly it’s not as we were able to hear the couple below us during the night

Easy to locate the property with private parking outside although not clearly marked, easy to access the property and it was clean and tidy. WIFI was good and all the information you needed was passed to you by the property owner prior to your arrival. The location is close to Palmers Green train station which can get you into Central London with regular train services.

Only down side to my stay was a minor problem with the TV antenna which was not providing a signal. I did inform the property owner who was grateful for the information and would get the problem sorted the following day.

The property is very nice. I had a good place to park and a comfy bed. My room did not have any windows but they did supply a fan. The staff (I called because I was having a hard time getting into my room) were very friendly.

The room had a green light on the ceiling which lit up the entire room. If you like to sleep in a dark room - avoid this room as it is very bright. I could not find the TV remote which was not a huge problem as I had brought my iPad. The shower was very difficult to figure out and in the end, I could only just have a wash as I had spent too much time trying to regulate the temperature. The shower then filled up with water as the drain was probably blocked. The bathroom mirror was very dusty. Not a big problem but these little things are noticeable. This review is based on the one room I stayed in.

We didn’t stay.

A few hours before check in I received a telephone call asking for me to pay £600 security deposit by bank transfer. I asked why as it stated on booking.com that you pay £200 by credit card on check in and I would rather do this, as I do not have ready access to such money. Best Base refused, stated it was in their policies and I had to pay before arriving. I asked why and that it didn’t sound legitimate. They just repeated that it was in their policy. I felt scared I was being scammed and took the decision not to stay somewhere that was trying to charge me 10 x the rate of the room as a security deposit.

Very little noise reduction and with hard floors, being on ground floor meant 1st floor footsteps very loud?

I had a terrible experience staying at best base. Uncomfortable night sleep as we discovered many bed bugs. Barely slept until the morning and had to contact owner to let him know. He did not refund me for the night and we cancelled the second night stay as agreed and was promised a refund for that night, to which I haven’t received the refund. Terrible customer service

I was ill during my stay ,the place itself was top rate.
