Le charme de la grande chambre et surtout la vue panoramique sur sienne. A 200m de la place de sienne.

Rien qui ne puisse me faire regretter mon choix d hotel.

Das hübsche Hotel liegt sehr zentral und damit nahe bei den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und äusserst gastfreundlich. Wir waren mit dem Auto angereist und wurden vorab über die entsprechenden Eigenheiten informiert (Siena darf nur durch eines der Tore mit dem Auto befahren werden). Das reichliche Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Wir hatten inkl. Frühstück gebucht. Das Hotel hat aber räumlich keine Möglichkeit Frühstück anzubieten und liefert es zu einer am Vortag angegebenen Zeit auf das Zimmer. Das ist zwar nett gemeint, aufgrund der Zimmergröße aber nicht wirklich schön, wenn man nicht im Bett frühstücken mag.

Het ligt op korte loopafstand van alles waar je wil zijn. Valet parking. Uitzicht van kamers aan de achterkant is heel mooi. Na een doorwaakte nacht kregen we een (kleinere) kamer aan de achterkant.

De kamers aan de straat zijn slecht geïsoleerd. De smalle straat is een uitgaande route voor taxis en vrachtverkeer. Dronken studenten maakten ons wakker om 3 uur; vuilniswagens begonnen met veel lawaai vanaf 6 uur te rijden. Tussendoor motoren en autos. Alsof het allemaal door je kamer gaat. Reactie eigenaar: “dat gebeurt gewoon in het centrum”. 1 beker in een 2-persoonskamer is te weinig. Geen mogelijk om thee of koffie te maken, en geen fles water op de kamer. De metalen tuinstoeltjes op de kamer veroorzaken rugklachten.

Towels not changed ( maybe I should have put bath towel on floor to indicate I wanted it changed). Hairdryer not very strong. The website Did not know state that breakfast was served in the room.

No kettle in the room

This hotel is AMAZING. I had to make a late minute booking due to a work emergency - and this place saved me. The WONDERFUL young lady (Makifa?) at the front desk let me in early so I could begin my work AND we got an upgrade to room 30 (on the 3rd floor) which had an extra area (with the coolest floor tiles you can imagine) with a second sleeping area, kettle and small table and chairs. The view was extraordinary, the room large, clean and the bathroom spotless. I can not recommend this hotel enough. Everything was perfect. I will be back!! Thank you.

The hotel was easy walking distance from the Piazza del Campo. The third floor had a view of the city from above the rooftops.

The shower needs updating.

Excellent staff. Bright and tastefully decorated room and lobby, wonderful breakfast delivered to the room. Peaceful location but within walking distance to everything. Elevator is a plus after a long day of sightseeing.

Room did not have a refrigerator, however, front desk provided bottled water at no charge on request which was a great compromise

The palace is highly impressive, historical and beautiful, but very well maintained and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even offered to help arrange a wine tasting tour in the region. We ordered breakfast for the stay. Both the food and in room dining experiences were very nice. Everything is just perfect.

Dated hotel. Trading off location. Clearly needs to be more competition from better quality hotels in Siena to motivate hotel owners to upgrade their premises.

I Merli di Ada is located inside Siena old town very close to Piazza del Campo - fantastic location. The staff were very responsive and helpful especially giving directions and parking locations for our motorbike nearby. The room was spacious and neat and good value for money. We left our bags for a few hours after check out and the staff kindly let us change and freshen up before leaving in the afternoon. Grazie ancora per il vino!

The hotel is in a very convenient location to all the sites, restaurants and shops. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room was clean, spacious and good AC. The breakfast, which they serve in the room, was fresh and satisfying. Plenty of food. They even went out of their way to get us apple juice (not on their menu). The kind of service we received overall is rare.

The location of this hotel is great, walkable to the main square of Siena. The room was spotless and well equipped with facilities. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Very central (close to the centre and yet in a quite neighbourhood), staffs are incredibly friendly and helpful. They can arrange for your car park with an extra fee and very responsive.

There is no fridge in the room (although We never needed any)

Beautiful B&B! We had an incredible view of Siena from our room. Lovely hosts! We were spoiled each morning with a delicious breakfast delivered to our room.

Everything! Location was great! Staff was very helpful and gentile and even gave us recommendations for good restaurants around the hotel where we ended up going and enjoyed very very much ! We were also upgraded with the room and got a bottle of wine as a gift ! The stay was amazing, and we will definitely come back.

Tasteful decorations d good facilities

Parking a d getting vehicle access is difficult .

The owners went out fo thier way to help with whatever we asked from our late arrival to getting us a car to the station during the busy Palio time. They even gave us as bottle of their òwn vinyard wine when we checked out. The location was just 5 minutes from the Campo but in a quiet street with many restaurants and bars nearby.

There was not much to dislike. We looked carefully at the write up before we booked and it matched our expectations.
