The establishment was run by a family, who we found to be very friendly and while our stay was only a short one, the room met our needs.

We choose the accommodation because on booking.com website it said the apartment was only 2500 feet away from the bus station.. BUT ONLY IF YOU CAN FLY.

The room is clean and tidy, the garden is lovely and the kitchen has everything you need. Ava is remarkably kind and helpful. She gave us a lot great suggestions about transportation, beach and restaurants. This is the best home stay we have experienced and highly recommended.

I had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Ava. The host, Dragita, was really attentive and welcoming and obviously keen to make sure I got the most out of my time in Dubrovnik. The room was spacious, with a small private terrace and I even had a washing machine in the bathroom. Altogether, a lovely stay and I'd heartily recommend stopping here.

Short walk to the beach and the promenade, and a short taxi ride to the Old Town. The host Dragica was one of the sweetest and nicest persons we ever met! She made us feel welcome and as a part of the family!

Amazing house owner, very kind and helpfull. Room/bathroom was very clean. Easy to travel from/to Old Town. Close to beaches (around 5-10 mins of walk). When I return to Dubrovnik, this place will be my first choice definitely.

Amazing! We had an absolutely wonderful stay. :) The property itself was as expected and presented in photos. The location was even better than anticipated, with everything you need very close by. Very clean. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. We met and had conversation with both, though interacted the most with the lovely Dragica. She’s so sweet and made us feel so cared for. She brought us snacks and offered us coffee almost every day. Her husband gave us fresh fruit he’d picked. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts and it was definitely the most warm and heartfelt booking/accommodation experience I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The hosts are wonderful. The room - apartment- property is immaculate. The location could not be any better. We were close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the best beaches. The bus connection is only a few minute walk from here and only 10 minute drive to the old town. The host give me some money recommendations and pamphlets as well as maps and she even drew on the map where we can go for walks, best restaurants, bus stations, and any other interesting points. She gave us extra attention with fresh coffee, fruit, and was super kind and hospitable. I would come back anytime! I can only recommend this place. One of the best places! Thank you so much! 😊

Everything was perfect!

The hostess was very sweet and super helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was also available. Although it is not situated in the city center, the bus stop and the taxis were only 5min walk from the guesthouse.

I had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Ava! Ava was a wonderful hostess and made me feel right at home as a solo traveler. The location was great because it did not take me long to get to the old town or the marina. I would definitely stay here again!

The host was very friendly and informed us about the parking possibilities beforehand. The room has proper air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The seating outside is very nice as well. The neighborhood is kid friendly and calm, but you do have to look out for occasional traffic. The host informed us about all the things to do in Dubrovnik and the ways to get there. There is plenty to do in the direct area, but the historic old town is about 40 minutes walking. There are bus lines and taxi's going there as well. We had an amazing stay which was all thanks to the host and her care. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay in Dubrovnik.

We stayed at this place just for 1 night before we went back to Czechia from our road trip in Balkan. It is nice apartment, there is everything you need to relax, owners are very friendly and helpful.

This property is excellent for value for money and to have really kind hosts. The place is clean and tidy and the facilities are more than adequate to accommodate anyone. The hosts are fantastic and will offer you some small bites and lovely coffee in the morning. Thank you :)

Nothing, everything we needed was there and we could go and explore Croatia with no worries

We were able to plan a transfer with them the day before arrival which was excellent. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and she provided us with various drinks to choose from and maps Tec. She was extremely welcoming!!! we had all we needed in our room to be self sufficient. It was clean and safe. There was a t.v. which worked via an Ariel. We had no problems with this and we were able to find English speaking programmes. The accomodation is a 15-20min walk from sunset beach- the water was lovely! (Large pebble/ stone beach) you must venture into the cave bar and watch the sunset from the beach! 1min walk to A local convenience store around the corner where you can buy food and drink at reasonable prices. It has easy access to the bus stop! Definately get the bus into old town, much cheaper than uber or taxi! For a last minute thrown together break away, we thank Guest House Ava for providing a safe and clean room for us to return to. Also the owner went above and beyond with being helpful! She provided us with umbrellas to borrow on our last day while it was a little rainy. I would stay there again.

At night there was a dripping sound of unknown origin that would wake me, I am a light sleeper so really there is nothing that could be done! The service was fantastic!

On arrival we received a lovely welcome from the host. We were seated and brought out a selection of drinks while she used a map to show us the the area, where the promenade, supermarket and busses go from ect. Check in was quick and we were shown to our room. We had a studio apartment which had a large bed, ensuite bathroom good tea making facilities and a fridge. There is plenty space and also a large wardrobe. The balcony is large with two chairs and a table and looks out over the street and down towards the harbour having a partial sea view. The air conditioning is good and our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. There is extras in the room such as hairdryer and a good selection of maps and info about the area. Property is located in an excellent location with everything you need close by and a bus stop local at a price of approx £1.25 to old town which takes about 10 mins. The property offered us a transfer which would have been 10euro cheaper than the one from the airport so if they offer it would be worth taking them up on this. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I would definitely recommend this guest house and would certainly return :)

For the price we paid I would not expect anything more. I would say to check the room type to see what's included as some of the rooms have cooking facilities but ours just had a fridge. There is no shared kitchen facilities. This is really not an issue though there is plenty places to eat nearby.
