Good stay. Short walk to beach, stores and restaurants. Easy check in and out . Would stay again.

I am a frequent visitor to Ana Maria Island and I have often stayed on golf Drive where this property is located. I have to say it’s one of the best places I have rented with the best value. When it comes to reviews, it’s very dependent on what one is looking for. I was interested in a retreat type property which this location served with its close proximity to the beach, which is right behind the property and easily accessible. The unit was quiet with only one other unit attached and the rooms were clean. The property is well maintained and freshly painted. I was so grateful for the closed garage which protected my vehicle from the weather and the washer/dryer which i used often eliminating the need to pack a lot of clothes. I have this property earmarked as a favorite and if possible will rent again. Highly recommend.

The pics are pretty accurate and we did enjoy our stay. There are a few things to consider, but it's a cute little updated "Duplex" that is right on the trolley line in AMI - A super quick walk to the beach which was awesome and it was so helpful to have a beach cart, umbrella and a few chairs especially since we flew in from North Carolina. The Two King Rooms were spacious and I was pleasantly surprised that the beds even though they were memory foam were very comfortable. My only complaint with the bedrooms was there were no mirrors at all and only a few hooks (no beach house can have enough hooks IMO) - the only mirror was in the single bathroom and one full length near the kitchen which is a weird spot for one. Don't rely on the kitchen mirror to give you a good reflection, the way it's hung makes you look like an Oompa Loompa. Really a pain when trying to get ready for the day or dinner. The Kitchen was updated, I loved that there was a small set of ceramic cookware instead of crappy aluminum nonstick scratched-up pans but that was the extent of being able to cook anything. The kitchen only had the basics and I mean basics - no boiling a big pot of water because there are no larger pots or pans. just a basic 5-piece small cook set Nothing else in the kitchen to brag about at all other than it seemed very clean! The living room looks exactly like the pictures, Cute and simple, but keep in mind that is the space that you will sit in if it's raining (which happened to be 3-4 days during our weeklong trip - Who knew we brought the rain with us from NC after AMI hadn't had any for over a month) really uncomfortable furniture to sit here for any length of time. My biggest issue was the sliding glass door that I am pretty sure has been mentioned before. If you open it, you will have a hella time getting it closed again and you think it's closed and pinned but if you don't check both sides there will likely be a slight gap. It took us a few days to figure out where all of the mosquitos kept coming from and it turns out, it was from the door not closing properly and it was a pain to get it sealed back up, which meant even if we wanted to it was too much trouble to use the small balcony. Overall those few minor things Sandy Toes is clean, cute, simple and a great location. This was our first time to AMI and it was lovely. Cool Relaxed Vibe in November (other than the rain) the water is beautiful, at this time of year we didn't have to wait for any restaurants and the days were still warm and we saw tons of birds, dolphins and while sitting on the beach we even saw a Manatee swim by when it stuck its snout up for a breather.

We loved the location. Nearby was a quiet beach, convenient shopping, trolley stops (both northbound and southbound), and casual eating spots. Beach chairs, wagon, and umbrella were provided at the rental. My 80 year old mother didn’t enjoy the steps up to the unit, but had a great time overall.

The pros of this property are clear: cute space, big enough for a few people, a block from the beach and the trolley that takes you anywhere on the island picks up right in front of your door. Any issues I had during my stay were handled properly.

Host were accommodating and friendly. Very nice property & area to stay in. Will be renting with them again in future!

Clean unit with cute beach decor. Short walk to the beach. Comfy beds, too!

Place was clean, bright and nicely decorated. Location was top notch, for not being beachfront. Carpentry finishes were done poorly, but this might not bother everyone. We were a group of four and had to buy our own toilet paper, kitchen towel, garbage bags, soaps etc, as non / hardly any were provided. Made note of this with the property manager, but no action was taken.. which is sad when paying this much for a holiday condo.

Very nice Sliding balcony door needs work. Too hard to close.
