Very cozy and clean. Was conveniently located to restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood.

This experience was smooth, and our stay was perfect! The house is clean with good energy, and style. The backyard is great for dogs, and a wrap around patio makes getting around outside easy. We will use this rental for any future stays! 5 stars

Beautiful house very close to the parks along the San Marcos River and the Town Square for shopping, restaurants and bars. Charming deck and covered patio which showcases Cameron's gorgeous plants. We only ended up using the microwave and refrigerator/freezer but the kitchen is fabulous and has all you need to make your own meals. Would highly recommend this house if you're looking to visit San Marcos.

Pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the outdoor space (packed folding chairs). The home was as advertised and very clean. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and we were able to walk dogs safely. Owner was very accommodating and responded promptly to any questions that we had before and during our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Nice place to stay during a visit to the San Marcos area. Fenced in yard was great for our dogs. House was walking distance to town square.

The property was clean, cute, and comfortable. I enjoyed my time in the neighborhood and in the house, and would absolutely recommend it.

The house was clean and much larger than pictured, however there was a terrible smell that lingered throughout the house. We paid for a 2 night stay, but could only handle 1 night and barely got any sleep.
Our dog also had a difficult time and was foaming and sneezing due to the overwhelming smell. We’re unsure if the smell was caused by chemicals used in cleaning the rugs, or because of animal smells that lingered throughout but it was unbearable. We opened the doors for a couple of hours to allow air to pass through the house but it didn’t help.
The front and backyard also had multiple dog stools left behind upon our arrival.
The house has a lot of potential and is in a great location but unfortunately we didn’t have a comfortable stay.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Heritage from booking to checking out. We loved the decorations and enjoyed the perfect location. We hope Heritage will be available next time we come back to San Marcos!

Cameron was an accommodating and gracious host, and the property was so serene and beautiful! It is much bigger than I was expecting as the deck nearly wraps around the entire house with beautiful trees and an array of outdoor seating/hammocks. The house was so clean and well designed, but you can also tell there is so much heart and soul woven in. As a musician myself I greatly appreciated the artistic touches/piano/Frida theme that felt like a creative retreat even though it was just a stone’s throw from the main square. I can’t wait to revisit!

Highly recommend, quiet neighborhood and only minutes from town square!
I was in San Marcos for a few days and was looking for something close to the town square. The property did not disappoint. Great location and seamless VRBO experience. The home is warm and very comfortable. Large kitchen and wonderful shaded outdoor area to sit and unwind. I would not hesitate to book the property for all my future trips to the San Marcos area! Cameron thank you!
