It was a great house in a great place. The only complaints we have are there was broken glass in the driveway, and they were renovating the other side of the building so we would get woken up in the morning to the sounds of construction. Other then that it was a great stay.

It was nice place to stayed. The only thing was in the backyard, the grass wasn't mowed, so we didn't enjoyed the backyard as much. Other then that, we would consider staying at this place in the future.

The living room furniture was stained and looked dirty. Grandkids would not sit on it. The parking was terrible. One bed had cheap sheets and they kept popping off during the night. Very aggravating. My daughter wanted to leave and get a hotel because of the neighborhood.

The owners were pleasant and helpful with questions. One of the air conditioners broke in the bedrooms while visiting so it made for an uncomfortable night sleeping. The place has nice colors and concept, however the couch is stained and carpet was not vacuumed. We had a problem with the tub draining. When walking up the front steps it smells like rotten garbage. The neighbors porch is full of trash. Also, he smokes on the porch. The description states the water is within walking distance, however we did not feel safe enough in the neighborhood to do so. We should have researched the neighborhood prior to booking. We only left the house to go to and from our van. Off street parking was not an issue. The neighbor’s dog barks constantly. The beds were comfortable and clean. The floors are squeaky: it’s an old home which isn’t a bad thing, but it makes it difficult to quietly walk around while others are sleeping.

There were flowers on the street where someone was shot to death last May.There were more flowers on the street two houses down in front of the abandoned school. That night we heard two gun shots and the sirens that followed.The neighbors in the adjoining duplex were loud and there dog barked until 2 in the morning.People rode by the house with their car radios very loud until early morning.We stayed 5 nights and no one bothered our car on the street. The house was clean, well furnished, but there is no loft as was advertised We did not feel safe in this house,and will not recommend because of it's location.

Wonderfully represented double in Harrisburg. Close to everything, well appointed. We didn't spend much time in the home as we were attending an event at the Farm Show Complex, but it met our needs. The street parking was easier than expected. There was only one bathroom, which we were aware, but it had a strangely placed radiator that blocked the vanity and proper sitting on the toilet. The only disappointment was the kitchen. It didn't have large cooking pans, so cooking for a larger group was difficult. As well, there is no dishwasher, so you had to hand wash everything, but there was no strainer or adequate towels to dry or let things dry. Also, the dishes need to be washed before they were used. I didn't find them to be very clean. All in All, it was a nice place in a nice location that served our needs and our budget.

Nice old home. Lots of history, tastefully decorated,comfortable and centrally located. Enjoyed our stay. Doris and Adrian were very attentive. A big thank you.

We were worry about parking in the street at night, but we always find parking in front of the house.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was comfortable and centrally located to the city of Harrisburg. With travel in surrounding cities, being centrally located (and close to the aiport) was important for us.
