We traveled with two other families. A total of 6 adults and 6 children. Plenty of room to spread out! Having the boat at the house to rent was such an added bonus!
Property manager was super responsive, as was the person who handles the boat rental.

This is our second time renting this house with a big group and we loved it as much as the first time. The property is so peaceful (minus some noise from a house being built two doors down), great bedrooms, love the pool table and being about to rent a boat and jet ski to dock at the house and go out is perfect. Only complaint is for the amount of the cleaning fee the amount of dead bugs and cobwebs outside around the doors and porches needs to be taken care of every time it’s cleaned it’s years worth.

Great house for a family gathering, tons of space for everyone. Kids really enjoyed tubing and owners made it very easy to rent the boat. Loved the back porch and outside seating areas, very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Inadequate kitchen dishes and silverware.
Sofa and dining table sat 6, half of our group🙁.
Beautiful wood floors with all rugs slipping and curling.
Hill was impossible, steep, with broken sidewalk down to lake, no railing, a real falling hazard for all ages. Disappointments abound.

Beautiful home on Lake Oconee! The house was situated on a cove which made it very safe for our children to swim and tube. Renting the pontoon boat was the icing on the cake!

We had a large group and this home was a perfect fit on space. We found a local chef and utilized his skills to help us with meals for our group. All space and bathrooms, convenience of shops near by and lake views make this house a perfect rental. Will definitely rent again. FYI, we also rented the boat and it was in great shape. Plus jet ski rental from Oconee Wild made it work for our group.

The home was a wonderful gathering spot for our out of town family for a long weekend.
Being right on the lake was perfect. The location is peaceful yet close to grocery, The Ritz etc. The backyard is magical in the evenings and the home has plenty of space. The absolute only drawback is sharing the master bathroom shower with the smaller main floor bedroom. Otherwise it’s perfect
Hannah, the manager is so helpful and promptly responds to emails and fulfills requests. She made sure our stay was perfect.

Large spacious house as billed. Apparently has some animal that lives there—I had a terrible allergic reaction to it. Leaky pipe le in bathroom, smoke alarms beeping. Neighbors very noisy.

We had a long weekend with family to celebrate my husband's 40th and the home was perfect. The home is located on a quiet part of the lake that is perfect for relaxing. The home is beautiful and well equipped with all you need for a perfect lake holiday.

We have stayed many places on Lake Oconee and really like this one. Location is good, convenient to many things. The cove is a nice quiet cove to tube with the kids. Loved the Terrace level and having the living room/kitchen above.
One opportunity is the exterior cleanliness of the property. Many cobwebs and dirt on the screened in porch, deck and off the terrace level. Needs a good pressure washing a couple times a year.

Father's Day Week Vacation
My family and I do an annual family vacation for Father's Day Week where we get the cousins (age range from 3-10). This house was perfect as it had all the amenities one could want and the house is settled in a quiet cove with easy access to the larger portion of Lake Oconnee. Gorgeous house inside and out!

Great vacation getaway!
We had a wonderful weekend at this lake house. Very clean and well maintained property. It’s very obvious owners take great pride in their lake house. All the lights were labeled, anything and everything you will need in the kitchen and some. Plenty of games and family fun to be had in this house. Bout and Jetskis (if rented) work great and lots of fun, clean and nice dock. And very well lite back yard area. Will be back again

The home is even more beautiful in person! On a quieter part of the lake, it was perfect for fishing from the dock and using the kayaks to paddle around. Great communication- the owner answered all of our questions quickly and. Great stay!

Very nice, particularly inside. The host was great! We were surprised, however, at the elevation drop from the house to the lake, which was not apparent from the photos or the listing. And---unfortunately---the upper deck and outside first floor patio had not been cleaned and was covered in cobwebs and dead bugs.

Great place for a guys weekend!
This place was great! Plenty of space for a large family or friend get together. Beautiful Lake view and Dock/back patio make sure a fun time whether cooking out or just hanging out.
We had 9 of us there for a golf weekend. I would say only suggestion is to cleaning company to clean fan blades, as you could tell it had been awhile and almost every room has a fan. But other than that Clean, Beautiful home with nice floor plan. It was perfect for what we needed. Communication from Property manager was also flawless, no delay in response!

Great getaway
We love Lake Oconee and have rented houses and condos for the past few years. This was the best rental so far! Updated spacious home with an amazing lake view. And having the boat on property the entire time gave us the freedom to enjoy the lake at leisure. Absolutely loved this property!

Great time at Hoot Owl Lane
Very nice home on Lake Oconee! Fit our large family perfectly. Multiple large open areas to gather together, very comfortable bedroom quarters. We spent most of the time on and in the water. Great dock space for the kids to swim and float. Used the boat and jet-ski a lot. Got the 3 grandsons up on wake boards and skis for first time, they loved it! As we all did, would love to come back again! Host was perfect with communication and follow up!

Beautiful and comfy lake house
Lauren and Greg were so easy and pleasant to work with. We rented the boat and we’re so happy we did - Greg came over on arrival and showed us how everything worked. We didn’t need a thing - the kitchen was perfectly appointed, the gas grill worked great, plenty of paper goods, trash bags, and towels. We traveled from Austin, Tx and Naples, Fla so it was nice not to have to worry about all of those small items. The community was great to take our morning walks and the neighbors were friendly. Loved sitting at night on the screened porch and listening to the frogs and crickets. Thank you Lauren for opening your home to us!

Loved Our Stay!
We’ve rented a few homes on Lake Oconee and this is by far our favorite home and location! Home was extremely clean, new furniture and new pontoon. Our family spent Thanksgiving week here and relaxed the entire time. Plenty of room for large families and WiFi/amenities worked without issue. Owner and property manager were very responsive when we had questions. Renting the boat was worth every penny. We’ll be back! Thanks for a great home away form home!
