Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time staying at the ocean vista home, and got some of the most beautiful days of the summer during our stay.The only negative to this property was getting yelled at by the neighbor for using vegetables out of the garden on the rental properties land. We didn’t know we couldn’t and thought it was just a nice touch for guests to use local produce since there was a full kitchen.

Groceries delivered was a HUGE plus, as was the beautiful house, and Christine was always so kind when we had questions. Coming back next year!

Great rental. Can walk to dinner/shops/marina. House was large and clean. Everything worked great. Christine was very nice, easily reachable for questions. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re with a group of 4+. Great for kids.

We have been coming to Sitka for 20 plus years and have stayed at lodges in the past. This is the first year we've stayed in a private home rental. We were very pleased with the experience. The house was wonderful. Comfortable large bedrooms, a large living-dining area with a spectacular view of Sitka Sound. Our grandson stayed with his grandmother while the rest of the adults went fishing each day. He loved sitting in the window watching the boats, airplanes, buses and people go by the house all day. It was close enough to walk to town, so it wasn't necessary to rent a car. We would definitely love to stay at this home again on future trips.

The eight of us thoroughly enjoyed this rental and had plenty of room. For the price, we were a little surprised there were no 'extras'. We had to buy additional everything: ketchup, laundry soap, trash bags, body wash, etc. But what a great location. Right on the water, next to the Totem Trail, just down from the playground, and an easy walk to town.

Loved the "nook room" behind the fireplace and having a fire pit. The washer and dryer were a big plus since we had been traveling for a while. Everything was just lovely.
